The sales associate said he'd throw them away for me. Did not offer to credit me or apologize for the mixup. I had to purchase a new lock to replace the one we had to cut off and he didn't offer to take a few bucks off that for the inconvenience. Set in a gorgeous pastoral landscape with barn buildings dating to 1840, we were warmly greeted by a classic pick up truck and Pinterest-ready string lights before meeting the incredibly friendly shopkeeper within. Boy, was the trip worth it. The shop is brimming with an array of exciting and reasonably priced curiosities, vintage pieces, ephemera, antiques, leather furniture, and upcycled denim. Parts of the store remind me very much of Ralph Lauren's more rustic aesthetics, and I was super impressed by the sophistication and style with which the store was curated. The grounds are also so beautiful that it could easily be an event space, or a great place for lemonade or hot cider should they ever decide to sell refreshments. Can't wait to return.
