At that point, I had to tell 16 guests that our plans were canceled, after planning this ahead of time. It was extremely embarrassing and frustrating, and our time was completely wasted. The manager, Reginald, did not apologize, showed no concern, and handled the situation very unprofessionally. His response was essentially a shrug and a "my bad bro," which was dismissive and disrespectful given the circumstances. This is not how customer service should be handled, especially with large groups who planned in advance. We will not be returning.

We walked around about 4 hours, even tho our room was ready when we arrived. Dropped our bags and left. We were on the 9th floor. Nice room and decent view. The casino is gigantic! So many games, slots and table games. There is a movie theater , concert venue, bowling alley, arcade, several restaurants and bars and a food court. We didn't make it to the pool but got wristbands in case we had time. Only there for 1 night. Casino: slots were tight but I played for most of the night on various blackjack and roulette games. My winnings were steady. There are plenty of machines. The only negative is while you are playing, bar service is pretty much nonexistent. I saw waitresses walking around the tables but not once at the machines and we were all over. Get your own drinks at a bar or cart before sitting or prepare to get up to get them. Food: we ate at Smashburger for lunch. I really enjoyed my burger and fries. They were smash fries with a nice sauce on them and truffle oil. The burger was flavorful. I got a caramel Cinnabon. Another great treat. For dinner we went to the seafood buffet. It was 55.00 each and we were excited. Every.single.thing was overcooked. What was unfortunate was the confusion with the pre-paid parking. It sent us one direction and the grounds attendants weren't helpful in guiding us. After driving around for a bit, we found a place to park and they never scanned our parking pass or collected money. (Next time we'll just head there and see where we can park rather than pre-pay). It was easy to get to the Cotton Bowl itself as they had clear signage to direct you to one side of the stadium for entry. While it is a nostalgic stadium, you realize how we've grown accustomed to more modern amenities (e.g. seats with backs, restrooms that are easy to navigate in/out without steps). The concessions were right in the front when you entered and easy to navigate.

Unfortunately, ordering off the concession stand menu is like a playing a game of jeopardy, place your order in the form of a question since there is no guarantee they are even offering it at the time. Although they claim to serve wine, they didn't yet it remains on the menu. So, on with the scavenger hunt from stand to stand for wine, wouldn't it just make sense to simply cross what you don't serve off of the menu and save us a few miles in that sweatbox? At this venue you learn to settle, bud light or a can of seltzer, take your pick. Either way you pay, over a dollar an ounce with a limit of 2 per passenger. Coldplay was great, loved the show. Consider saving a bottle of water and looking for a buggy ride for the after show exit, the walk seems even longer on the way out.. Cheers!
