Yelp page notating a 10pm close

Don't waste your time! I really wanted to give Willie B's a five star rating but unfortunately, they were closed when I arrived at 7:35pm for dinner. One of the staff was walking out and locking the doors as we got out of the Uber. The woman told us they close at 7pm on Sundays but the front door says 11pm and the Yelp page says 10pm. As we were leaving another couple walked up looking for dinner. They said someone told them it closed at 10pm. Needless to say, I'd never go back here again!

Willie B's is LIT! Everyone was dancing and singing the lyrics to every song. My husband and I arrived there after 11PM and it was a straight party. The DJ was bumping all the trap hits lol! The hostess and our waitress were very nice. The food was really delicious. My husband had the jerk shrimp and fries. He loved it. I got the catfish sliders and fries which actually came out as one large catfish sandwich. That sandwich was soooo good. The truffle fries were really delicious! I got two of the frozen orange drinks. They had me feeling goodt. They had a few parks in front of the building and I should have known that something was up. We pulled into the spot and the doorman was like this spot cost $40. Luckily, we were able to find street parking not too far.

I enjoyed my time at Willie B's to the fact that I actually went back twice upon my trip. One day I went a little bit early during the happy hour time frame and it was super empty and they were actually taping a show so it wasn't too crazy. Since I was there pretty early I stayed a bit late just to see how the crowd changes and how busy it got. The music on both nights were really good ,drinks are really good ,food was really good as well . Service was good each night I requested the same person Ayana she was honestly phenomenal. The Bites I enjoyed it one night was lamb chop surf and turf with a lobster tail. The next day I went it was a Sunday so it was the brunch so I enjoyed the fried lobster which was phenomenal as well. I did like that this restaurant does also offer hookah which is a plus to me. Parking is Super limited so I would recommend if parking to get there early or to Uber. I'll be sure to return I've definitely enjoyed it each time.

I came here numerous times while in Nashville. It is a spot where you can eat, lounge, do hookah, drink and listen to music any time of day! Came for the owner's birthday celebration. Friday there was a concert at night, Saturday I lounged and Sunday I brunched all at this one place! It's a great addition to Nashville for those looking for diversity and flavor (wink wink). Good for celebrations and any age group that likes vibes. The music was popping! I've been to Nashville on 2 occasions and this is by far some of the best DJs I've heard. RnB, rap and even a slap of gospel. Food & Drink: Shrimp and grits were so yummy and creamy! It was a different type of grits then I'm used to, but I loved it. Voodoo pasta definitely was fire!! The 190 octane daiquiri was my favorite!

I was excited about this place and it's definitely a vibe but the food was beyond salty. I could barely enjoy it! The next day my hands and ankles were swollen from so much sodium. As a place that's in a predominant black area and serves our community, hypertension is more prevalent among Africans Americans than any other race. I know it's just food but high sodium intake contributes to hypertension which is a precursor to heart disease and strokes which we also suffer more than any other ethnicity. I'll love to see this place dial it back on the salt but still produce delicious flavorful food. I'll get off my soapbox now and will give this place another try as the mimosas and music was great!

Came here with friends (on a Friday) to gather and celebrate a birthday. We made reservations and was seated when we arrived. It has a lounge setup, music playing, and bar area. I ordered The Catch of the Day (Catfish) with a side of Fried Okra. It was delicious! The pieces (2) of fish were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The Fried Okra was battered evenly and fried crispy. Everyone else at the table had an array of items that included wings, fries, and fries. We also included drinks and hookah. The owner was nice and staff pleasurable. They do have a time limit on the booth you're at so be prepared for that when you arrive. Will definitely come back whenever I'm in Nashville again!

Willie B's is a must when you're in Nashville. My friends and I went for brunch and had a great time. The DJ/music made the atmosphere so fun and the drinks were the perfect combination of alcohol and flavor. The food was also delicious but be prepared to fill stuffed or ready for a nap after you eat, you won't leave hungry. I do think they could improve on wait times for food/drinks, and they were out of some of the items on the menu but Sunday may have just been one of their busier days. Some cosmetic updates to the inside would also be nice but overall I definitely recommend checking them out.

First, this place is not practicing social distancing, so if you're concerned about that, stay clear. It was packed when we went. We came here with a group while visiting my boyfriend's sister. I am not a hookah fan, and so after a while the smoke was just too much. They also allow cigars which is equally bad. I had to step outside and breathe for a while, which I felt bad because we were there for his sister, but the smoke was overpowering. I heard the food was good. We did order a chicken fettuccine type pasta, and the chicken was good! I did order two breasts, but they only came out with one. It's kind of pricey for what we got, but it was decent. We came on a Saturday night, and it's definitely a hot spot in the area. It was great for people watching too. Lots of interesting attire...felt like I was at the club. Anything goes! They have security at the front, so get ready to have your purses checked, and your men patted down. It's definitely not our scene, and the food wasn't that good to bring me back, but if you like crowds and hookahs, I can see where you might enjoy coming here.

Thrilled I had the opportunity to visit this newly opened, beautiful black-owned restaurant during my stay in Nashville. Went on a Sunday for brunch. The lively environment, following COVID-restrictions provided excellent service and food! There were about 8 in my party, which wasn't a problem because the booths seat at least 10 haha. Basically everyone ordered something different (all of which I tasted, just couldn't get enough, even when full!) The crab cakes were so good, after I ordered, two others ordered them as well. The gumbo was cool, there's literally one shrimp. The lamb was delicious, different than I usually make it. The shrimp and grits was just perfect. Was just enough seasoning and shrimp to make a complete meal. I had the whole wings and wasn't too excited about it, but they were also sauces, so I wouldn't get that again. The dry wings were cool. One friend had chicken/shrimp pasta and the other literally added ALL of the meats in it (chicken, shrimp, lobster, whatever else) and they were both thrilled. I and a couple of others felt as though all the sides were overly salted, so I'll be more choosy in the future. (Sides: fried okra, spinach, collards) Venue serves frozen drinks that will get you were you need to go, minus the car, after 2. Enough of this review, go check it out for yourself!

My friend and I came here for a girls night out and this place was perfect! We had a reservation and we were seated promptly. Everyone was wearing a mask, they take your temperature at the door and offer hand sanitizer before seating. We started with the Frog Legs and Buffalo Shrimp. The Buffalo shrimp was tasty, but the Frog Legs were bland and needed more seasoning. The portion was good for the price though. The atmosphere here is so lively, the music selection was on point, the tables were spaced out so although it felt full everyone had space. Next, we had the Shrimp & Grits and the St. Chartres Chops with sautéed spinach, and red beans & rice. The entrees were DELICIOUS! Omg, I loved the shrimp and grits and the lamb chops. I mean they were both full of flavor. The red beans and rice was good too. The spinach was bland and could use more seasoning, but overall everything was tasteful. I can't remember our servers name, but she was super friendly and made some great recommendations. I plan to come back and try their brunch because if it's anything like the dinner we'll be regulars soon. Lol

I would rate the inside ambiance an (A)very nice an cozy. Space for a larger group and something small for date night. The food was a (B-)My lamb chops were good but the spinach wasn't tasteful. My friend loved his catfish it looked really good. The group didn't like the fries it could be the seasoning but no one was a fan. The gumbo was a (B)it took a while to come out. There weren't any salad options but I think they have a temporary menu for now. I am going to support it again as I understand new businesses have their kinks to work through.

One of my favorite clubs in Nashville. The only place that doesn't play country music which I love…read more I love when they play hip hop & top 40's. You can check out the calendar to see what they're playing for the night, the ambiance in there is great-definitely a mix of LA & New York. It's a mix crowd which I love. The manager & all the staff there are very welcoming, I normally reserve a table there when I go & the prices are very reasonable.

Nashville's lounge revolution continues. We've gotten Nashville's take on Brooklyn, LA and Vegas…read more the back corner is very Miami Beach. When I walked in I, immediately, thought of Haven (RIP https://www.yelp.com/biz/haven-miami-beach-2). From the LED wall to the music to the drinks to the vibe... I didn't feel like I was in Nashville anymore. the back corner stands out and gives Middle Tennesseans something that's not readily available in this area. If you're in the mood for a little coastal cosmopolitanness (is that word? It's not a word), the back corner is about to be your new favorite place. The neighborhood gets things moving in the right direction. For as much as Germantown has (scenic streets, fancy high rises, coffee, good eats) it didn't have a nightlife destination. Putting one here makes a lot of sense. Building off the 5th & Taylor imprint, the back corner starts off fancy (but not pretentious) and builds to memorable. Upon entry, the first thing you notice is the LED wall and stage. With a changing display of electronic intoxication, you're drawn into a world far away from Lower Broad. If you can break your gaze away from the stage, you'll notice the upper and lower lounge seating. Intimate, cozy and a bit mysterious, the seating at the back corner lets you decide whether you want to be front & center or if you're rather sit back and take it all in. You can be as public or private as you'd like. If indoor seating isn't your thing, make your way outside to enjoy the fire pit and Germantown night sky. Just do us all a favor and refrain from smoking. Seeing cigarette butts along the patio or by (in??) the fire pit is not sexy and very off-brand. All the above said and noted, the back corner is not a huge space -- which is a plus and minus. It's a plus because it never becomes the cavernous mess of bass and desperation. The minus is crowds gonna crowd and with a lot of people, the space will be tight. I don't know how to fix that. I suppose a velvet rope and waitlist will keep crowds at bay but neither feels very Nashville. Hmm... Another minus (relating to the size) is that there's only one bar. One bar in a space this cool is a bit tight. I know the space behind the bar isn't huge but I would staff it with 3 bartenders at a time so as to keep up with the crowd. Because you're going to want to drink. A lot. The cocktail program at the back corner is a bit unusual for Nashville -- and very Miami. Expect rum, colors and a boozy punch. Actually, the menu could use a punch. Get on that, tbc. Re drink progression... start with the gimlet. It's pretty to look at and refreshing to drink. All the mixers, juices, etc. are made in house so you're getting quality fare. From there, hit the No. 4 and, then, the No. 2. If you're still upright, drink some water. Water? Who am I kidding? Cocktails! You're in Miami, [redacted]! Well, sorta. If you need some noshes, 5th & Taylor is serving up bites. Don't come here for dinner. Who eats food? Let the music and booze nourish your body. As perfect as the back corner is for DJ sets, live music (this *is* Nashville, after all) works as well. the back corner isn't the Downtown dance club people have wanted for a (looooong) while. But it is a welcome addition to the city's nightlife scene and, very possibly, you're new favorite place to go. Bienvenidos a Nashville.

The interior was very cute and nicely decorated. The service was great, there was a person at the counter as the server and he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. For food we ordered the salad, crispy tomato rice, shrimp toast, garlic noodles, and the ginger tofu ice for dessert. The salad was literally just butter lettuce with dressing. While it was good, not something I would have paid for if i had known that's all it was. Pairing it with the crispy tomato rice was a good idea because you can make a little lettuce wrap. The crispy tomato rice wasn't quite what I was expecting, I thought it'd be a bowl of crispy rice but it was like patties fried to be crispy. The garlic noodles were fine, but too hard and chewy in my opinion. I think it needed more crispy garlic on top for texture. All good but not dishes I would have to get again. The shrimp toast was delicious though, one of our favorite dishes. It was a think milk bread type toast. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and flavorful but not too over the top. The other favorite was the ginger tofu ice cream surprisingly. It had a crunchy shortbread at the bottom that was a great contrast to the soft tofu and ginger ice cream. If you've had ginger tofu dessert in Vietnam you'll be familiar with the flavors and texture. This is a great contemporary version of that dish. And the best part, it's not too sweet! #iykyk One thing I thought was strange is the food available on the bar side isn't available on the restaurant side and vice versa. I had wanted to try the fried chicken people have mentioned but couldn't unless I went to the bar side. They validate parking which is rare these days so I do love them for this!
