On 7/08/23 suddenly and without notice my Samsung refrigerator shut down. Joe and I were not home for many hours so unfortunately everything in the fridge had to be disposed of in the garbage or the garden. Most of the freezer items survived so I was able to relocate them into our extra freezer in the laundry room. Meanwhile Joe went into troubleshooting mode and vigorously researched the problem. After following all the advise from YouTube videos and google suggestions he wasn't able to bring life back to our fridge. Joe came to the conclusion that the compressor was defective. The next morning we called Samsung and were delighted to learn we were still under warranty. We were referred to Williston TV and given a repair appointment for the following day. Williston TV customer service gave us a time frame between 12-3 pm. The repair person came a little later but called to say he was on the way and we were happy to hear that. Service person Jordan arrived and introduced himself. Jordan took it upon himself to explain the procedure which we appreciated very much. The conclusion was exactly what Joe predicted, the compressor took a nose dive. Within an hour our fridge was up and running. Joe and I were completely satisfied and pleased with Williston TV Headquaters and repair person Jordan. I would like to point out that Jordan is an asset to your business. Always impressed when we see a young person work hard, take pride in their work, professional, skilled and a delightful personality. We showed our appreciation with a nice tip. Three tries and the refrigerator is still not fixed. First time, the coolant didn't "charge." Second time, the coolant worked but the fan was hitting a wire and made noise nonstop. Third time, the fan got fixed but water was leaking from the pipe to the icemaker. All this in addition to the hole ripped into my kitchen floor when the tech moved the refrigerator. They said they couldn't do it because it was on a pedestal near the wall. They said she should be able to hire somebody to move it. Absolutely awful. This company has been the worst, I needed to have my dishwasher fixed because it simply won't latch. The first appointment was easy to set up and the techs were awesome. The tech even set up my next appointment right then to get everything set up. This was in the beginning of November. Turns out, the appointment the tech made didn't actually exist and I wasn't scheduled. Since then I have been rescheduled a total of seven times already because of various different excuses from the company. All of them vary from "it's Samsung's fault", "the car with the parts had an accident", " the parts were delivered to the tech but he never received them", "we got the parts, but they were the wrong parts" and so on. A simple fix that was supposed to take 2 weeks has now gone on for over a month. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They have given me no solution except to keep rescheduling me. Wow, so surprised by other reviews. We had our brand new Samsung refrigerator serviced, we noticed a small imperfection on the water/ice dispensing door. Samsung was on top of this and without questions scheduled a replacement. Our appointment was cancelled the 1st time as the technician was sick, I understand people do get sick, so not a problem. If my fridge was not working at all, I'm sure I would have felt differently. Last night our tech Bobby from Massachusetts showed up. We were contacted more than once confirming the time window. Bobby called us 10 min prior to arriving. He was knowledgeable, very social, jokes around with my son (11) and while working gave me few tips on the new appliances. Williston TV On 8/6/20 I had my Samsung refrigerator repaired again from Williston TV. When I called to set up the appointment I was told I had to pay $110.00 plus tax deposit on the repair. I was also told; if a repair is done- that $110. Plus tax deposit would be deducted from the repair bill, just like last time they fixed my frig, 16 months ago. When my refrigerated was serviced, the technician quickly diagnosed the problem and made a few few minor adjustments. He told me it was just labor that I was getting charged for. At the time, I forgot I paid the $110. Plus tax ($119.49) deposit by phone already and so I paid for the repair that same day, which was $118.40 A few days later when I remembered that I paid that initial $119.49.; I called Williston TV to refund me the second payment. I was rudely told that they have a new policy and it doesn't work that way anymore. He said he's having a meeting today, and he'll talk to his guys and that -that labor cost more than $119. I explained to him I was told it was a deposit to goes towards a repair, if a repair was made- just like in the past. He was nasty and kept cutting me off. He stated the person that I spoke to misspoke and he can't help me. BE AWARE and don't use Williston TV! Liars and thieves!!! read more

I spoke with a rep one day who told me the cancellation was 24 hours before the appt and when I called back earlier than 24 hours prior to my appointment a new rep told me that I had to pay a cancellation fee (keep in mind I was already charged $130 before they even showed up). This was NOT the case when I first called as I took explicit notes thinking I may have to cancel as I had other obligations going on. Williston TV is the only authorized repair service in CT for Samsung products. Their technician was professional, but their customer service is not what I would expect from a company representing Samsung. It cost $139 to have a technician come diagnose the issue with my refrigerator. He diagnosed it before we went in the house based on the information I gave him. He then verified it was a bad compressor on my two year old refrigerator. He left in five minutes. He told me another company would contact me within 24 hours. That never happened so I called Williston. They told me it was my responsibility to contact Samsung to arrange the next service. I called Samsung and they said the repair was still open and they had not received anything from Williston. I called Williston back and they said it was up to Samsung. I asked the woman to check to make sure the paperwork was sent. She put me in hold at 4:10 pm and disconnected the call exactly at 4:30 when their office closes. Horrible experience. read more

My wife and I bought a brand new Samsung Oven from Lowes. Still like the Samsung Oven, for the most part it was a good purchase, but a few weeks after buying it one burner broke. Samsung said we'd have to call this company for repairs. We called the first time, woman who answered the phone was rude and said we can expect a call to schedule an appointment. We received a second call, this time a man, who cancelled our entire ticket when we told him we never got an appointment set up. Third time we got a man, who argued with us that the appointment would be for Monday and claimed that the first woman told us this. My guess is she wrote that in her notes when it wasn't true. In the last call we finally got a different woman who gave us an appointment date and one we can actually make. The last customer service rep was good but everyone before her made me want to take the whole oven and chuck it through the window of their office. read more

Terrible service for Samsung TV on warranty. They called to say tv be removed from wall, then scheduled an appointment, cancelled that appointment at the last minute. They called again to reschedule, but called the day before to say the part was still in transit. They scheduled a third appointment, assured me that the part was on the way and recalled the day before. Then on the the day of the appointment they called to say the part had not been shipped and was on back order and there was no date for it to arrive. Stay away from this company!! They were assigned to us by Samsung to fix our dishwasher, but the dishwasher was not fixed after 2 months!! I have to make multiple phone calls with Samsung, and each time we have to wait for another week or two. Every time it was either "nothing wrong was found", or "the tech has to cancel your appointment" or "we have to order the part". I decided to not wait any longer and finally Samsung assigned this job to another company ("Moe Appliances Repair LLC"). This company was referred to me by Samsung for a television repair. My TV began turning on and off inexplicably and was out of warranty, but barely, and Samsung agreed to the repair. These guys were great. Professional, timely, fixed the problem and even went out of their way to make sure the TV was back as it was supposed to be, which was not something they needed to do. DO NOT use them or Samsung appliances. After a brand new dish washer was leaking, Samsung contracted this repair center to come look at it. The dishwasher was not properly leveled and the technician said to have the installer come back and level it and then he would come back and service it if it was still leaking. After having it leveled it still leaks. The technician refused to return and closed the order with Samsung, who will now not stand behind their brand new product because they say it is an installation issue and there is no defect. The technician then told Samsung he returned a second time, which he never did, and that it is still an installation issue. Samsung has now opened multiple tickets which have been closed by the technician without a visit. Dishonest and horrible service all around, stay far away. read more

Report to BBB!!!! Wish I read all these reviews before I allowed these Liars into my home. Samsung Contracted then to fix the screen on my 2 month old TV. After me apparently "not being home" for my first appointment they sent someone back out two days later. "Jessie" the repair tech seemed very nice, called Samsung via some video sharing app. After about 2-3 minutes on the phone the tech informed me that there was a "factory defect" with the TV and that it would covered under warranty, went as far as to explain the whole process to me, etc. all seemed fine. Tells me "you'll get a call in 24 hrs to schedule the replacement" So I'm thinking excellent, screen broke for no reason and Samsung is actually going to fix it (unlike the fridge and microwave that I made Home Depot's problem once Samsung played their normal games) Here's the kicker to the whole story, I never get a call so I call back. Samsung and Williston repair have ZERO record of "Jessie" telling me that the TV would be repaired. Instead they have notes from "Jessie" and the Samsung tech saying it was "out of warranty" and would not be prepared. Obviously I'm thinking that there must be a communication issue or misunderstanding or something. Well after several calls with Williston TV it became apparent to me that they had a bunch of airhead valley girls answering the phones that are pretty much useless humans. The people that work for the dispatch department must seriously hate their lives if they're that miserable. Couple that with the story that "Jessie's" last day was ironically the same day of my appointment so I couldn't get his side of the story really left me thinking that everyone at this place is either just full of sh*t or that is the way they are told to perform their jobs. Moment of truth, I finally, finally after a week of nonsense get someone on the phone from Williston that must have just been fed up with life at this point and tells me: "You know what happened? The tech probably just lied straight to your face to avoid confrontation because Samsung won't fix your TV, and neither will we." This repair company is awful! They claim to have no way to talk to their repair people. They charge $110 just to come out. Last summer we used them to repair a Samsung refrigerator (because we can't find anyone local who works on them). We did receive a call saying we had to remove everything from the fridge and unplug it for three days before their scheduled appointment. I lost all my freezer food and most of my refrigerated food. They supposedly repaired it (the inside wall and behind the panel kept freezing up). But not long after, we started getting water in one of the crisper drawers. We tried everything to remedy the problem. Now we are getting water in both crisper drawers and when I researched the problem online it seems like this stems from the same issue they were supposed to have fixed last summer but they only offer a 90-day warranty on their work! They refused to pass along a message to the repair person to call me first to (1) discuss the problem (2) to give me a head's up so I can put my dogs out before they arrive and (3) to leave work (only 10 minutes away, so I don't want to have to take the whole day off). read more

Well I came on yelp to see if I was the only person who had a terrible experience with this company. Apparently I'm not. I have a Samsung dishwasher, it turned on by itself and wouldn't shut off. So this was the company assigned to come look at it. I'm in RI so why I had a company based out of NY to help me is crazy. But anyways, they were supposed to come on 1/8/18 (Monday) from 1-5. Well about 1:30 I heard noise coming from the dishwasher, I go into my basement and it's flooded. Something broke inside and leaked onto my washer, dryer, leaf blower & storage. I call the company at 3:30 and I said, I'm making sure you guys are still coming today, I'm having a big issue over here with my dishwasher. The guy who took my call says yes, "100% he will be there today." By 5:03 I'm a wreck. The repair guy wasn't here yet, my husband and brother had to leave work to come help me, I took a day off to sit and wait 1-5 and no one came!! So I try calling the company to locate the guy, I was assuming if there was an issue that they would call me or my husbands cell (which they repeated back to me numerous times), and come to find out the office is closed! When I called the next morning I spoke with the most rude person I've ever spoke to with a customer service issue. I told him how upset I was that the guy never came or called to say he wasn't coming especially when I called the office that day. I was told that I was a liar and that the "GPS" said he came to my house & it was noted that he knocked and sat in my driveway for 4 minutes. When I told him that wasn't true he yelled at me saying, "ARE YOU CALLING MY GPS A LIAR?!" Well SIR, I guess if you want to go that far then yes. Cause I sat at my table by my front door with 2 other adults & 2 pit-bulls, I can tell you for a fact no one was ever in my drive and definitely no one knocked. I'm so digested with this company. They mysteriously hard to get a hold of (you don't know where they actually are located) as my calls were continually transferred around. I had a dishwasher repaired, for which the parts were under warranty. They wouldn't accept this though and made me pay 100% (part & labor). Now I am fighting with Samsung to get my refund for the part. In addition, the repair took only 10 minutes and for this, I was charged $199+tax for labor, although on the phone the prior day, the Williston rep told me minimum labor was $129+tax. The service man only stared at the dishwasher checked it out on his iPad and told me I had not bought the top-of-the-line model. I have been waiting for 4-5 weeks for a refund of $119.49 for the initial visit to my home. Samsung paid for all the labor and parts and for every week since August 9 I have called Williston TV. I have been told weekly that the refund was being mailed out that day and STILL it has not arrived. I spoke last to Jack on Aug 29 and it is now Sept 6. I spoke with Samsung today and in no uncertain terms let them know how Williston TV is not operating in good faith nor is it putting the interests of Samsung customers ahead of their own. My appt was from 8-12 but told Lowes that on their end it was 9-1 like they're in a different time zone. At 12:13 they called and and said we're sorry we not able to make our appointment after I had just called Lowes asking about them. I purchased a new Samsung dishwasher from BestBuy. It stopped working after 5 minutes. I called Samsung and they scheduled these people to come for a repair on a specific date, with a time window. I made sure I explained that I had to take time off of work to be there and that it needed to be repaired in one appointment. They called to confirm 2 days before... and NOBODY showed up. Then they called the DAY after, pretending that nothing happened and tried to schedule a new appointment. We called them to be told we were scheduled between 9 and 2. Short time later had a message saying they had to cancel. When we called back they said they no longer did 2 person repairs. Manager REFUSED to get on the phone, Lost 2 weeks without a washing machine before giving up on these incompetent people. They claim we'll be refunded our money but we'll have to wait and see.
