NOW this is what you call a good ass bake shop. Walked in to three friendly regular patrons and owner. Smelled heavenly in here. We asked about all the flavors and ingredients (due to certain allergies). Good to know that everything on display could be eaten. Presentation of the baked goods were on point. It felt good speaking with everyone and what their favorites are. Shared a few stories and felt like a family atmosphere. We began talking about how i love oatmeal cookies; but with no raIsins. To my surprise, I was presented with an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie ; lord have mercy was it so so good. Gooey, fresh, flavorful just right. I had to get some to take home for the Netflix binge. The chocolate chip cookie also was awesome. Semi-sweet with a hint of goodness. You can tell that love and time go into these treats. The cupcakes are off the chain too. Moist, good frosting, right size. You can tell that they were madE from scratch and don't have the boxed taste like some other bakeries. That makes all the difference. Quality to me is Job #1 and this place has it. The carrot is also good and i normally don't eat it, but this one is irresistibly good!! Lastly got a good cup of coffee, steamed milk, great beans. Better than many of these other places. Overall, they have some goodies for everyone. This will be my new go to for my sweet-tooth!! read more

back in 2011 I heard about Willow & Olivia from Elvis Duran and the Morning show on Z100 here in NYC, for the longest time I followed them, ordered cake pops, truffles, cakes, you name it, I ordered it. Now 7 years later they finally opened their brick and mortar location. OH. MY. GOD. where have you been all my life? crumb cake, blueberry crumb cake, black and white cookies, cupcakes, croissants, danishes, raspberry bars, its pastry and baked goods NIRVANA! When I tell you I bought one to two of everything I kid you not. I literally bought out the last two crumb cakes and the person behind me groaned in agony! Sorry lady! you snooze you loose! they say a little magic in every bite? More like a little bit of heaven or is that fairy dust (not that naughty stuff!) either way this stuff is AMAZING! Crumb cake, so moist and delicious, makes a mess everywhere (the only way to eat crumb cake) the raspberry almond bar? you can taste the amount of care and dedication that went into making that bar. The espresso? Top Shelf baby. I could spend a lazy afternoon in here getting my sugar high on. seating is adequate for parties and the bathroom is baby friendly!! changing table and all! street parking is available and they take plastic (Square) Can not wait to come back and buy them out again!! Met the owner and she's probably one of the sweetest kind hearted people I know. I always love supporting small family businesses. This place is run with love and passion. I was feening cake. So I yelped a bakery and with all of the great reviews I decided to drive 20 mins away from my house to try this place out. I ordered two cupcakes and a brookie. The chocolate cupcake was so moist and mmmmm. It did however have an overwhelming amount of frosting on it that I just tossed. I'm not really a frosting fan. But the cake itself was really good. Willow and Olivia a sweet journey The most whimsical boutique bakery! This gem is nestled in the Tory corner section of West Orange New Jersey. As you open the door you are greeted with the scent of baking spices and a feeling of comfort. The decor is a lively fairy theme. The offerings were definitely dreamy. There were huge fluffy cinnamon buns with just enough sparkly glazed to catch your eye. There was ever so moist and delicious crumb cake. I had to ask what was the secret ingredient, the reply was french butter. Yup that will do it every time. There were delicate and dainty red velvet cupcakes, and other stuffed cupcake flavors; dolce de leche, Nutella, Oreo cookie, double chocolate you name it they make it. Next up where the perfectly crumbled blueberry lemon bars and show stopping Snickers Cake oh and I can't forget the delicious signature brownies. Just when this fantastical sugar ride was over... They could have said "fresh baked will be ready in a few minutes" instead they ran in the back, got old cookies and SOLD them to me as if I wouldn't notice when I encounter a stale product. Very small shop. I had expected more options (I guess I was thinking it would be like the other bakery's around). I got the cookie and cream cupcake and the dulce de leche cup cake. I have to admit I felt they were a little pricy for a small cupcake (again, not like the other bakery's around town that I'm use to). HOWEVER, they were REALLY REALLY good, which was a very good surprise. Very moisture and delicious. I don't see myself coming often, because again a little pricy for a small cupcake. My wife found this bakery earlier this year and I am glad she did. Not only is the food amazing, but the prices are fair and the owner is very friendly and is hands-on with her business and provides excellent customer service. I'm attaching a photo of a cake we brought my dad for Father's Day this year and you can see from the picture the quality. But it didn't just look great. Even my picky parents were amazed at how great the cake tasted. And not just the cake itself, but the house made donuts were also phenomenal. During their soft opening, Jarrett held a pop up bagel shop that offered speciality spreads, including multiple varieties of homemade cream cheeses and an avocado vegetable mash. There was a continuous line down the block for bagels until they (unfortunately) sold out, so I'd call it a success! read more

I LOVE Willow and Olivia. Crumb cake is really, really good. I normally only care about the top of a crumb cake, but this is perfection, crumbs AND cake! I also got a cake for a baby shower. Beautifully decorated, and most importantly tasted delicious! Our guests raved about it. I ordered the special lactation cookies for my wife and she loved them. Did they help with lactation? Walked in here with my busy toddler fearing a snobby or hipster vibe but man was I wrong! The owner was my best friend by the time I left. The scone I ordered was delicious. Since then I've gone back for a few brownies, all amazing (the raspberry square thing was the best!) and ordered my mothers birthday cake. This bakery is outstanding. Great place to pop in for a delicious coffee and a sweet treat. Some of my favorites are the blueberry crumb cake and the banana pudding! The photo is from a cake Giana created for my parent's 60th anniversary. Everyone at the party raved about it! What an amazing little gem in West Orange. Really beautiful atmosphere and the customer service is exceptional. Their motto is "a little magic in every bite". How true it is! Delicious desserts! It is really hard to choose once you get there and see the options. But I showed some restraint and did not buy one of everything. I did try the coffee cake which was hands down the BEST I have ever had. I was almost upset by this, thinking about how I will not be able to resist it in the future. My friend had the chocolate croissant and she loved it. Couldn't help but also buy some cupcakes for the family and they were in heaven. They also have great coffee lover options. WORST CAKE EVER. We were mesmerized by the pictures on their website and decided to order from them and it was not good at all. It was for our one year olds birthday. We were offered cake for $45 and design with unicorn it was $70. After talking to my husband we decided to go for the $70 one. Long story short when the time came for our daughter to smash the cake she could barely scratch the surface. We had the cake in the fridge as we were told to do so; we kept the cake room temperature for couple hours and still nothing as it was HARD AS A ROCK. When we investigated the cake by cutting a slice we found out that the materials it was baked with were super cheap. The icing was cheap and the $25 extra we paid for unicorn was a fake unicorn that you can buy at a dollar store for $1- we assumed that it would have been made out of the icing..... Now we called the owner to explain this and said that we will be writing a bad review----- any reasonable business person and OWNER would say I am Sorry- what can I do to make it right.... HER RESPONSE- ARE YOU THREATENING ME??? I WILL TAKE YOUR BAD REVIEW DOWN from every WEBSITE just like I did other ones--/- HER EXACT WORDS......... Their customer service is just awesome! I ordered cake pops on a Sunday and absolutely needed them by the next weekend, so I emailed the store to ask for an estimate for shipping time. They were extremely helpful.. they even hand delivered the cake pops to ensure they wouldn't melt in transit and would arrive on time. After reading the reviews, I came here with my mom and niece and bought 4 cupcakes: 2 vanilla, 1 dolce and 1 chocolate. I also bought a crumb cake for my mom. My mom said the cake was very good and tasty. My niece loved her vanilla cupcakes and my chocolate cupcake was very good as well. The customer service was satisfactory and I got a parking spot right in front of the bakery (I think I was lucky). The bakery is also spotless and beautifully decorated with limited seating. Omg! They were so good. We had 30 of them shipped to my office in random flavors. I must say, they were moist and even though I am not a fan of white chocolate, whatever your recipe is - ROCKS. A trip to Willow and Olivia is one of my sons' favorite activities. They love going there and picking out a treat from cup cakes to cookies to brownies. Great experience with Willow and Olivia. Ordered cake pop centerpieces for a bridal shower, and centerpieces were delivered to my apt by nice staff member. Throughout the ordering process all questions were answered promptly and professionally. Best way to communicate with company was through email but person available by phone as well. Now to the good stuff, taste.... Yum!! Ordered choc&vanilla but only had chance to try chocolate. It was delicious! Decadent and rich but not overly sweet. They asked questions regarding my preferences that I forgot to mention; this ensured they gave me exactly what I was looking for. Third, when picking up the cake, the place was so charming that it was such a lovely place to grab dessert and coffee; I had to grab a cupcake and it was delicious. Fourth, the cake was a huge hit at the party; it was absolutely beautiful and matched the picture I asked for PERFECTLY. The fondant tasted delicious, like a marshmallow. Got a great cappuccino, excellent macarons at a great price (2 for $1.50) I tried a black&white cupcake and a red velvet cupcake, both had moist and delicious cake and flavorful frostings. Also got a maple pecan roll, which was very flaky and delicious as well. The only thing I have any criticism of would be that the croissant I got would have been better warmed up. Randomly walked in with my kids and got a few cupcakes, cookies and crumb cakes. My kids wouldn't even wait until we got home and devoured their cupcakes, and I ate the chocolate chip cookie. Now I know what people were talking about bc OMG. Might honestly be one of the best I have ever had. I couldn't even try the cupcakes because my kids finished every last bite.
