Road snacks we probably didn't need but somehow couldn't live without. Mission accomplished. Now, compared to some of the giant Buc-ee's locations, this one feels a little smaller. It's still enormous by normal gas station standards, but in the Buc-ee's universe, it's more of a midsize SUV than a monster truck. One disappointment was that the fried chicken and burritos weren't being served during our visit. That's like showing up to a baseball game and finding out the home team has the day off. Still, it's hard to be too critical. The store was clean. The selection was huge. The bathrooms were spotless, as expected. And somehow I walked in for gas and left with enough snacks to survive a minor natural disaster. That's the Buc-ee's experience. Four stars. Because even a smaller Buc-ee's is still better than about 99% of the gas stations you'll find on the road.
