Originally, we were only looking to restuff the cushions of our couch and love seat with firmer material (which are now extremely comfortable) but ended up also having him completely redo 6 kitchen chairs with new padding, new leather upholstery that matched the old perfectly, and rivets. The chairs look and feel amazing! Additionally, Al restored the leather on a 20 year old recliner and it looks like new. It was a pleasure to work with Al. He is extremely responsive and helpful, and the workmanship is top quality. We extended the life of every piece we brought him by years! The turnaround time was quick and I thought his prices were very fair. Would recommend him highly to anyone.

We've had the chairs for 10 years, but the are good quality (Room & Board) and lightly used. I initially planned on having arm covers made, and was still able to get the fabric from R&B. However after looking at them, Louis said he could simply replace one panel on each chair. It costs a bit more than the arm covers, but so glad I went this route. They look brand new again. I didn't find anything I like initially and Edgar brought more and recommended some that he thought I would like. He is absolutely right! He also replaced the cushions and made the chair super comfortable. I couldn't be happier. Thank you and would definitely use them again. As for price, I think they are fair. Fabric is very decent priced. After examining the chair, we decided it needed cushion replacement etc., so the labor cost doubled but still totally worth it imo!

Other pieces' woodwork to be reupholstered were similarly (infuriatingly) "touched up" without permission or need. Was told employee was apprenticing but a child could have done better. Delivered when father (suffering from Alzheimer's) was home. Get the upholstery done, refinishing elsewhere.
