If you want a breakfast plate this is the place to go! I almost went to McDonald's but after fining this place on Yelp I took the extra minute drive. It was well worth it! As I walked in, it look renovated and up to date with the decor. I got seated promptly by Tammy. Tammy was managing my table and a few others. The vibes of the place was my type, a mom and pops diner. Tammy suggested a pork ribeye but I proceeded with the half plate of steak ham! Oh brother was that a plate, I also ordered a pancake which was amazing. This place overall is a nice local diner, come in and support a small business. They recently renovated and it looks great. They were short staffed but we still had great service ! The breakfast is one of the best meals around and the price is very reasonable. We eat here at least once a month but I can see a lot of locals eating here more often. They also have events, live music and I imagine you could rent out the venue as well. Bathrooms are clean and if you want to split one of their huge breakfasts you can for a small fee. Perfect for our breakfast. read more

This is the biggest surprise for me. It's a little, modest little one story bar and restaurant that is a great place for Sunday night dinner too in addition to breakfast and lunch. It didn't look like the food would be really good but this is taking me back to the old style original local neighborhood good eats, great service, and nice clean bathrooms!! We ate here because my partner's band had a gig on a Sunday night to play from 5-8. I was impressed when I saw that the band was eating pork chops (full dinner with garlic toast, veggies, baked potatoes with the works (we are talking bacon, cheese, sour cream, and good old butter). Veggies weren't over cooked either! I ordered liver and onions because I was very much caught up in eating food from my misspent youth. It was very good. Not overcooked and that is amazing. This place is great I have not been there to try the actual food but I go at night when it kind of turns into a club. The appetizers are great though, the ceviche is really good. The service is amazing the waitresses are very attentive and always make sure we're good. The ambience is amazing I like the karaoke and the music that is played there. This location is SUPER lowkey and I see why they are. The menu here is HUGE, but so simple. Very affordable and the staff is super family orientated which we love. It is very small inside, but they also have an outside seating and to be honest either or is super accommodating. We were a party of 5 and everything we ate did not disappoint. I had the biscuit and gravy with bacon, eggs and a waffle on the side. I personally had to season my gravy, but I like that a lot only because I like how to season my own sausage and gravy. After I seasoned it, I demolished every bite of it. I also tried my husbands chicken fried steak and of course you can't mess that up. They also have two options of hash brown and both versions (country and shredded potatoes) are cooked perfectly unless you asked them super well done. The waffle its self was super fluffy and perfectly sweet with syrup drenched in it. We definitely make this our weekend spot as a treat only because they are closed by 7pm. Haven't gone here during dinner, but hopefully we can make it. Other than that, we've been here 3x's already and we stick to the breakfast only because we want to try everything - LOL! This old school cafe had a great waitress. She made sure orders were accurate before bringing plates out to the customers. The food could use some improvement. I got the biscuit with egg and gravy. The gravy was a nice consistency and they put plenty on the meal, but it lacked flavor. A little salt and pepper could improve this dish. I opted for refried beans instead of potatoes. The beans could have used a little more cooking and a bit of water to thin out, as they were quite dense. Again, the beans lacked flavor. The OJ just tasted bad. I've been here several times and have never given my review. This restaurant has been here since I can remember. It's on the side of a cemetery so you have to get past that. The parking lot is on the side by there's plenty of parking. There's outdoor seating and indoor seating. You wait for someone to seat you . There's a ton of booths . We went on Father's Day they were pretty busy. I like that they had the specials board as soon as you walk in. The menu is simple but it has a lot of good options. I ordered French toast and my husband ordered eggs, bacon,pancakes, and sausage. The portions are very generous. Everything tasted amazing and was very filling. You may wonder why I'd give this spot five stars. Because when you go to a local place like this, you know what you're signing up for. Arrived yesterday via Uber to grab a bite while I waited for my car service to be finished. Some rude lady yells were closed very rudely without any explanation. Then she proceeds to scream across the parking lot at two guys getting out of a truck that had pulled in before getting in her car and driving off. Attitude was not required and enough to make me say I will never be back. Long time customer (since I was a kid, now I am almost 40) with Murray. Was going to give the new owners a try but after yesterday experience I won't be back. I don't expect them to stay in business for long. read more

It was a busy Saturday morning and they were short staffed (like everyone it seems these days) but she kept that beautiful smile on and had us all laughing and happy to wait for our orders (which really wasn't very long after all).
