Was not happy that I was given the run around about my jeep being repaired, and nothing was completed after keeping it for over 6 weeks. I called and spoke to the service dept and asked if they could look at an electrical issue. He told me they could but not till the following monday. I dropped my jeep off 2 days early and every time I called, they had their guy on a different vehicle. I asked for a new key to be cut, an estimate on a rear axle seal, and look at my emergency brake....nothing was done in six weeks. I was leaving to move to florida, gave them weeks notice when I needed the jeep back. The day before I needed to pick the jeep up, they decided to take the jeep apart. Service manager asked me to leave it and he would take care of me. I had to drive 12 hour round trip and rent a trailer to come pick my jeep up, paid full price for what they had done and was just told sorry. I will not be back, I do not recommend and they was given the opportunity to make this right. It is now at another shop to get repaired and now I wait again. read more

Saw a car I liked on car gurus, made an appointment for the following day. Upon getting to the dealer, they had told me they sold the car yesterday (same day i made an appointment). I was told the online manager made the appt and he isn't one of the sales rep to sell me the car, so they appointed someone for me. This online agent also lowballed me on my trade in. After I supplied the KBB, he back tracked and said they would honor the pricing. This already rubbed me wrong about this dealer. A courtesy call would have been nice. After waiting a half hour to be seen by my newly appointed sales rep, I went over what I was looking for and my max mileage desired. He comes back with a model with 35k over what I specified. At this point, I was ready to leave. I said "here's what I'm looking for, if you can get it, give me a call and I will purchase". I wait in the lobby as he tries and finds what i'm looking for. He hands me a carfax of the model i'm looking for. I told him great thanks, let me review it and I will give you message back. As i'm walking in the parking lot, my sales rep tells me they will honor the trade price and will do what's necessary to earn my business. I go home, review the carfax and decide I would like to move forward. I sent a total of 4 emails to 3 different contacts over the course of 4 days. I messaged my sales agent directly as well. I recently purchased a new-to-me Chrysler vehicle and wanted to start off its life right by keeping on top of the service schedule as well as any warranty work or maintainence required. Where I live, there are a couple of other dodge/jeep/chrysler dealerships within 15 min of my house. However, their ratings are consistently terrible (like 2/5 stars). My previous vehicle was a dodge product and I used these local dealerships with mediocre results. I knew with my new car I wasn't going to risk mediocre work or service. The only other option was Wilson. They are 40 min away. For some thats a deal-breaker, for me, their very high rankings made it worth a shot. I wasn't disappointed. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The communication was top notch. When you call, somebody answers on the first ring almost every time. I had to take my new car in for warranty work and they went above and beyond to make everything right. My service manager was amaizing. She kept me up to date with the status of the work being done with informative and punctual phone calls. Honestly, I haven't seen professionalism and customer service this good in a very long time. I will be keeping Wilson as my dealership and service provider even though they are not close. They are worth the drive. read more

I made a deal to get my kid his first car. They sold the car after they said it was a deal. Bad business to say the least. It wasn't till after I sent my driver's license and you could see me is when they sold a car to a better candidate. I understand about race equality something in there approach isn't right. I contacted the sales manager and he try to soothe us with a car we didn't ask for. Best advice is to keep your race to yourself cause it doesn't matter who has the money it's who they pick. read more

Actually, I was reluctant to write this one. Knowing there are 3 sides to every story. Yours, theirs and the true reality is somewhere in the middle, no one is totally right. No one ever really wins either. Having been in the food service business for over 20 years, I owned multiple food establishments. I learned early on rule #1, "the customer is always right". Rule #2 if the customer is wrong, see rule #1. At times it was difficult to live by those rules, ultimately I always made out with the customer walking out with a smile. They always came back and brought additional customers. This past June (2020) I found my forever truck. A 2016 Ram Laramie Ecodiesel 4×4 w/ 21k miles. I felt like I found a pot of gold. It had all the bells and whistles that I ever wanted plus additional features that I love. I drove 2 1/2 hours one way to see the truck. Immediately, I had to have it. I negotiated the price down 1k and if they pushed back I probably would have paid full price. I wanted it, there was really no salesperson even needed. Lets give credit, George Thompson. Back and forth with some financing, I was upside down with my trade a 2019 Ram Laramie 4×4 gas quad cab. Didn't like it from the day I bought it. That's my fault. I put 10k down for the 2016 to buy down the note and all was moving smoothly. Again, I drove 2 1/2 hours (one way) to pick up the truck. I signed all the documents with the George. Even the form that states "nothing promised, owed or implied", not the exact verbiage. On to finance, no problem. The guys at the counter were nice as well. As I was leaving, George asked, "do you have the second FOB" I looked at him and replied "you only gave me one" I pulled the second FOB from my pocket and said, "Are you going to get me a second FOB?" He said "yes, I'll take care of it and order one for you", I'll call you when it comes in at the end of the month. I handed him my second FOB, did a fist bump and said good bye to all. You ready, here we go...The finance department misplaced the payoff info for the trade and I had to make a payment on the truck I didn't have anymore. Two truck payments for the month. I understand, it happens, no big deal. Yes, I received a refund. The end of the month came and went with no call on the FOB. Funny thing, the day I called the last week of July is the same day the FOB arrived, coincidence, or forgetful? I asked George to mail it to me and he said "you will still have to take to a dealer near you to program it for a cost in the neighborhood of $80 + or -". All the big dealers are close by me, they just didn't have the truck I wanted. I told him "I'd get back to him in a day, don't give away the FOB". Either way, $80-$100 no big deal. Why drive 5 hours to save $100, not really worth it. My wife and I were going to see friends in Virginia, I called and told George I'd detour say hello, say thanks and have him program the FOB as well, I had a Wednesday appt at 8am. 3 hour detour. I arrived, checked in and I had to disconnect my trailer to perform the service, no problem. The lady at the service desk asked if this was part of the deal. I said yes, George knows about it. Then I asked to see him and they told me he retired a few days ago, oh boy..Minutes later she comes out with the paper I signed that says nothing promised. You will have to pay for the FOB and programming. I said call George, he'll set it straight. Wow, no answer. Didn't see that coming. I said "I wouldn't drive 3 hours out of my way to pay for something I could get accomplished 15 minutes from my house. George said he would take care of it." I got frustrated and said "It's not the sales that really matters, it how you take care of the customer after the sale that counts." All I got back were stoic faces. They didn't offer any suggestions or adjustments at all. I used some expletives and the man the desk, Vern (?) said "if you're going to act like a child, leave. He made ZERO effort to diffuse or correct the problem. No effort to save a customer or future customers. Even before I became frustrated, the whole aura was that he didn't care. That's why I'm writing this negative review. A salesman came out and said it wasn't right. He gave me the owners number, as I called, the service lady was talking to the owner and he said go by the paper. Zero effort. As I was hooking my trailer back up, the tech that drove my truck out said they were wrong for treating me that way, zero options. I took the cinder block they gave me to hold the trailer and flipped it away. It hit the ground and broke in pieces. I was going to leave the a $20 bill for that, then I thought nope. Should I have had them tear up that paper and issue another form stating the FOB? Absolutely, the excitement of getting a vehicle I really wanted overtook me, my fault. Wilson, you are exactly like the other dealers who show that customers are a burden of the day instead of the purpose, that's your fault. read more
