My daughter and I stayed at the Manor for a night while wine tasting in the area, and had a wonderful experience! We were greeted by Sherri with a glass of champagne, and she gave us a tour of the property. She was so friendly, and we felt like family immediately. We stayed in the Merlot room, and it was beautifully decorated and immaculate. After wine tasting at the Wilson Creek Winery, we returned for the wine and cheese hour. The spread was amazing, and no shortage of great wine! We met Abby, and she was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the jacuzzi in the evening, and found the beds very comfortable. The next morning we saw the hot air balloons from our balcony, then went down to the kitchen where Abby greeted us with a great spread of pastries, fruit, coffee and, of course, mimosas! We asked Abby about the history of the property, and she brought out a book with the photos of the home prior to the renovation done by the Wilson family. It gave us even more appreciation for the beauty and tasteful decor of the property now. This location is a perfect place to stay when you want to enjoy the many wineries in the area. Stayed here in mid-July 2014. Our folks were flying in from German wine country and we wanted to show them what our wine country was like in SoCal. But after searching for a place that would accommodate our 9-month-old baby, our hopes of finding a place to stay for a few nights with our baby were low as no other winery in the area accepted children. Abbey (the manager at Wilson Creek Manor-she's awesome!), however, was able to accommodate us and save our vacation. High points for this place: -Wilson Creek Winery is big on family and this claim is not just a gimmicky publicity stunt but it is real. They welcomed our entire family to include our baby. -Friendly staff. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They made sure that we had what we wanted and needed and went our of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We felt like we had known them for years. -Great rooms, common areas (clean, spacious, organized, nicely decorated) and grounds that we were able to enjoy, to include the nice pool. -Great almond wine. We were welcomed with some of this stuff (good stuff) and had some for breakfast too. It was awesome. -We got tickets for wine tasting across the street at the Wilson Creek Winery which I highly recommend a trip to. For us, it was one of the better wineries in the area. Very large, beautiful, lively, awesome food, and a great friendly atmosphere. We showed up on a day when they did not do tours of the winery but one of the managers made time for us to show us around. This was GREATLY appreciated as our folks came all the way from Europe to see this place and wouldn't have gotten to see the tour otherwise if it hadn't been for the wonderful staff at the winery. The selection at breakfast could be improved upon and I am sure it will be in the future, but everything else was awesome. This place is great. read more

I stayed at the Manor the night before and the night of my wedding, and it was an amazing experience. I booked the bridal suite and it was an absolute dream. It's absolutely gorgeous, and definitely built for those lovely getting ready shots all brides need. The stay included a complimentary bottle of champagne, tasting tickets, and continental breakfast. Abby and Sherri are very hospitable and gracious hosts. Both mornings, I came down to be greeted with smiling faces and a yummy mimosa. I was also very impressed with the housekeeping staff because on the day of my wedding, we left the room a mess after getting ready and my photo/video team practically rearranged it to get the shots they needed. But when my husband and I came back to the room the night of our wedding, everything was cleaned, the sheets were changed, and the furniture all put back into place so that we could have nice, relaxing ambiance to rest. I can't thank Abby enough for being amazing and making our stay comfortable. We hope to come back sometime soon, possibly for our 1-year anniversary! read more

We attended a concert at the winery and was fortunate to book a room at the Manor. What an incredible time we had. Abby is an amazing host and goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and you get the most out of your stay. Abby was at the venue until late in the evening and made sure everyone got a shuttle back to the Manor, She was at the Manor early the next morning at breakfast. She took the time to speak to each guest to see how their stay was. She obviously enjoys her job and Wilson Creek/ Manor certainly have a gem! An amazingly beautiful, spacious and welcoming stay. Abby and Sherri are two of the most delightful ladies that made our recent stay Incredible. From the time we decided to reserve the manor Abby and Sherri were so accomodating and very helpful. Having reserved the entire manor for our guests was the best thing we did. Our guests could not stop complimenting how beautiful the manor is. The staff was awesome and guests kept saying how great everything was. My husband and I recently stayed two nights at the Manor and had a wonderful time. It was comfortable, convenient, and the staff was excellent. We had a problem with our air conditioner the first night--too cold--and as soon as we mentioned it, it was immediately fixed. The wine and cheese gathering each evening was fun--it was nice to chat with the other guests--and the continental breakfast was lovely. Some reviews mention the need for some TLC to the home itself, and while we agree, it in no way negatively affected our enjoyment. Abby and Sherry were wonderfully attentive and offered to book massages, tours, etc. We'll definitely be heading back to the Manor in the not too distant future. read more

This would be a perfect venue for any type of family reunion. It is one huge house to play games, eat, or watch movies together, but there is also the ability to close your door and have privacy, if needed. There's a huge lawn that would be great for a backyard wedding or a picnic. While staying there, it didn't feel like we were at a hotel; it felt more like we were spending the night at a friend's house. They welcomed us with a glass of champagne, and guests are welcome to roam through the living room, entertainment center and kitchen as they please. Service was very friendly, and they even offered to leave me a plate of cheese for when we returned from a friend's wedding. The furnishings are luxurious, but it doesn't feel pretentious... they weren't cheap on the quality of towels either, which is a bonus! The parking lot isn't paved, but you can expect that at almost every winery. One thing I noticed is that blow dryers and irons are not in the room, but you can request them or go out in the hallway and get it (their welcoming package tells you where spare blankets, towels, etc can be found). Had the opportunity to stay at the Manor with my wife and it was a fabulous experience. The Manor Manager Abby couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful (she actually made sure there were Gluten Free foods available for me) and the facility itself is 5 star. The Manor is a great place to stay as a couple for a relaxing, romantic quick get away but even more impressive is the potential for a wedding event. With 9 rooms, fantastic common areas (including a huge, beautiful living room, fully equipped commercial kitchen, game room, expansive open grass area with gazebo and inviting pool/spa area), privacy and attentive, welcoming staff, this would be an ideal base location for guests coming to a "destination" wedding and the related activities (such as a rehearsal dinner) and the rates are incredibly reasonable for what you receive! read more

The Syrah suit was very nice and the bed was super comfortable. With our stay we received a bottle of wine and vouchers for two wine tastings each (because we stayed two nights) and a voucher for lunch at the Wilson Creek Grill. What an amazing deal! My husband and I also really enjoyed the wine & cheese hour both evenings and had fun drinking wine and chatting with new people. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Manor recently. Sherry and Abbey went out of their way to see that we were comfortable and well taken care of. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool and the minimal work-out facility. The light breakfast was perfect only to be out done by the free wine and cheese at 1700. All I can say is Wow! I have stayed in many amazing places but this is one of my all time best! I felt like I was living a "life of the rich and famous" for just one day! The Manor and grounds are beautiful...from the 9 unique bedrooms all with private bath...to all the special room touches (robes/wine/chocolate/coffee maker)....to the beautiful outdoor area with fire pit/pool it was all spectacular! Abby, the manager couldn't be more accommodating and is an incredible asset to the whole experience! Her evening wine/cheese/appetizer happy hour was great! Not only was she a perfect host at the manor but she was extremely helpful assisting with local transportation/restaurants/wine tasting and all the area had to offer. She made our stay extra special! Trisha was also a gem and we thoroughly enjoyed her breakfast including Mimosas! What a way to start the day! After many years in sales and service, I was so happy to see the pride these 2 amazing girls have in the Manor and how they go out of their way to make sure it is a special experience for all! Perfection, from the moment we were graced with Abby & Sherrie's sparkling smiles/champagne to about 20 hrs later when we left, feeling relaxed & rejuvenated, ready to book another perfect getaway at Wilson Creek Manor (which is what I just did). Wilson Creek Winery has been my favorite Temecula winery from my first visit many years ago, so I booked a night right after Thanksgiving for an anniversary celebration. The manor itself is breath-taking and gorgeous, yet remarkably comfortable and cozy at the same time. We booked the Syrah Suite and felt like we'd been transported to Tuscany. While there, we viewed the majority of the suites and each was beautifully, uniquely and tastefully decorated. Many extra's including wine-tasting at the winery were included, but my favorite was the wine and cheese reception hosted by Abby and Sherrie, two lovely, warm & accommodating ladies who made us all feel special and like family (but the kind of family you WANT to be around). The reception is where we met our fellow Manor-mates. Initially I was a bit concerned that we would be sharing the 12,000 sq.ft. with other Manor guests, however, that was definitely the best and most memorable part. We had the pleasure of hanging out with some of the absolutely coolest people ever, which made for an amazingly entertaining, enjoyable and memorable LATE evening. My only regret was not getting up in time to enjoy the continental-PLUS breakfast with the other guests. I could go on and on but for time sake suffice it to say that the Wilson Creek Manor experience was, in every respect, nothing short of perfection. read more

We arrived early and the staff, Yolanda, Jael and Eric greeted us warmly and took our bags and promised to prepare our room first. We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. Our room, the Champagne Suite, was appointed in soft, pleasing colors with lots of light coming in through the west facing windows. Glennie served wine and h'ors D'ouvres at 5 with a warm smile and helpful attitude. Abby, our hostess, arrived early the next morning to set up a continental breakfast. She joined us for a chat at our breakfast table, making the experience akin to visiting personal friends at their gorgeous manor house. The great room had beautiful wine themed tapestries and chairs and couches where you sank deep in to blissful comfort. The Manor combined elegance and comfort in a warm, personal environment. Do plan to celebrate a special occasion. Oh- let's not forget the free tasting at the Wilson Creek Winery across the road and the complimentary bottle of wine. read more
