Reaching out to this business was straight-forward, I emailed them and a kind woman called me by phone to setup an appointment. With any questions that she didn't know the answer to, she redirected me to email it so an electrician can better answer my question. I had my appointment scheduled and the gentleman, Doc, was assigned to perform the inspection. Doc arrived on-time, was detail oriented in his inspection, and was very patient to explain his findings and recommendations on what were a safety concern first, and what could be addressed later. He explained things over the phone thoroughly and explained his thought process and was open to any questions I had without being annoyed. Within a day, I received his inspection report, a quote for the project/repairs needed, and pictures of the inspection. He was also easy to reach by text. Doc was professional, courteous, and responsive. The cost of the inspection, I think, was a decent value. I highly recommend Veteran Electric to anyone seeking a safety electrical inspection and I hope I'm able to say the same about their quality of work when I hire them for electrical projects. Was told I would receive an e-mail with the quote the next day (which was a Friday) or early the following week. I waited until the next Tuesday to give a call back at which point the administrator said she hadn't received anything and would follow up. Okay, I get it, so I wait until the Friday to call back. Upon calling back Friday (a week and a day after tech was out), the person still says she doesn't have the quote and that she will follow up again... I understand, not her fault. I call again the next Tuesday and ask what's going on at which point she says she e-mailed me after I called last week. I didn't receive the e-mail and asked her to send again, at which point she confirmed my e-mail address which she had incorrectly so she updated and resent to my proper e-mail address. I saw the quote and verbally asked her when she could get someone out. She proceeds to tell me a lot of customers approved their quotes over the weekend and that she was behind on scheduling. At this point I had been waiting for 2 weeks since the technician originally came out (when I was hoping they could have fixed the system at that point) and I was beginning to get frustrated. I politely asked if the repairs to my system could be moved up since I had been waiting so long just to receive the quote and was basically told that's not how it worked... At this point I was getting irritated so I called another company. BOY AM I GLAD I DID! I called Natural Concepts to see if they could fit me into their schedule and they told me they could send a team out the following day. Natural Concepts went above and beyond. Not only were their technicians extremely professional, they repaired the mistaway mosquito system within the hour they were there and additionally fixed my landscaping lights that had a wire that needed to be repaired. On top of how prompt and great NATURAL CONCEPTS was, the amount they charged to fix the mosquito system AND fix my landscape lighting was less than half the price of Unique Outdoor's quote. I would have never known how great Natural Concepts was had Unique Outdoor not treated me like a customer whose business they didn't want. I am now signed up on the calendar service with Natural Concepts. To recap: I followed up several times with Unique Outdoor to have them make repairs to my Mistaway system, they didn't respond to me timely and once they realized there was an issue did not rectify their lack of attentiveness by scheduling me in line with when I should have received my quote.
