If I had the option to give this company zero stars I would. Super unreliable and cannot be trusted. Do NOT use this company!! I just recently got into a car accident, three days before my college graduation and I was devastated. Like many other complaints on here , CHP had dispatched AAA for me because I do have their membership. When the tow truck driver came and loaded my car I had asked him to take my car to my mechanics, a perfectly zoned area and body shop fully capable of storing my vehicle. The truck driver repeatedly said that policy states he needs to take the car to their yard. The only information I got out of him was because it was in an accident he had no choice but to take it there, no more. I had asked him a total of three times if I was getting charged for anything, because I've heard of these instances before. To all three times I had asked, his responses were no you won't be charged for any of it because it is all covered under AAA membership. There were dozens of times I tried calling the office of the company and they would just put me on hold right away for 15 minutes. I went into AAA the morning of my graduation and the lady had explained that on her end, the call for a tow was cancelled. The whole incident is super sketchy and AAA needs to drop this company immediately. When I had gone down to the yard only two days after it being there to get my car out, they wanted to charge me $900 CASH in order to get it out along with another $600 to tow it to my mechanics. Now I'm getting a letter in the mail saying they're going to Lein sale it in a month. A couple weeks later, on June 11 my boyfriend had gotten into an accident and CHP had also dispatched AAA for him. Unfortunately, a Wind n Sea tow truck came out. My boyfriend had asked to take it to the same location of the mechanics and right away the truck driver says that it's totaled and that it was leaking a bunch of fluid (when in reality there was literally just a drop or two) and then preceded to say he wouldn't take it to the mechanics because the shop was closed and that someone needed to be there to receive the keys. My bf had stated that there was a Dropbox for the keys and that he would even drive down there himself and that there's been numerous times AAA has dropped off a car without anyone receiving the keys. The driver continued to argue so that's when my bf had gotten the sheriff involved. Even the sheriff had said that he has never heard of AAA having those kind of policies in to which the driver had given up and did what my bf had asked. I hope reading these bad reviews on this company helps out other people before making the same mistake. **Extremely Frustrating Experience - Poor Communication from Dispatcher** I recently requested a tow and was initially told it would take about an hour. Being stranded on the side of the road is stressful enough, and every minute feels much longer when you're stuck with no updates. After the hour passed and no tow truck arrived, I waited an extra five minutes before calling for an update. Unfortunately, the dispatcher was not reassuring or helpful--he didn't know the truck's location and put me on hold for over five minutes. When he returned, he told me it would be another 45 minutes. I waited again, only to have even more time pass with no arrival. I called back, and once again the dispatcher had no useful information, didn't offer an apology, and failed to provide any proactive communication. He simply told me it would be 15 more minutes. At this point, I considered calling other companies, but I had already waited so long that I feared starting over would only make the situation worse. On my third call, I specifically asked that the driver contact me directly. I finally received a call 45 minutes later, only to find out the dispatcher had given the driver the wrong location--he was an exit past me. Thankfully, the tow truck driver himself was professional, kind, and apologetic. He quickly reassured me and got me taken care of as soon as he arrived. He was the only positive part of this experience. That said, the dispatcher's lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service made a stressful situation much worse. Not receiving updates or accurate information for several hours was completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend retraining the dispatcher or replacing them to prevent others from going through the same ordeal. read more

First and foremost when I called them and I asked them to bring me diesel fuel they filled my diesel engine with gasoline which completely destroyed it the first time they said they flushed everything and fixed everything and that was not true because by the time I got home my engine stopped working and my car shut down. This is made my life in some ways more complicated but I want to explain I run my business from my car right now my car is everything and they've had it for about a month now and yet they haven't fixed anything they keep giving me the runaround game so now I will be seeking legal action on their company and AAA if I were you I'll never go when and see towing or call AAA because at the end of the day I blame both of them for this problem don't ever call the Paris store and ask for Rhody or Oscar or Renee because none of them care all they're going to do is put you on hold and give you the runaround if it was their vehicle and their business was in a vehicle I'm sure they feel the same way but they can care less to help someone who's struggling not only do they put gasoline in my diesel engine but then they had the audacity to have me start siphoning it myself with a hose that's completely unprofessional first they ru read more

In my opinion horrible. Horrible. Liars. I do not recommend. They promised to tow my car within an hour, but instead made me wait 5.5 hours! They lied to me saying they didn't know AAA had arranged a tow for me. And they lied to AAA saying they would pick me up on time. They put me on hold for 15-20 minutes refusing to explain to me why they were late. At one point, AAA arranged a tow with another company. That company received a call from someone impersonating AAA canceling the tow, delaying my tow even more. I suspect it was Wind and Sea who had canceled the tow, impersonating AAA, because it happened after I told Wind and Sea that I refused to do business with them and I told them the name of the other company. No one else knew the name of the other company and details about my tow. What sort of unethical person would intentionally delay my tow even further by canceling my tow!!!! DISGUSTING DOESN'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO DESCRIBING HOW DESPICABLE THEY ARE. In my opinion, Wind and Sea Towing is a despicable company run by unethical and disgusting liars. I needed a battery but, I needed a jump start so I could buy a battery. Chris came out through AAA. His ETA time was 30 minutes and he showed up in 14. I was impressed. He was very professional and so knowledgeable. He put my car on the little machine. It was a relief to know my issues were just my battery. He saved me by having my battery on their battery/service truck, this company is very prepared, plus the cost of the battery was much cheaper than all the shops around. AAA contracted this company to tow my son car from are house to a shop 8 miles away. Had a appointment 9.30 for pickup Driver finally shows up 5.45 we only had 15 minutes to get there before the repair shop closed for the day. So the driver drops off the car at the shop ,and doesn't tell the shop that the car is there and takes are keys with him. Refuse to come back and return keys until the next day.
