I called AAA at 8:24am, received notification from the agent that a driver from Wind and Sea has been dispatched and should arrive by 9:25am. When they didn't show up at 9:25, I looked on the eta from the text it updated to 10:39-11:01am. Still, here I sit and now the ETA is 1:15pm... finally got fed up and called an independent tow service, they showed up within 30 minutes and last I checked before I canceled the service call through AAA, I would have been sitting until 3:31, if not longer. I was dispatched this company when using AAA for a battery jump. My car ended up needed more than a battery jump and when I called back for a tow, the driver was more than helpful. The manager Rody even called to personally see that our driver got to use and even comped one of the calls since it was an hour later. I needed another tow the following morning and requested wind n sea. When the driver found out we were crunched for time, he made sure to get our car where it needed to be. We had been in an accident yesterday where we had called AAA and we wanted to get our damaged car towed from the location of the accident to our residence. This was from Perris, CA to Covina,CA which is about 51 miles and we have 100 mile coverage with AAA. We had called for towing but someone from Battery services arrived. He told us he was called "accidentally" by AAA to take a look at out car. He took some pictures to "show that battery service wasn't needed". We called AAA again in order to get a tow truck and said someone was being sent. 3 hours later (literally) we call AAA again so we could get the number of the dispatcher from Wind and Sea Towing because they were taking way too long. When we call Wind and Sea towing they tell us they can't tow our car because it is too damaged from the pictures Battery Service took. How convenient! They told us we have to pay if we wanted to get our car towed. The SAME CAR that could not he towed because it wasn't "safe". Make up your mind man! It can't be towed because it wasn't "safe" and we have to pay in order for it to be "safely" towed. We are upset at this point and we are flabbergasted at all these positive reviews this company is receiving. I know this isn't AAA but if AAA is associating themselves with these scammers then they need to rethink how to keep their customers happy and provide solutions. AAA sent them the call and they were at my house in under 10 minutes. I've never had a call answered that fast. The guy was nice. He changed out my battery, got my tires inflated correctly, and even got down on the floor to remove the rest of my skid plate that had fallen off the right side. He really made my day. Then his manager called me and asked how the service was and if I was happy. I was, definitely! AAA sent this company to tow our Ram Promaster 2500 van conversion from Escondido to Oceanside. It's 20 miles and they charged $700 for the tow. Since AAA's policy had a limit of $500, I had to pay the difference. The driver cited inflation, gas prices, and vehicle size (19 ft long, 8900 lbs) as basis for cost. I understand prices have increased but $700 to tow 20 miles is absurd and seems to be price gauging. Had I known beforehand, I would've shopped around. read more

This is a terrible company! They are liars and they don't care about people at all. I called for a tow through AAA and got the unfortunate dealing with, Wind n Sea Towing. I started the call at 1:01 PM there responsed with a text they were going to come pick me up at 3:15 PM. Then another text arriving at 2:28 PM. they never showed up, called AAA again they sent out another Text letting me know they be there at 3:08 PM. They never showed up. call AAA they told me that they canceled my pick up because they drove by and told AAA that my car was totaled. That was a downright lie. I was on a road that had very few cars drive by and never did a tow truck of Wind n Sea Towing ever drive by! ask AAA to please send me another tow truck by a different company again I got another text from Wind n Sea coming to pick me up at 6:17 PM. Had to call AAA again. They stated that they canceled the tow. Asked for another tow again. Got a text stating Wind n Sea was coming at 9:33 PM. They never showed. Because of their lie about my vehicle that it was totaled AAA believed in them what they had to say. I was stranded there until 8 PM in the dark. This company has the county of Parris CA. Needed towing through AAA so they assigned Enrique Mejia at Wind N Sea Towing to do the service I requested for. ETA was 11:17AM then right at 11:17AM the time went up to 2:15 PM. Tried reaching out to this company and right away the male on the phone yelled to "hold on" and then hung up, I get that they might have been busy or understaffed but I kept trying to get in contact since the ETA keeps going up and I can't get help now. I don't get how this place gets to run a business so unprofessionally and get away with all the bad business they give. AAA needs to contract other companies that are actually competent in helping customers and not just focus on taking people's money and being a corrupt business like Wind n Sea Towing. read more

I recently had to get my car towed due to mechanical failures, leaving the car not running. I called this company to reuqest a pickup to take it down to my local dealership and I must say I am highly disappointed in their characteristics. Jesus whom I spoked to was supposed to pick up my car at a set time only for him to be 2 hours late. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and stuck with the arrangement. I was notified once my car was delivered to the dealership only to find out the driver was inconsiderate of my car and the dealerships wishes. My car was damaged and now I am paying out of my own wallet to repair the damages. My front lip and side skirts were damaged (my car is lowered). I never had this problem before with any other towing company. I feel highly disrespected and will never be associating with this company again. They only got 1 star because ouredrive was kind to us. I don't even know where to begin. This company is by far the worst tow company I have ever dealt with. They double charge me on a basic tow. They charge 590 dollars for a basic tow that was picked up on Thursday night so when we went t9 pick it up we also had to pay 2 days storage at 85 dollars a day which that I could except because they go by calendar day and 24hr day so acceptable but the over charge on a basic tow is not. When I spoke with the manager and asked for a breakdown he then got rude and aggressive with me I then asked for the owner and was told he couldn't give me his number so I asked if he could reach out to him and give my number and then he said he was out of town. I said ok sothen should I call the sherrif? Which I wasadvised to by another tow company, then manager then got really upset and started cursing at me and when my husband got on the phone he then threatened my husband saying he knew were our family lives he has our address and our car. So I called the sherrif for a an escort to retrieve our vehicle the sherrif was taking to long so we went to go in with out the to get inside before they closed and they closed the gates on us at 4:42 and wouldn't let us in when they didn't close until 5. We finally got our car out after waiting for over 8hrs for the sherrif. This place is absolutely horrible I would never recommend them to anyone or ever use them again!!!!! They really need to be shut down or definitely lose their AAA contract because this originally started out on a AAA call!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!! I was in a real pickle. Flat tire, locked lug nuts, no lug nut key. Fernando came to my assistance but we couldnt get the lug nuts off He was so sweet. No hurry. Aired me up so I could make it to auto zone to buy thr key. The AAA call was cancelled which I appreciated bc I'd have to call again from Auto Zone. I had already bought 3 keys but they didnt fit. (If it think ahead...) I bought another one hoping it will fit. It didnt. So there I was in the parking lot staring at my phone with the tire now deflated again, when Martin, an angel, approached me to offer help. From the same company! He had overheard my dilema at the register. He made the calls to disbatch who took carr if the AAA , and picked out a key. In the store that he said he could work with. He hammered it on and VOILA! The tire was off and the spare was on!!! This new company out of San Diego is wonderful, 2 exceptional service techs amd sounds like a great owner at the helm. Restored my faith in humanity a notch. Horrible company. Called AAA at 9:30am, The first guy (Allan) was supposed to be there for 10:51am, no show. Called AAA again, they tell me 90minutes. Time goes by, nothing. Call AAA again (1pm), second guy (Fernando) was supposed to be there at 12:08pm. Then they say another 45 minutes. Third guy (Julian) finally shows up (1:36pm), hooks my car and leaves. I show up an hour later to the Lake Elsinore Ford which is 20-25 minutes from my house and the guy hadn't even gotten there yet. Not to mention my battery was COMPLETELY dead when he got there which means he left the key in my ignition during his hour long drive! If you can, request a different towing company. This company is a joke! I contacted AAA to have my car towed after a car accident. They lied saying that AAA doesn't handle car accidents wanted to charge me $300 to tow my car. They then stored my car without my consent in there storage yard. This company refused to give me access to car to get my personal belongings, I had to contact Perris Police Department in order to gain access. I'm truly not sure why AAA is willing to still work with these people. The man that towed my car his name was Julian and he even walked away when I was talking to him and shut the door in my face. My buddy called for a tow cause he classic car broke down in my drive way. Call AAA to come get the car driver should up and had an attitude right off the bat. Driver canceled the call after I asked him to move the tow truck show I could get the car out of my garage. I've used them 4 times. Half of which were good. I had to file a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair. Here is it the complaint. BEWARE I had AAA send out Wind and Sea Towing to replace my Car battery. The company sent out a young man named David who goes by "Pacemaker" This young man was having a difficult time putting the battery in as it was in the trunk  in a tight spot. After fiddling with it for awhile he got it. We went to shut the trunk and it wouldn't close He took some time to adjust it. He finally did the best he could and the car was okay.  I actually have this incident documented on the company's Google reviews with the date I posted it being the same say as the service or a day after . Within a week or two, I was making a right hand turn and the car turned off mid turn. I pulled over and put the car In park and turned it off and on. It worked. Mind you the car has never done this until now. I don't pay it much mind. The car continues this for the next 4 months. It happened 4 other times always caused by a turn or accelerating from a stop light. This brings me to yesterday (Monday, September 13, 2021) When I was driving home, the car did this turn off again. I got it going again but it did it again, and again, and again. I finally decided to pull over and have it towed home where I would have a mechanic on sight ready to take a look at it. I call AAA again and they send out Wind And Sea Towing again. The company was able to drive up on the the bed of the truck. It did die while doing this, but he was able to get it up. We drove 8 miles and when we went to drop the car, my mechanic noticed the car had lost all power and was extremely smokey. After taking a look at everything, he found out the battery had been shifting the entire time as "pacemaker" had never bolted it down and wasn't placed in the car properly. Everytime the car shut off was because the battery had shifted, had the terminal on the battery touch the metal hinge of the trunk and ground out. There are arc marks on the trunk hinge to show exactly where it was touching. This time It was actually wedged against the hinge, causing all that smoke and the car to lose power completely. I was told to take a video of exactly how the battery was found and of the arc marks to show the company that installed it. The mechanic disconnected the battery after the video was filmed so the trunk could be shut without the battery touching the hinge and causing it to smoke. Today I called Wind and Sea Towing and explained to the manager what happened. I gave him exact names, times, locations and dates. He asked me to send the video of how the battery was when we opened the trunk and he would call me back to get it all taken care of. 3 hours had passed by and I hadn't received a phone call. I called him again and I asked him what was going on? He said he hasn't forgotten about me and he has been busy and will get back with me within an hour. I called back after 2 more hours to get ignored each and every time. Ive been informed to let the  bureau of automotive repair know about this situation. I have no car now and I've been waiting on the company to send a technician down. I will now be calling AAA to replace the battery, but if any electric damage was done, I feel like it is not my responsibility to be liable for the financial obligation of the repairs as this company had a terrible install that wasn't done properly. read more

Richard was our "Angel" last night when our rental car had a flat tire off highway 60 in the canyon near Morongo. AAA told us help would be 45 minutes away, and 18 wheelers and cars were flying by.... It was very late and we had just traveled to LAX from overseas and we're exhausted. Within ten minutes, this beautiful young man appeared, flashed us a smile that lit up the night and asked how he could be of assistance! He said our distress call came in while he was out on another errand, and he grab it.... With remarkable skill and expertise, he jacked up the car, muscled the flat tire off and spare on and sent us on our way relieved that a bad situation was made all better. Terrible company to deal with. AAA sent out to pick up my sons vandalized vehicle. They lied and said they couldn't tow it to our home it had to go to their yard. They held it hostage over the weekend then wanted $800 to get it out. They are so rude, arrogant and have terrible customer service. The business office is disgustingly dirty and the workers are very unprofessional. If AAA sends this company please refuse their service and ask for someone else. We have been AAA members for over 25 years and own several classic cars that have been towed many times and have never dealt with anything like this before. Really unhappy with this service. They towed my vehicle from an accident, and I gave the driver the key. When they delivered the vehicle they did not have the key. I've called their office repeatedly, left messages, they say they will look, but never get back to me. It appears that I'm not getting the key back. Shoddy service. Today I had to call AAA because I was driving on a road that wasn't maintained and ended up with two flat tires. Four women stranded in the middle of nowhere. Juan called to make sure we were safe and to let us know he was on the way. He was quick and kept in contact so we felt safe. My son showed up to take us home and Juan said not to wait he loaded my car on the flatbed and he took care of everything. He even called me after he dropped it off to let me know it was at the shop. Out in extreme heat and sun blazing and burning on my skin with a car that won't start so no relieve of air conditioning, and hours from home late on a Saturday with no auto repair shops open, and up rolls in Jeffrey with a professional demeanor and a compassionate, friendly, kind, calming, upbeat, cheerful attitude which was greatly appreciated!! Apparently after driving for several hours since it was so hot the cooling fan was continuously running after car shut off so drained the battery. Jeffrey assessed the situation and ended up jump starting the car so was able to get some relief from being hot with air conditioning and then drove several hours to get back to the comforts of home.
