Considering you are in a town of 4000 people, nice to find a brewery high on the Wyoming flats at the base of the great Wind River Range. Nice place to unwind before or after a backpacking trip to the Wind Rivers. That said, the service is pretty harried, as this place is usually very, very busy. Beer is pretty good, certainly a good effort. Not great, but good Without being too regionally chauvinistic, for those who say that, "Colorado sets the standard for microbrewed beer", there is this little place on the West Coast called Oregon. Come on out and we'll tour some breweries that have been around for over 2 decades in a town with more breweries per capita than any city in the world. Just sayin'. First pint's on me. Food was excellent, great menu with tons of choices. Had the flatiron steak with blue cheese butter and the artichoke dip as an appetizer, both were terrific. Service was attentive and well informed. I like the overall feel and location of this place so I've given the place many chances over the last couple years. The food is decent and beer is fair. They have different theme nights like trivia night during the winter and summer months. However, the service has always been awful. Nobody seems happy. You can never get a water refill. You would think they would be motivated to ask if you'd like another wine or alcohol drink - but I've never been asked. I have to wave someone down. I actually talked to a Wind River server outside of the restaurant who confirmed that there are ownership and management problems who make it a miserable place to work. I'd be nice if this place gets its stuff together because it really could be a great place to be. read more

I would love to know what the food is like, but we didn't have that opportunity. We waited at the hostess stand for about 15 minutes without anyone even saying hello to us. This is a pretty good brewery and restaurant. The service is slow with the wait staff but the cooks have been pretty efficient. I had chicken strips one night, chef salad and loaded potato soup another night, and a French dip. I tried their Hefeweizen beer. It was one of the better ones I've tried. read more

A nice, quiet place to enjoy a good beer with dinner. Another stop on our vacation located in scenic Pinedale, WY. Very good beer selections here. Our waitress happened to be from Akron, OH about 10 minutes from where I grew up. Talk about a small world! Good appetizers, good service. Seems to be more geared towards the locals, but it was cool. Excellent restaurant with great beer, juicy smoked ribs, and their Ribeye steak is absolutely amazing! I have been cooking steaks for many years, their ribeye steak is really to my standard; I meant, it beats the steaks I had in many steak houses in NYC, Boston, Denver, and Philadelphia. The only criticism I have is that their food tends to be a bit salty, both meat and vegetable. But it is way better than restaurants with bland food. read more

We stopped for a late lunch on our way to Jackson and stood there for at least 15 minutes before the bartender rushed by to tell us to seat ourselves. There was only one server rushing around and the bartender in back. We were not sure that this was a good idea, but once we were seated, the server, Ashley, came by pretty quickly and took our order. The drinks and our lunch came out right away after that. We had a Reuben sandwich to share and it was really good. Especially liked the marbled rye bread. Ashley was very apologetic about the initial wait and very friendly. She just needed some help trying to manage the whole place by herself. read more

I've lived in Pinedale for almost a year and this is my favorite dinner and beer place in town. The staff are friendly and chatty, and usually good about serving you in a timely manner, except some weekend nights when the place is packed. I know all the bartenders, servers and some of the cooks by name and it's always a great time there. I love their beer, especially the stout, porter, bitter and amber, and T.K.O. (winter seasonal barley wine). The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that occasionally the food was disappointing, and the priceyness prevents me from eating there as often as I'd like. Lived in Pinedale for years. This place has continued to spiral down with food and quality. I've been all over the country. In a bigger town this place would have closed up years ago. Mostly run by 20 somethings. Locals know the deal here but it's the only burger place in town. So it's the travelers and passer by's that are just thankful to get a burger that leave 5 stars. As far as food goes, average to below average. Last time I ordered the Ribeye steak sandwich. This sandwich used to come out hanging out the sides of a hamberger bun. Now it comes out like two little sliders! For $18, its rediculous! After pointing out how small it was, even the server said, yea that's small. But nothing else from her. Not, hey would you like to send it back or anything. I hate this place. All they care about is beer. The food is an after thought and it's clear the owners don't care. And their fish is Swai. It's a Veitnamese catfish! Why would you serve that crap here in America, much less Wyoming? read more

Very delicious pub food. The salad was not very only because I enjoy ice berg which was not part of the salad. Salad dressing tasted homemade. The Rueben sandwich, Tator tots, and sweet potato fries very delicious. The ipa mango beer was very delightful; totally enjoyed. The Tito's vodka - what can I say wonderful. When we walked in they were playing the Florida Gators vs TN Vols great surprise. I would highly recommend a stop in Pinedale just for lunch or dinner. Great place and atmosphere. Large portions, great beer and superb service during Rendezvous Weekend. They now have their Wind River Blonde Ale available in 16 oz. four packs. We ate there three times. the Rib Eye steak sandwich is the best, although any of the Sunday Brunch entrees are a very close second. I prefer the lighter ales, while my wife the darker stouts. Slow/inattentive service, cold food, and sickness last night. I'm hoping to Change my rating for this place based on the promise from the manager. We normally love this establishment for everything they make, but the last visit was the worst dining experience in years. Food took over an hour to arrive with only one refill from our unapologetic server. When food arrived, it was cold, hair was found in an entree, and two people of our group were throwing up in an hour. The owners have put a lot of care into making a great place with excellent products, but the staff were able to ruin the experience, the food, and the integrity of the restaurant. After speaking with the manager, my hope is that the help drastically improves, but we will not be back for the remainder of this trip. read more
