Large craft beer menu, Crimson Keep whiskey barrel aged was perfect. I came here thinking spaghetti and meatball, my Olive G fav. But I went all in on the short rib pasta. What? Yeah it's short ribs in flat spaghetti noodles! So tasty. Made my week. I'm soo glad I tried something diff for a change. You can add a salad for $3 which worked out great.

I came across Mulino and really enjoyed the information I read on their webpage (this really is a family restaurant), checked the spot out and fell in love with the open kitchen concept, the interior placement of the decor and outdoor dining option. I decided, at that moment, that this was going to be the place to celebrate! I was accompanied by 11 friends. Yup, we made an evening out of it. We sat outside and indulged in drinks - adult and kid friendly beverages, although there were no kids with us - Italian cuisine, storytelling and laughter. It was a great atmosphere and great weather for all of that. The drink and dishes that I consumed were items I never tried before. (See above for my order). So, I figured today was the day to experiment. The concept of the toast I enjoyed more than the actual item. Personal preference issue: It came out hot, which was great. I like toast, but not well done toasted bread. It was like eating a big crouton that was submerged in a dipping spread. I had to use my knife and fork to create pieces to eat. Because it was so large and hard, there were crumbs jumping everywhere. Maybe I needed a finely sharpened surgical knife for clean, precision cutting. The spread cooled quickly, which was to be expected after all the work I had to go through just to get one bite. I liked the spread better when it was hot. I think that if the spread was created and served in a cast iron dish, with a side of "croutons" to dip in it, that would have been better suited for this concept. The lobster buccatini, well, again, a personal preference issue: The sauce was tasty, the noodles were fun, the peas were, well, peas (you either like them or you don't) and I do love microgreens. I have no suggestion for what could have been done differently here; it was good, but one time was enough for me. Like I said, I just wanted to try something different. And different I did...in Lander, Wy! Oh and the drink was tasty. In all, the experience was enjoyed by all. Definitely an upgraded, large city type atmospheric restaurant, compared to what Lander has to offer (or not offer). P.S. - If you are interested in reserving space for a large party, when the restaurant opens, know that you may get some pushback (The reason for the 3 stars). If we were sitting at an open air restaurant right now, enjoying a nice brunch surrounded by people in cute brunch outfits, I would give you all the details. But in the end, it all worked out (but not before I took some deep breaths, and vented to a few folks to make sure I wasn't the crazy one. I even had to call my mother on this one. Sheesh!)

I had my reservations about the spaghetti due to the egg on top, but when you mix it in, it adds to much flavor! And there is no red sauce on the spaghetti. The bread was good, the charred edges gave it flavor. Definitely tasted home made. The Panna cotta was very good but it was more thick like flan. It was also a very large portion. The smores dessert is served hot and bubbly but didn't have as much flavor. The tiramisu was to die for! Definitely recommend it! The afgotta would have been better with alcohol in the coffee. The burrata salad was very fresh and flavorful. The Caesar salad is not shown but it was delicious and very large. You are able to share this with several people at the table. Service was great! Everyone was kind and friendly. If you are in a large party they include the 20% tip and they will not split up the check. So not very group friendly. The ambiance is dark and romantic. It is actually so dark that it is hard to see inside.

We started our meal with the crostata - the whipped ricotta was very tasty. We followed that with the classic Caesar, which was more than enough for 4 people to share. For my entree, I got the fusilli gigante, which was excellent. Good flavor and just the right amount of spice. Others in the party ha the casarecce and the Ray cavatelli and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. The portion sizes were excellent for an Italian restaurant. Just the right amount!

Wow Really Good!…read more SPICY RIGATONI ALLA' VODKA Very good - not spicy at all - medium portion size. CACIO E PEPE Also rigatoni. Very good. Leans into the pepper just right, as it should. FRIED MOZZARELLA W/ MARINARA 6 large pieces (each is almost double a standard mozzarella stick). It's fried cheese so not surprisingly it was very tasty! SERVICE We had a great server - super attentive. She had big earrings and turquoise eye liner. I hope you get her too! : ) AMBIANCE Ok, so this is where pictures don't do it justice. It's really nice! Inside and outside. Somehow the pictures posted online look like crap in my opinion. It's a truly great spot for a casual date or dinner out with a large group. FINAL THOUGHT FOR OWNER(S) Throw a handful more rigatoni in for your pasta dishes. $30 is quite a bit for what seemed like a half or kids portion. Thanks so much! : )

Especially in the cold winter months in Jackson Hole. The wine recommendation from our waitress was amazing. It has become my new favorite. The olives and mozzarella sticks were amazing appetizers and perfect for sharing. I'm still dreaming about the sauce. The pastas were delectable and melted in your mouth. The spicy rigatoni was definitely spicy, but I could not stop eating it! The restaurant is a little on the outskirts of the main town, but it's perfect for enjoying a night there. You can walk around, shop, and then enjoy a delicious meal!

The bison with the caramelized onions was next level! The huckleberry was pretty good too. For the main course, we got the bison burger and the red sauce with meatballs. The bison burger was so tender and melted in my mouth. I had regretted the choice of a bison burger because I remembered how most ends up so dry, but not this. The pasta with meatballs reminded me of my childhood, but better. The meatballs are so full of flavor. Miazga's is great comfort food, perfect for a ski town. Everything has an add pricing, and they're definitely great adds, but the end bill was very affordable for a nice ski town. On cold nights at home, I'll definitely be craving the food.
