As of a couple of months ago, I heard back from the owner Bebe. My review was delayed in order to give time for the company to follow through and allow for a fair review. During this time Their insurance company Guardian came through, and I was able to pick out a new sofa due to the old one being broken/unrepairable. Bebe went out of her way to make sure that picking out the new sofa and delivery/setup went smoothly. I have been very happy with the new purchase and extremely pleased with the way Bebe handled everything to make sure that I was satisfied. I would not recommend making any purchases here, we had a horrible experience with the quality of our couch & return process. You will notice they have many items in the 'as is' section because so many people have had to make returns. Ours was not an 'as is' purchase and we paid for the extended warranty. We had to have the couch replaced three times due to stitching failure, which is when we finally said we wanted a different couch. We went again to the store, picked out a new couch and scheduled it to be delivered. Another six weeks later, as the delivery truck sat outside my house, was when we were advised for the first time we would have to pay a $125 re-stocking fee to bring the couch into my house. What?!? There were too many inconveniences and inconsistencies, we decided to decline the couch and ask for our money back. We went weeks without a couch because of this situation, and in the end got totally ripped off. They removed the discount from our overall purchase and took the difference out of the refund, forcing us to pay full price for the other item we decided to keep, despite the 20% off sale they were holding during the time of our purchase. This review is a bit late, we made this exchange about a year ago, I can only hope they have improved their business & customer service practices by now, but I wouldn't hold much hope. We ended up making our purchase at JC Penny Home, it was awesome and I would highly recommend you check out their home store. read more

I had a pleasant experience ordering some tables from Windmill Furniture Gallery. I had a specific living room table set that I was shopping for. And they were one of many distributors for it. This place beat their competition by hundreds of dollars!! The saleswoman "Jo" and Her coworker "Rogelio" made the whole ordering and pick up process easy and enjoyable. The store was getting ready for a remodel, so, it should have a more modern showroom soon. I'll keep them in mind for any furniture purchases in the future. read more

We are all around happy with this business. My husband dealt with Roger to purchase a 3 piece couch set and he gave him a great deal. A week later the delivery was made which was sooner than we expected. The furniture is beautiful and the delivery guys were very polite and tried to make sure they placed it exactly how we wanted. I felt bad I didn't have extra cash on me to tip them because good service is hard to come by. Very satisfied customers here! read more

My wife and I purchased a reclining sofa and a chaise to match. I was offered a 20% discount to purchase both pieces. After having the sofa for a week the stitching began coming out of the cushions. They took the sofa back and two weeks later I had a "new" one. Three weeks after that the stitching began coming out of the second sofa. I tried to return the sofa and the chaise but the owner gave me a terrible time. Finally he agreed to take back the defective sofa and return my money then he refused to take the chaise back even though I purchased them as a matching set. To make matters worse, refused to honor the original discount! He added the 20% discount back into the chaise lounger and he said " You are no longer purchasing two items so you must now pay full price for the chaise"! Apparently its my fault he sells junk furniture. read more

I have been shopping at Windmill for years, I've bought mattresses, tables and couches. Everything we bought has lasted as long as anything else we bought elsewhere. Beautiful furniture and excellent customer service when purchasing our furniture at the Oakdale store . Delivery and communication is what this store lacks. My spouse and I have been waiting for 2 weeks for the remaining of our furniture(one night stand and coffee table. Have been communicating back and forth between owner and wharehouse manager who both seem unconcerned. We were never told that one night stand was back ordered. When the coffe table arrived, there was a quarter sized blotch on the table. We had to send pictures just to get it replaced. I understand wanting proof but it was an insult for the owner to suggest that we had placed the blotch there. To add insult to injury, we have not received an apology for any inconvenience that they continue to cause. Yes, I am writing this review before we get our furniture because it is obvious that speaking to them directly is pointless. All we want is our furniture because after all we are paying for it!!! read more

We purchased our bedroom furniture plus mattress and box springs well over a year ago. The mattress sides were collapsing on one side. Contacted Windmill and they gave us an upgraded mattress which is very nice at no extra cost to us. We've also purchased a sofa an got it cheaper than the other furniture stores around this area and are completely satisfied. We also got our table and chairs from Windmill and they are very nice. The owners have been very helpful and courteous to us. We have recommended them to our friends and family. read more
