When you arrive, Lynn will give you a tour of the place, give you instructions and your special key code to get in and out as you please, and lastly, bring you to your room. We have stayed in two different rooms and our favorite is the spacious room upstairs with the en-suite bathroom. Room amenities include: extra towels, pillows, and blankets, a fan, a white noise machine, smart T.V., luggage stand, and a binder of useful information. Each morning, Lynn serves a continental breakfast from 8-10 a.m. which includes: fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, homemade muffins, granola bars, and oatmeal. The coffee and tea bar is always open, which I just love. I can't sing enough accolades for this beautiful bed and breakfast and its delightful host. If you're visiting Knoxville and you need a place to stay, you don't need to search any further.

We can walk straight up to the barn and pet and feed them carrots and apples. All good. I have no shame in saying that I'm an uptight, city slicking,asphalt loving diva but I do enjoy coming here for a few days , unplugging and getting away from all the traffic ,concrete and my comfort zone. The roadways are paved, but the sites are gravel... and that tiny gravel that gets in your shoes and ends up everywhere. Oh, well. A nice view from our site of the lake. We very much wish they did not have so many "buddy sites" where there were on our visit two empty peninsulas that when we looked at the map, that's because the great view corner spots were four buddy sites meaning you have to rent both. Our little cul de sac was full, and some of our neighbors were evidently very popular with lots of visitors, they had lots of kids, and they loved their music. They honored quiet hours, but it was a lot that if we could have moved over, we definitely would have. Love the cafe, love that the cafe will deliver food or margaritas to your campsite. We did a couple of the activities in that cafe common area... fun group S'mores with ALL the possible fixings and Bingo one night. Met some nice folks that were very fun. We don't fish, but a lot of folks were doing that. We don't have a boat, but I would say most folks here had some sort of water vessel. The location is a bit remote, and the road to the campground is rather small, but manageable... just pay attention. We'll likely visit again in a few years and maybe they will have made some upgrades with some paved or concrete sites - fingers crossed.

However, it is fairly quiet which was nice. And also very clean. Especially the bathhouses. I doubt we would ever stay here again but for the price I expected more.

You can rent boats from a local dock 10ish minutes away driving if you don't have one, or you can put your boat in not far and keep it near your site in the water. The bathrooms are relatively clean and hook ups and water are fine. The only complaint we have is that there are tons of ants everywhere. If you drop food, they will find it. Last year they tried to climb up our jacks and get into our camper so we always try to remember to bring any spray. There is a ton of goose poop around the sites by the water but we just use bags we use for the dog's poop and throw it away so we don't step on it.

Would recommend to others but would I would definitely pick a different campsite next time (52) just because of the slope to get in/out and not being level (but the view from this site is beautiful!!)

There is NO SHAMPOO OR CONDITIONER PROVIDED IN THE ROOM SO TAKE NOTE. Overall the stay was pretty good the blinds are manually done by hand. About a half hour from Knoxville. There is a free Keurig coffee machine located in the lobby and you actually got a comforter to sleep with. The rooms have a very sterile feeling to them.
