They took care of the dry rot immediately, I stalled the garden window, and repaired the stucco. The added cost was much less than hiring a building contractor and was completed without delay. I didn't need to live without the window but for a few extra days. The windows look great (see photos). Quality windows. First class installation...they even added a slanted sill below the garden window. They also stand behind their work Great warranty though I doubt I'll need to call them back. Alan did a consultation and outlined the options for my new patio door, and then Cynthia sent estimates for both options. Once I chose an option and the custom door arrived from Milgard, we scheduled the work. The crew completed the work in a day. Alan removed the old door and installed the new one. Ken brought materials in and did some prep, finish, and cleanup work. Alan explained the challenges of getting the door and seals properly seated because the building itself is out of level due to construction quality and age. Despite these challenges, he worked it all out via a few well-placed shims and the door's built-in adjustment screws. He even returned a few weeks later at my request to make several more minor adjustments. Also, the company asked Milgard to come out and replace a section of weatherstripping that I assume was damaged during shipping or transport. They arrived as scheduled and completed the project within the three days planned. What impressed us most was how well they worked around the tenants. With five occupied units, I was concerned about the disruption a project this size could cause, but they were very mindful of each tenant's space and worked around what was available to them. The same person who previously came to help us came to take measurements of the window so they could order a replacement. They came by & we never heard from them again. They warned us the replacement could take a few months. A year later (ish), we reached out. They said they need to come by again & get the label from the window. We offered a good time (10 a.m. or later on date x). Now again not responding. I would never use this company again & do not recommrnd them. This unnecessary stress is ridiculous. I'm going to talk to my cc company to see what can be done. I'll also be contacting BBB, etc when I have the wherewithal. Luckily, my husband doesn't delete emails, so I have all my documentation.

Foxtail HIll had made a window and a couple of doors for our contractor when he romodeled our kitchen in late 2010 so I decided to contact Foxtail Hill last August to see if they'd be able to take on this small project for us. A few weeks later, Vince & Michael Feeney came out to take measurements & sent us an estimate. After a quick visit to their window assembly location to have questions answered & to drop off our deposit, Patricia, the Office Manager, put us on the schedule for mid-November. She also referred us to a painter who was able to paint our windows onsite at Foxtail Hill before our scheduled day. The morning of our installation day, the installers Francisco & Ediberto arrived promptly to prep the room for removing our old windows. This included the removal of our window shutters & keeping them safe during the installation process. To move things along, another fellow stopped by to assist them a few hours later with putting in the new windows & to help with any necessary touch up paint. They did a stellar job for us, so we would highly recommend them.

Felix sent someone out who said it wasn't actually the window, but insisted on re-caulking anyway. He had his worker nail up our tarp over the area that might have been the source of the problem. Throughout, he constituted calling and checking in even though it WASN'T the window. That's great service!
