In 2024 wide world replaced all windows in our house- they didn't do a good job the gaps were not properly sealed we had to call them back to finish the job. On one window the screen is larger than the window. I called them month and a half ago they sent someone to take the number on the window but nev heard from them back. Research: We researched Hardie Board vs. Alside Class A Fire Rated Siding, which comes down to risk, value, and personal preferences. Below is a summation of what we found. Both sidings have benefits but we chose the Alside product because we did not live in an area with high risk of fires, but we wanted the benefits of superior fire ratings, insulation, lifetime warranty, reduced energy bills, curb appeal and aesthetics of maintain the Williamsburg look and feel to our house without any sacrifices. Why We Made the Switch When we decided to refresh the exterior of our home, we knew we needed something strong, safe, and attractive. We replaced all of our windows on our townhouse back in 2009 and we were very happy with the look and performance over the first ten years. We purchased double pane, low-e glass, and argon gas filled windows. We also installed new sliding doors from Window World. Their prices were very competitive. My family and I lived overseas the past six years and came back this summer and noticed multiple windows with a blueish haze/streaks on the outer pane of glass. We could not clean or wipe off the hazing with traditional glass cleaning products. Our bay window is particularly impacted and as the centerpiece of our townhome it now sticks out like a sore thumb. After doing some online research, it appears to be one of two potential causes. Either the seal on the window failed allowing moisture/dirt to get inside the window or the low-e glazing has deteriorated. I am not an expert so it could be something else entirely. The windows do receive direct sunlight but not all of the windows suffer from this problem. Bottom Line - something is wrong with my windows. I have tried unsuccessfully since September 2024 to get Window World Maintenance out to my property to inspect the windows. The windows come with a lifetime warranty. I have made online claims through the warranty website providing my documentation. It is now late February 2025 and my family and I are still waiting for a visit. There are many options for replacement windows and I would caution folks to think hard about using Window World based on my experiences trying to get them out to my house to inspect and troubleshoot the problem. Window World needs to either stand by their product or stop telling customers the windows come with a lifetime warranty if they are not willing to support the customers when issues arise. I have stopped asking for when a team will come by to look at the windows. I get the same answer...."maintenance will contact you" I included WW Corporate on one email exchange and they called me and said the local affiliate will call me first thing next week. I am still waiting.....The pictures speak for themselves. My advice is to shop around and do your own research regarding how a company responds when there is a problem or issue before selecting a company. i purchased 2 sliding doors from Window World in 2011 and the screens on both doors have tears in them. I contacted WW to get replacements and was told I have to bring the screens to them to restring! I asked if that is in my contract from 2011 and all I got is it is against their policy to pick them up. What a joke! Me THINKING that a company who says they will replace for life would replace them with no issue; instead requires the customer to bring the torn screens to them!! i was not expecting this reply and how on earth would I be able to fit 2 door screens in my car???? We ordered 2 new exterior doors in June of 2022 - Paid 1500 deposit Fast forward 6 months and we had not heard anything. Everytime I called they told me they would call back, but never did. Finally complain loud enough to get ahold of someone who can install the doors They come and one of the doors is damaged and they are the wrong color. 2 weeks later they come back and install - still the same doors that were the wrong color and damaged. Things only get worse with Window World of Washington DC. After much communication with Window World personnel in the Wash DC office (They are a franchise), Window World Consumer Relations Department in the head office in Wilkesboro, NC, and the franchise owner, about getting the products (sidiing, a front door, and a storm door) that I contracted and paid for in 2022 completed, I thought I was finally out of the woods at the end of 2023 when all the items were finally all delivered and installed. Unfortunately, I was clearly wrong. Issues with communication, follow through, and quality remain solidly inconsistent. Quality is now the foremost issue I have with Window World although there are accompanying matters of follow through and communication. I discovered an opening in the front door sidelight that was installed on May 26th of 2023 as the weather got cooler. I contacted the Regional Manager about a gap in the sidelight of the newly installed front door on October 18th of 2023. This matter was addressed but as usual, later than the promised date. On January 26th, 2024, the storm door which was also installed on May of 2023 developed a serious problem. It could neither be unlocked from inside nor from outside. I was trapped in my house and could not exit. I was concerned about safety and did not wish to sleep in a house I could not exit readily in the event of a fire. Once again, I was forced to contact Window World. Although the storm door lock had had a similar problem on the day it was installed, I was able to unlock it then after several hours of jiggling and maneuvering the lock mechanism before help came. This time hours of jiggling and maneuvering didn't work. I credit the Regional Manager on this occasion for suggesting that the seal for the glass in the door be removed until the next day when he would come inspect the storm door lock. I was fortunate that my neighbor was available to help remove the glass in the storm door. The Regional Manager himself was unable to unlock the door until he picked it apart with a tool when he came to inspect the door on January 27th, 2024. He did replace the glass in the door and I taped the door lock so that it would not accidentally get stuck again pending it being repaired or replaced. He did inform me that a new lock for the storm door would be susceptible to having the same problem since a mechanism inside the lock turned beyond where it was supposed to which makes it catch in a position that makes it lock in place. The problem is a design flaw. The Regional Manager promised to order a new lock for the storm door and to contact me within a few weeks. I heard nothing from him since January 27th, 2024 so I contacted him on March 11th, 2024 by which time the seal that holds the glass in the door had started to fail. I now have to constantly push the seal into it's grove because it won't stay in place. A promise to get back to me the next day was not kept. I reached out again on March 18th, 2024. My enquiries at this point were met with brusque responses and no definite date or window of time when the problem would be resolved or my money refunded so I can go purchase a functional door myself. The manager ended our text conversation abruptly on March 18th 2024. A dismissive attitude toward customers does not grow a business. It invites reviews such as mine and law suits. The quality of the storm door has proven to be worthless and the level of disregard for customers inexcusably shoddy. It is no wonder that so many customers in recent times have few kind words for Window World. I do intend to get what I paid for or my money back. read more

I've never spent so much time trying to convince a company to take my money. Essentially I ordered windows in February, paid the deposit, and was told they would be installed by early May. Here we are and I'm still waiting. I can't count the number of times I've been told conflicting information: The original store told me once on the phone that the windows would be installed in April, but then I was told later via e-mail this was a mistake. Then, the new date was early May. The day before, I was told this was also a mistake and the windows were transferred to another store. As for customer service, I've been left chasing different people via e-mails, which are sometimes responded to and sometimes not. When they do respond, I've been told how difficult it is for the company to handle their workload/email inbox load. I feel for these guys. It's hard to run a business right now. But, at the end of the day, as a customer, I just want the product I ordered at the time when I've been promised it will arrive. Full stop. Realistic expectations are key for satisfied customers. It's 2022, time for these guys to get better at customer communication and on-time delivery. At the start, the salespeople were professional and responsive, and the prices were fair. But, delays and poor communication means I would never recommend this company to anyone working on a schedule. They simply aren't up to the job of meeting it. read more

I am not happy with their customer service and scheduling department. I made an installation appointment even called back to confirm appointment time and date. Once they no showed for my scheduled time I called and was told by the scheduler that she mistakenly was looking at the wrong week on the calendar. The scheduler wasn't apologetic nor did she make any attempts to try an accommodate me for her mistake. I was very disappointed at the nonchalant attitude given since I called back to confirm my appointment. At the least the scheduler should've called me to inform me of her mistake at the time she realized she made it. Her oversight and inconsideration cost me a very big inconvenience. I requested to speak with a supervisor and was told that the owner, Greg, would contact me. It's been a week and I've left three messages, one being with corporate for Greg to call me and still no call. My installation appointment is supposed to happen today but I'm not too sure that will take place since I haven't received a call back or appointment confirmation/ reminder. I feel as though this company stays in contact with you up until you sign their contract and then they no longer care about their customer service with you. I am now out of my deposit and looks like my windows as well. Be careful! read more

Window World came highly recommended and my experience was quite the opposite. A window was installed damaged, the installers damaged drywall and window trim in my home, left caulk on my carpet, debris in the yard and spills in my garage. It took months to get the damaged window repaired and the damaged drywall was never addressed as promised. No one would respond to phone calls, emails or even a visit to the physical office. Scheduled appointments were usually no shows. Worst (or should I say zero) customer service I have ever experienced. Would NOT recommend!!! read more

Avoid this place. I had to order a replacement screen and tried to do so through the Fredericksburg office. They told me I had to use the Chantilly office (which was $40 more just for a screen) since the geographic coverage area changed. So I order the screen and am told 3-4 weeks until it would come in. I hear nothing at week 4 so I call. They then say 6-7 weeks. I again hear nothing and call at both 6 and 7 weeks. Then call again at 8 weeks. Each time i call they say they will check into it and call me back. They never once called me back. Now on week 9 and no replacement screen or the first call from them with any type of update. Was considering using them for a siding project (I'm sure they'd communicate then since it would involve money) but definitely going with a local contractor instead. Deceptive business practice. You will definitely be asked to pay more than the advertised price of $399 and $499 because of additional line items that get added to the estimate. We had to request the estimator to come to our house again because the first two estimates we received the customer service personnel says they couldn't find it in their system. However this time the experience with estimator Tobi or Toby was horrendous. When asked why the company charges for removing window, he did not react professionally and turned angry and rude to a point he was abusive as he walked out our driveway. I was forced to respond in anger because I won't take unnecessary unkind words from a damn sales rep. He claimed he's a top sales person in the country and if that being the case then I hate to judge - how bad are the other sales rep in the company? One other interesting fact I learned today. It seems the company number you call, they don't have your estimate. Estimate is only available with the sales rep and they do not submit customers' estimate to the respective office you will call. Apparently the sales representative are actually agents from what I understood and that's the reason the company number you call don't have the estimate given to you in their system. In summary, you are buying windows from the sales agent and not directly from the company. This in my view is not the way to buy windows because now the warranty may or may not be honored if something goes wrong. Your sales agent may not be working with window world so good luck on getting warranty. BTW, the sales rep also said don't ever call window world again - who's calling after this lousy experience!! I think he was racist and this I'm clearly judging now by his behavior and does not like Asian customers. Customers other than white are warned to ask another rep if Tobi is the one showing at your door. read more

Don't go to this location. They have a awful customer service and do a poor job with installation. They incorrectly installed our roof siding, and the pieces subsequently fell off during a windstorm. After countless phone calls requesting someone to come back to take a look, WW sent someone to evaluate the damages. He confirmed the siding was installed incorrectly, and that he would put in a report and have a team sent out to resolve. However, the WW office has no recollection of this visit or this report. We're back at square one and are being told to contact our home insurance, since the damage was caused by a windstorm. It seems the owners of this location have zero logic or deductive reasoning skills. Also seems pretty shady and fraud-like to KNOW you've incorrectly installed something, and refuse to fix it and/or provide the report that your own employees have submitted. Overall - poor management, poor installation skills, poor service. Would not recommend. read more

We had Window World, Chantilly replaced all of our windows back in 2020, since then we experience our first issue in 2021 with one of our windows, where there was a leakage. We called and had them repair it. During yesterday's storm the leakage happened again from the same window. There customer service is one the worst customer services I've experienced. We called to have someone repair the issue and we kept getting the run around. Contacted corporate and they kept referring us to their local office which did nothing for us. We contacted them on Thursday afternoon, after many calls they finally had someone call us back on Friday afternoon to schedule Someone to be here on Monday. Meanwhile we were told to do whatever we can to obstruct the water from coming in to our home. They only cared to do the job, once completed they don't want to own any issues that may arise from their poor installation. Don't count on them for their lifetime warranty is not true. Their sales department is very quick to respond but when it comes to resolving issues is always someone else's fault. The worst feeling a customer can experience is to feel helpless and that's how we feel. We're pretty much at their mercy, that's exactly how Elias Barrientos ( Installation Manager) made my husband feel when he said is up to us to see what we do to resolve the issue while we wait for them to come on Monday. I really don't like to write reviews but I really feel people should know how a company reacts to their clients needs they're happy to take your money when you're buying their goods and services but their not willing to take ownership when their clients have an issue. This past Wednesday, September 11, 2024, we replaced the 31 main windows in our almost 32-year-old home. After much research, amongst the main window competitors, we chose Window World. Quality wise, they were all essentially the same, except, Window World did not "nickel and dime" you on everything. The price Window World advertised, was the price that was offered and the final price we paid for top quality beautiful windows. I was told that the crew (originally told 8) was going to arrive between 8 and 9, and that we should set aside two days for the job; they arrived at 8:15 am, on 9/11; there were 3 of them and I was originally concerned. The leader, Josue' Alas, assured me that three was all that was needed and that they would complete the job, all 31-windows, by 5:00 pm that day. In less than two hours, all 31 of the old windows were out, and the new windows were in their proper places, at which time, the finishing work began. Taking only a 30-minute lunch break, they not only ensured that the windows were then properly secured, in their places, but aluminum molding, that had to be taken down, with the old windows, was properly cut, shaped and replaced...looking even better than the original. This three-man crew worked diligently, quietly, efficiently, and effectively. They were friendly, and did not mind my peeking over their shoulders, not to oversee their efforts, but just to see how the process of taking out and putting in new windows worked. To be honest, I wasn't quite sure that three people were going to be able to remove and replace 31-windows in one day, but not only did they do it, but before the finishing work started, they had that part done in less than two hours; the finishing work was what took the majority part of the day, but they were done by 5:15 pm, and their clean-up was immaculate. In fact, as they worked, during the day, especially in the house, they were constantly using their portable vacuum cleaner as they went around, and even on our outside deck. Our neighbors had previously used Window World, so we decided to give them a try and we discussed our project with Dustin Swartz, who was our Windows World Design Consultant. We found him very pleasant and great to work with. He did not try to push us into the very high-end windows, noting that in our situation, we truly did not need the most expensive windows, and we appreciated his honesty. In fact, when we replace our front door, next year, we will again be going with Window World, and Dustin again. Again, we were exceptionally pleased with Josue' and his crew, they really did a great job. Finally, the price: I won't be exact, but we came in at less than $17,000 for the 31-windows (including removal, installation, and all of the finishing work), our son had considerably less work done by Window Nation and paid considerably more. For transparency, I reviewed Window Nation a day before receiving a quote from Window World, go read that review if you so wish. For reference, I have a home that needed 35 windows replaced and I wanted to have a sliding door installed. I asked for a quote from Window Nation who came out and gave a great presentation, only to jot down a first estimate at, get this, $36,000. I had them quote me without the sliding door, and they went down $10,000 to $26,000. I told them I would get back to them once they went down to $21k, knowing I would be meeting with Window World the following day. A friend of mine had already used Window World in the past. He said they were fair, to the point, and did a good job. Without even knowing what they would tell me the next day, he said he knows that I'll be using them. We will see, I thought. The agent comes by, counts windows, takes measurements, sits down with a calculator and comes up with a number. Firstly, he counted 35 windows and drew up a vertical drawing showing where all the windows were placed. Window Nation's quote was only for 34 windows... they miscounted. Secondly, he gives me a quote with the sliding door included. Without negotiation or any sales pitch, he comes at me with a price nearly $20,000 less than Window Nation's! I asked for a Military Discount and he knocked off a few hundred... we had a deal! Window Nation also has a financing plan through Wells Fargo, 0% interest for 18 months, with no money down! Window Nation wanted 40% down and their plan was for 6 months I believe. I never once asked for the type of windows, I had seen them already at my friend's home, and they were good for me. The agent brought me in a sample anyway, my wife liked it, so if she was happy, that made me happy. They gave me a 4-6 week window, and like clockwork they contacted me last week and set up a two day window (no pun intended) to install the windows. It would be two days because we're talking 35 windows and a sliding door. They gave me an arrival window of 9-11am. At 9am precisely, they showed up. Some of the reviews I've read had me skeptical even after agreeing to the deal, but I now wonder if some of the reviews are from competitors who need to slander Window World just to have a shot. The first day wasn't without bumps, but they got all but 3 windows installed (they brought 3 windows they weren't part of my order accidentally). They caulked up the interior, and started framing most of the windows on the exterior. They had just two workers, and they alone were knocking it all out until two others came to assist. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by their professionalism, their experience, and their care for my home. I am so glad I went with them, and I'm hoping my neighbors need their windows replaced, because I will have them reach out to Window World. While this review is written the evening after day 1 was completed, I expect day 2 to go just as well and will be more of a cleanup exercise. I like how Window World flat out told me that I don't have to sign anything showing completion of the project until I am satisfied with their work. So tomorrow I'll do a walkthrough with them, have them touch up anything they may have missed, and take picture of my new windows. I have a tendency to worry about large purchases for fear of buyer'a remorse, but I haven't felt that at all. Instead, I'm excited to see my home with these new windows adding life to it. It's not Anderson, but they also don't charge $40,000 like Anderson. They are also not Window Nation, because they seem to be focused on getting a sucker, and they almost made me one. 8 months later (14 months after initial purchase) and Windowless World has STILL NOT INSTALLED my patio door nor repaired the shoddy work done with the partial install that was completed. WTF do they expect people to do? After my last review they threatened me with a lawsuit for slander. The site owner and WW Regional Sales rep react to my emails with empty promises of "we're looking into it" and "we'll get on that right away"... and then NOT a word for another month until I bug them again. I signed a contract with Window World of DC Inc. 12/30/2017. All 10 (ten) new windows were installed 1/7/2018. In my contract, I was promised a lifetime replacement warranty which states that if windows cannot be "repaired/fixed" they will be replaced. Over the past 2-3 years I have had continual problems with my two kitchen windows. I have called this location at least 3-4 times with the same issues -- the windows keep falling down/opening on their own even though they are fully locked and the windows come off track. I indicated each time that I usually keep my windows closed throughout my home throughout the year because of allergies. So the only time I open my windows is to clean them which averages 2 times per month. One time a tech came out and told me there wasn't anything wrong with the windows and they come off track now and then. Another tech came out and put one window back on track then left. Two of the last three techs didn't understand and/or speak English at all so it was difficult for us to understand each other. This last time I called Window World and it was the worst. I noticed about two weeks ago when I went to clean my windows that both windows were terrible off track, extra heavy, and the latches on both sides that I slide to open the windows were very hot, flipped up and seemed like they are melting. I struggled to lift both windows and to try to get them back on track and closed. This is the worst the windows have been. I knew they need to be replaced now and no "repair" or quick fix will suffice. I have arthritis in both hands and a physical disability which the company is aware of. I called the office to make an appointment and had to call several times and also leave several messages before a rep called me back. "Willie" and I played phone tag then finally he suggested a Wednesday appt. between 12-2 pm. I told him I had a doctor appt. at 1 pm so we agreed that the tech would come between 11 am -12 pm. I never received an email or text or call confirmation so called Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning to confirm a tech would be out between 11 am - 12 pm. The receptionist was very nice, eager to help, left messages and even went out to the warehouse looking for "Willie" to confirm the time change because she said he never changed the time in the computer so the tech would be out between 12-2 pm. I told her no I wouldn't be home and cannot change the appointment with my heart doctor. She then spoke to the production manager who told her the time was the same and I needed to speak with Willie who had left the office. However, Willie refused to respond to her messages or any of my phone calls and/or messages as well. I told Willie when we first spoke and the receptionist that the windows need to be REPLACED and that there is no fixing them. I told them both I needed the left screen fixed because it has never fully lowered since it was put in in January 2018. I was able to change my dr. appointment to 1:30 pm but had to leave my home at 1:05 pm. My grandson and housekeepper were at my home. I left a note for the tech requesting the windows to be replaced and the screen fixed or replaced. The tech arrived at 1:19 pm and left shortly thereafter according to my grandson. When I arrived home, my grandson said he told the tech my wishes and showed him my note. He said the tech told him in broken English. "I fix the window" and then left. No windows were replaced, but the screen was lowered properly (not replaced). I was furious and called and spoke to the receptionist and the manager. The manager was not helpful and said the windows would be replaced at the 'DISCRETION OF THE TECH NOT ME!" He also told me the tech would not be back in the office until Thursday morning and the manager would call me after speaking with the tech to see why he determined the windows don't need to be replaced. Manager told me he will send a tech back out but I have to take off work (again) and be home while the tech is onsite. I told him my dog's crate is in the kitchen under the windows - and if she gets hurt or I or my grandson get hurt, or someone breaks into my home because the windows flew open, Window World will be liable. He told me "have a nice day" and hung up. It is Sunday and I have not heard from the manager or anyone else at Window World! I would like my two kitchen windows replaced right away and a written apology from Window World! read more

Do not waste your time. Got an appointment for window consultant. The specialist David that they assigned to me have no work ethics. He rescheduled with me 3-4 times and I still haven't met him till the end. They also suggested to me that after cutting out the wall, I would have to live with no window for a month. After reading other people's review, I think 'a month' is probably just his conservative estimation. read more

I had one of their estimators come out in 2019 to provide an estimate for a new door and several windows. After spending an hour with the guy he said he would get me an estimate and never did despite several follow up calls from my end. What's really annoying is that one of their windows which had previously been installed in my home has an outer pane that is broken. Not wanting to bother them with a single window I called about the sliding door to also roll it into some larger business for them. Eventually I relented on the idea of them doing anything for me and got the sliding door installed by somebody else. But I'm stuck with their broken window. Per other posts on this site I called management and left several messages and never heard anything back. Avoid at all costs. read more

Quick update: windows are holding up well, and have had only a few problems. For example, the new front door was mounted slightly off and so had to be remounted. Re service, generally, what you'll find is that it is very easy to schedule a service visit, which is great, but the guys who come to fix things will try to do the absolute minimum necessary (or slightly less than that) and so you need to be there and watch them throughout, and then check the work carefully. There does not seem to be anything like "pride in a job well done" at all, just "do it quick and get gone". read more

We signed a contract in May 2021 to install ten windows and was told they would be installed in August. When August arrived, Window World called and said the windows had not yet arrived so they would schedule us for the first weekend in September. When September came, they again cancelled the installation and said the windows had still not arrived. I just called their customer service line to require a date of installation, as this was unacceptable to pay 50% down in May for an August installation and still be waiting a month and half later, with no installation date scheduled. The customer service rep was very angry when I reminded her of this failure and inadequacy. We are highly skeptical this review or anything will help and will definitely not recommend this company. read more

Additional charges may apply . . . https://www.windowworlddc.com/ When I spoke with Scott, the sales manager, he said the quote would come to about $600, due to two main additional unadvertised cost factors: (1) Lead containment fee of about $175, and (2) delivery fee of about $175. With regard to the lead containment, I explained my job was 1950s red brick (unpainted) and that this is a replacement of a damaged vinyl window from the 1980s or 1990s. Yet, he persisted and said I would need to provide a certificate of no lead or they are forced to charge this under government regulation. Additionally, delivery I presumed to be included, when they state "installed." You cannot install a window without bringing it along for installation. Last but not least, the sales manager kept saying that the delivery and lead fees were fixed and would be reduced by buying more windows. No matter how many windows you buy, these fees are added to the advertised $259/window, despite unit price going down per window purchased. Faulty logic. Thus, $259 does not exist. I told him I only needed one window, and wanted the advertised price. Thus, I have concluded the low price offer of $259 by Window World is false, and increases by more than 110% ((300/259)*100) with "additional fees." P.S. I gave them opportunity to make this matter right, before posting this, but they refused to allow me to contact the owner. Stay clear. There are better options out there for roof and gutters. Hired them to do a full roof and gutter system and the process and result is disappointing. Gutter guards in place that do nothing but collect debris and clog worse than having no gutters at all. Promises made during the sales process about them sending someone out to unclog if they ever get clogged but as soon as we tried to take them up on it, they say they don't deal with that. Additionally I have 1k worth of damage in our backyard from the install, during which, they threw the tear offs onto our brand new stamped concrete patio in the back and now it's chipped and damaged requiring repair. Window World replacements came recommended by a neighbor. Skeptical, we ordered the kitchen window and back door replacement to see if it was as good as the salesman claimed. After waiting for...3 months, we began calling to get the installation date. WW had not contacted us to set up the installation. During installation of the back door, the installer (separate contractor) asked for an additional $150 to cover wood replacement around the door. End result - back door replacement - poor. Wind blows through the door sill, under the door like it is open. Promise of service - multiple calls - scheduled times and dates - no show. Do not get this product. read more

Do not work with this company. Do not waste your time, your money, or your patience for this company. I do not recommend their services in any way and I certainly regret every minute I've had to deal with them. This company is one of the most unprofessional, incompetent, uncommunicative organizations I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Their sales said their company could install egress (or at least code-equivalent) windows. This is a lie. When questioned after we paid our deposit, he told me I didn't know what I was talking about and when pressed, he finally admitted it wasn't possible and immediately amended the contract without clearing it with us, just sent us the new contract, then hounded us to sign it as soon as possible. Before this, questions would be responded to infrequently. The staff at this office are rude, accusatory and incapable of communicating with each other, let alone their client. On average it took three days and five or more calls per day to speak to someone who could actually get us information on our windows. They also could never be bothered to communicate the status of our order, and when we did receive emails from them, the dates of arrival were always wrong. Then they'd call us up out of the blue to ask when we were available to install. God forbid you have to reschedule, though, they'll just ignore you until it's "too late to cancel that date". They can't even keep track of who they're calling and they get the cell numbers wrong. They like to call one of us and then the other and pretend like they're calling a single person. Their quality control is also sup-par. Two of the seven windows ordered had the wrong number of grids in them and that took another two months to get the replacements installed--and the ones replaced were broken. And they were aware at installation that they were broken and installed them anyway. I watched the two employees fiddle with them and then act like everything was fine, only to check them before sending the final payment and discover that one of the window's latches were broken and the other couldn't sit right in the frame. When we called to have someone come out and get them looked at and replaced, I was given the run around about a service call, only to be called the next day and told that I needed to make an appointment to even get a service call (the woman I spoke with just assured me they would come out sometime that day, the man, Elias, insisted otherwise). The man who came out ordered a new window for us after repairing one of them, saying the currently installed one was the wrong size. This company even had the gall to call us about payment before the replacement for the replacement window was installed and I had to explain that they would be paid when the work was finished, not before. They sputtered about it, but why should we pay for unfinished work? Not to mention their employees in general are rude, dismissive, incapable of providing information and uninterested in solving any problems. I got more answers through being connected with random phone employees than actual office employees (as a franchise, eventually you are linked to temp agency employees if the branch you're calling doesn't connect to that branch after a certain time period). How ironic that staff outside of this branch are more proficient than the people on the ground. They finally installed the replacement window on 12/29/2021, despite our attempts to reschedule and us having to make hasty arrangements due to their negligence in responding to our multiple requests. The new window is still sticking and seems to have a converse bow to it, but honestly I'm done with this company. I never want to work with them again, I never want to think of them again.. And I wouldn't bother calling corporate. It did absolutely nothing to help in the situation and nothing was resolved or even offered to be resolved. They too passed on "the message". read more

I signed a contract for replacement of 6 windows & 1 door on 3/30/23 with deposit of $2,967.36. Was told 6-8 weeks for completion. Two weeks later person arrived to measure door (measured wrong door).Heard nothing till I called them 1 month later to find out status.-didn't seem to know ,but would check on the order..should be on schedule. 5/23 called my sales person as we were on 6 week mark..was told we were still 2-3 out for delivery.. 6/5 call sales person left voice mail..called main # ..was told they would have him call me. Also they asked me "Has anyone been out to Measure Your windows?" 6/7 Called sales person..left new voicemail. We are now @ 10 1/2 weeks....this afternoon a gentleman arrives to "Measures" my Windows. I asked him to relay the message that "I want an Immediate Refund in my hands within 10 day. I will be posting a review of the inability to supply service within promised time and lack of communication after multiple attempts on my part. I would give them a -0 rating if there were a place to rate it. They came Highly Recommended to me for their service..will they now they have NEGATIVE RECOMMENDATION from me. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We ordered our windows for over $10k in November 2021. Our original delivery and install date was scheduled for February 2021. In mid-February we received an email from Taylor Greene at WW telling us the new ETA for delivery of windows was 3/2. We understand that there are COVID-related delays, so we had no problem with the new 3/2 delivery date. 3/2 has come and gone and we received no communication whatsoever from WW or Taylor Green about the status of the delivery of our windows. We waited 7-10 business days before contacting WW - we were told WW needed this time to inspect the windows after delivery - and started emailing and contacting the company. NO ONE HAS RETURNED OUR CALLS OR EMAILS. Here we are at the end of March having NO IDEA when or if we will ever have our windows. WW has stolen our deposit, as far as we are concerned. WE WILL BE REPORTING TO THE BBB. read more
