This review is a little late so I apologize for the Christmas menu uploads but my friend and I did come in for dinner on December 26th. Upon arrival we were immediately seated at a high top in the bar area. They had several big screen TVs on playing both sports and news. We came hungry and ordered a good variety of menu items including a few of their seasonal drinks as well as several shared appetizers. My favorite was the chicken eggs rolls. They really stuff them up and there's so much flavor. The dipping sauce is tasty as well. The lobster Rangoon was an accidental order, I asked the waitress how they were and next thing you know they were brought out to the table. I agreed to keep them and did enjoy them. They were a little pricey at $24 but I understand lobster isn't cheap. The bbq chicken pizza was ok but didn't have the bbq sauce flavor I was looking for. Good while hot but nothing I would order again. The side salad was literally just a bowl of lettuce so I wouldn't do that again either. I felt the menu had a lot of good options and choosing what to order was hard. Our server was great and the busser was attentive and helpful as well. I'm excited to have a place like this in the area. The vibey ambience, good service and overall yummy food makes me want to come back again and try more. This place is simply gorgeous. The decor was great. It gives you a summer island feel. I love the fact the window opens wide by the bar so u can sit inside and still have the outside feel. They also have a rooftop with a full bar, unfortunately their are only stairs to the roof. The rooftop has windows that open/close so it can be utilized in the winter. Morgan was the bartender and she was great. She has an amazing personality. I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup and fried tomatoes. Yes I read the description but aesthetically the food looked inedible and the tomatoes weren't ripped. I don't even know why they are on the menu. They need to be revamped just crab, sauce, and avocado. Perhaps the jam on the side. I ended up order the bang bang shrimp and they didn't disappoint. They were light and weren't too saucy. The flavor was perfect. We also had the lobster rangoon. Those did not disappoint either. It taster fresh. My friend ordered the lobster roll and the lobster was fresh as well and had a good flavor. Finally stopped in to try this place out. Found seats at the bar which was great. They have plenty of TVs to watch. Ordered a beer and the girlfriend had a cocktail. The place is nicely decorated and there is plenty of seats and parking. Started with broccoli cheese soup which was very good. The sausage and pasta even though not described as spicy was way too hot for the girlfriend. I ordered a pizza which was good but very greasy and had way too much cheese. Overall it is a nice addition to Munster but for this pricing just spend a little extra and go to Rosebud. read more

The restaurant is beautiful and offers an incredible amount of space. Plenty of table seating or enjoy seating at the bar. There is an upset area which has a smaller bar ans seating. There is a retractable roof, which will be amazing during the summer months. read more

Food is very bland and overpriced. Nowhere to wait while waiting for a table. Kitchen was out of about half the things we ordered. Tables can be spaced further apart. Our waiter was awesome, specifically asked if they split tips or went to him. They split which is unfortunate. I still tipped well but definitely would have tipped much better if it went to him. W happened to stop during happy hour. Got the smash burger, and drink specials. They also had oysters for $2 each so got 4. Everything was good. Drinks were margaritas which didn't pack a punch but were tasty. The loaded tots were formed potatoes with cheese and chives inside. There was pimento cheese and bacon with sour cream drizzled on top. Unusual but good! Smash burger was juicy and flavorful. My friend said the Brussels were really good as well. Previously I had only been in for a drink at the bar and that was all good. We came in here on a Monday night. They are open until 10 and we didn't get there until after 8. Great dinner trying this new for us spot. I had the chicken lettuce wraps (I would dial down the spice the next time) and my dad had the ribeye on the specials. We both enjoyed our food and drinks and plan to return. The best part though was they staff. They were super attentive even making sure to help my disabled father out of the car in the rain and then back to the car in the rain. Kudos to their wonderful service. I've been here 2xs for the happy hour and both time we all left happy after those drinks haha. When i tell you their drinks are so fire. Servers are super nice and everyone checks in on you the whole time. The food is pretty standard. Nothing to brag about but it's not bad! The ambiance is really pretty and doesn't seem like you're in NWI. They put a lot of effort into this spot. The prices outside of the happy hour are kind of high but if you want to try it go for it. The food was really good. I liked everything except for the bang bang shrimp. The pizza was surprisingly good. All they needed was seasoning. The drinks were amazing. We went for happy hour. It was so much fun. It was so beautiful outside. We did sit on the rooftop. I will be back! The service was great and attentive. We received clean dishes. Every angle in this place is a photo. It does get very busy and crowded the later it gets. It is a vibe! I can't wait to go back again and come back again in the winter time to see what it looks like with the snow. Had to wait 3-4 minutes before I said anything to them. They assumed I was with the other people waiting. Our waitress started off great but started to take forever to come back. Food was ok (I ordered the buffalo cauliflower salad, fries, and the devil made me do it (drink)) but again...not worth $74. But on the flip side, the staff was attentive and friendly. Windy City Social Club definitely brings the getaway energy--the decor and vibe had me feeling like I was on vacation. The place was packed when we arrived; we were quoted about an hour wait but got lucky--the host seated us in just 15 minutes. Small win! The food? Solid. Portions were decent, drinks were great, and the atmosphere was a total vibe. Prices were a tad steep, but not outrageous. Service was super friendly, although sloooow--our food took its sweet time. Big kudos to the busboy for checking in a few times. Now, the hiccups: we had a drink issue, but it got fixed right away--no stress there. The soup situation, though, was.... weird. I ordered the chef's soup from the main menu (French onion, and it was DELICIOUS), but the bill had a higher price. Apparently, it was on a specials menu I never saw. After some awkward back-and-forth with there server the manager fixed it, but it left us scratching our heads. The inside ambiance vibe gives Tulum, Mexico from the flowery decor and lighting for great selfies and pics. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and that family feel like they knew me. I requested a regular table but they offered the rooftop and high bar tables as well. The restaurant also offers a comfortable waiting area with couches. It doesn't stop there, each table is decorated with cute plates, napkins and decor. You are getting a cloth napkin and real silverware here, none of that paper napkin stuff. It doesn't stop there, the menu has a wide variety of options depending on your liking, all kinds of pizza options, lots of apps and even items for the vegetarian folks and all large portions for sharing. Me and my friend ordered the egg rolls, Caesar salad and the bang bang shrimp. Those shrimps were definitely banging and HUGE, the sauce was not too spicy and just the right flavor. These apps are a good choice to share with a group and plenty. The drink options are plentiful if you are needing a mocktail! I had a mango Long Island tea (not on the menu) but very flavorful. We had enough to take home and let me comment on that, the waitstaff come to your table to package up your leftovers. How many restaurants still offering this service? Not many! Our waitress, hostess and manager all checked in with us during our visit. Will I be back? When I say everything was delicious! I've never tried octopus til this night and it was amazing! Service was a 10! My date ordered a drink that wasn't what they expected and the waitress was happy to switch it out and get one that was more to their liking! Moving from the city to the south burbs I've been missing my restaurants! My wife and I are always on a search to find great restaurants our way, to avoid having to always go to the city for a great dining experience. If a new restaurants opens just KNOW I'm there! It was a nice day out, so my wife and I decided to check out Windy City social in Munster. The ambiance: The vibe and look was beautiful. Very clean, organized and the staff well dressed. The place has a airy beachy vibe to it. If you ever been to Hampton social think that in ambiance. Plants dangling. All windows surrounding the bar can be lifted in a way that it feels like your outside along a shore. They have a upstairs that's a covered rooftop that can be uncovered in the summer. It's a beautiful place. Drinks: I ordered a drink under their "special cocktail" menu. I got the churro espresso martini and my wife got her classics strawberry jalapeño Margarita. I'm a bit strict with espresso martinis, so I'll give it a 7.5! It was good, I'm just a coffee drinker and love when my espresso are made where I taste more of the fresh espresso blend verses a creamer taste. I like my espresso martinis dark at the bottom with the perfect sweet foam at the top. I'm sure the churro sweetened it up some, so no complaints. I'd order again but I'll try the original espresso martini. My wife had no complaints about her cocktail. After I ordered a crisp Prosecco and asked for a strawberry inside because my wife strawberry in her drink was nice and sweet. I wanted one. The owner overheard and gave me plenty of strawberries. No extra charge. I was a happy woman okay. Dancing in my chair. I love NICE people. Food: Everything on the menu looked tasty. Which means I'll have to come back a few times to try other things. But this time we tried the prosciutto and Arugula pizza. The pizza is super fresh and light. There was a pile of arugula on top with this nice balsamic glaze. I took some of the Arugula off just so I can really get the layers of flavor. 8/10. My wife got the oysters and said they were super fresh. And it came with 2 sauce topper choices. I don't eat oysters so I can't rate that. Staff: Staff was great! Nice warm welcome when you come in. Our waitress was CHLOE. She was so sweet and attentive. There were also managers and owners walking around to make sure not only that their staff was okay but also the guest. I like that, reminds me of great restaurants in the city. I also think it helps keep everyone on their P&Qs. I hope the customer service stays. They take reservations which I love. Parking is amazing. It's easy to spot. They also have brunch. So there's MANY reasons why I would come back. They don't open til 3 I believe. So I hope they can open earlier so us afternoon lunchers can spend money with them. I can tell summer time there will be beautiful. They have a fire place outside where couches and seating will be soon. I can see myself coming here with my book on a solo date soon! We had the best girls' night at Windy City Social! The Tipsy Chicks stopped in on Thursday and everything was amazing. Our server, Ayesha, was fantastic -- she made us the most incredible black cherry martinis. We ordered the Smashburger, the hotdog, truffle fries, and pizza, and every single item came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We visited during happy hour and loved the atmosphere so much that we stayed afterward for a glass of wine. Great place for a date. The drinks where great! The service was a kinda slow but they're still new. Think they've only been open maybe 2/3weeks so the where very busy. We started with drinks. My boyfriend got the Ol' Smokey and I got the Sky High. We both got different pizzas. I got the Eastside pizza with no blue cheese (I'm allergic). And gave me extra goat cheese. My boyfriend had the Windy City Pie. Both were great. I liked his more and he liked mine more so we traded haha. We also got the loaded tots to share. Omg! Beautiful decor, good music. There's a patio and upstairs with a rooftop. Everyone was very nice and attentive. Good service. My white sangria was ok, nothing special. The fried green tomatoes were missing a bit of salt (and no I'm not one to salt my food) they were lacking flavor. The egg rolls were average, again nothing special. My Cuban sandwich and fries however were a 10/10. The sandwich was a nice size, I could not finish it. I will definitely return and would like to try some of the other menu options. We have enjoyed dinner here 3x so far. Our service is always amazing-we always request our daughter's section :) the food has been great! So far we've had the smash burger, chicken sandwich, honey bee pizza, warm lobster roll, Thai chicken bowl, and the lobster Rangoon and friend green tomatoes apps-all delicious!!! They finally have their drink menus!! Ambiance is second to none-can NOT wait until summer when the upstairs becomes open air! Overall some prices seem super reasonable and others seem too high for what the item is. They are still technically in their "soft open" still and the menu and pricing etc are being considered daily. My wife and I went here for a nice evening. We wanted to switch things up from the normal and we settled on Windy City Social. We were NOT disappointed. We were set for a 5:30 reservation. We were allowed to sit early despite a pretty full room and bustling staff, so we ended up being sat at 4:47. We ordered a couple of drinks (Shout out to The Devil Made Me Do It) you can tell the bartender is an expert because you'll feel your face flushing within moments of the first sip, no signs of an overpowering alcohol flavor, just pure cocktail mastery. Next up, my wife and I place our orders; she, a pasta dish, myself a burger with a side of fries. Less than 7 minutes later we are presented our orders. LIGHTNING FAST. I am usually a bit of a skeptic when it comes to new restaurants, so I figured the burger was a safe bet. The only way I can describe it is; you know when you're watching Hell's Kitchen or Master Chef and you see Gordon Ramsey whip up a very simple looking burger and you wonder how it tastes? It was like being punched in the taste buds by angels. It was the perfect burger. It is a must try. The Parmesan garlic / truffle fries were as close to a perfect pairing as you could come. 10/10. My wife's pasta was perfectly aldente with a fabulous creamy tomato sauce. The surprise hit was the loaded tater tots (there were 6 and they were about the size of hush puppies) and they were breathtaking. Perfectly cooked, on top of a nice plate of cheese and Smokey bacon chunks (read cubes) and it was worth every penny. We were paid up and on our way out at 5:27, feeling full and very pleased with our to-go containers. I cannot recommend this place more for a special night out or just for something different.
