Use to love this place but unfortunately found what looks like cat hair in both my pesto flat bread and my cake.... Originally they tried to tell me that it was "just the pesto" but then it was in my cake!!! So gross. They did give me a refund but why is there animal hair in a restaurant kitchen? This place had a great selection of vegan food for those who are particular as well as plenty of other great food items. I was blown away by their blind date smoothie. I loved their juice - I had the ABC. It was really good, perfect really, and something my body was craving. I coupled this with an avocado toast, which was a nice option for a late breakfast. The interior has several tables and while we were there it was pretty quiet. I would imagine this could be a good spot for someone to work but it felt, to me, more of a social place. This was our first time here and so glad we finally tried this cafe. They have several great vegan options. Always love The Green Witch Cafe! I was so tempted to get the Sicilian panini since I got it last time and looooooved it but I got to try the portobello burger.... And it was so worth it!!!! I never had such a juicy, delicious portobello burger and I was in love! And honestly, I would take this over a meat burger since it was that good and made my belly feel great too! I also love the sweet potato chips as a side so much and it went so nicely with our sandwiches. My boyfriend got the Sicilian since I raved about it and he loved it too! One lady had the most beautiful, calming voice and was just wonderful. Found this spot by accident when I was traveling to Northwestern Indiana and looking for vegetarian-friendly restaurants. This gem sits in a spot on Highland's Main Street. You walk into to a relaxing, natural space with lots of plants. The side room is set up with comfortable furniture, and the front offers several dining tables along with some assorted merchandise (you can even purchase some of their beautiful, healthy plants)! I've been here twice now, and both visits I was extremely pleased with the quality of my food and service of the employees. They offer a host of healthy bowls, salads, soups, smoothies, juices and coffee drinks amongst other things. A bonus: many selections on their menu can be made vegan. They also do their best to offer compostable/earth friendly packaging. Good for your body and the Earth! My first visit, I ate inside and chose a fiesta salad with iced tea. The second trip I chose a Buddha bowl to go with a Witches Brew tea. Both meals were freshly prepared and quite flavorful. The Witches Brew tea had such a unique, refreshing flavor and was a nice mid day pick-me-up! I was happy to find this little haven, and they've earned another loyal customer. read more

Add pesto and a lemon squeeze to zip up the flavor. The beet salad looked good and I'll try it in the summer. Everything on the menu sounds interesting so I have to return frequently to keep trying different items. The iced tea is freshly brewed and a generous serving at $1.69. First impression = Good smoothies! Yes the prices seem to be steep (our total came out to be about $16 for a smoothie and custom juice), BUT it's about the same price as anywhere else. I tried the Tropikale smoothie and it was good. I could be wrong, but it looks like they only serve one size for the drinks but it was a good size for me! On the other hand, my bf had a juice and he finished it by the time we left the store and sat in the car. His was delicious and he custom made his. He added a boost of turmeric ($1 for a boost) and I think a boost of turmeric for $1 is a little overpriced but I'm no health smoothie expert. Either way, it's a good place to go and I will definitely be back to try out some other smoothies. read more
