Came here on sunday for brunch, got coffee, a wrap and chicklen and waffer. Big dishes of food to enjoy your brunch, people were amazing and it is a hidden gem to find around lynwood (considering not much is happening around there).

I had high hopes for this brunch spot, but unfortunately, the service (or lack thereof) made it an instant no-go for me. After standing at the entrance for 10 minutes without being greeted, I watched as a waitress with black glasses blatantly ignored us--until a white couple walked in after me, at which point she suddenly decided to acknowledge us and ask us to wait a few minutes. It wasn't just us who noticed the poor service. Two gentlemen at a high-top table also walked out after being told it would take 20 minutes just to get a hot coffee. When you see multiple customers leaving before even getting served, it's a clear sign of a bigger issue--either the staff is overworked and unhappy, or they simply don't care about customer experience. With a hungry toddler, I wasn't about to stick around to find out how much worse the service could get. There are plenty of other brunch spots in the area that actually value their customers, and I'd recommend trying one of those instead. A place like this can set the wrong tone for your whole day, and frankly, it's not worth it.

Visited here on a random Sunday for brunch and it's located in a strip mall with shared parking so that was great to find parking as a lot of the other businesses were not open. When you walk in, you'll realize that there is no waiting area no seats for a waiting area so be prepared and you are just about on top of the people who said at the high top table is right by the doors. After walking in, we were pleasantly surprised not to have to wait and receded immediately at one of those high top tables right by the doors Service was absolutely impeccable and our waitress was so friendly and on top of her game. No complaints whatsoever on the service. The menu is pretty straightforward and traditional, which is fantastic, but it also has something for everybody whether you want meat or not or if you are into some traditional combinations or skillets too I would rate this place of five however, the food does look delicious and it did taste delicious but unfortunately, when it came to, our table was at best lukewarm. We did not complain. We did not send it back. I hope not all the foods come out lukewarm, but it was probably due to the process of building up the plates and foods coming out of the fryer some coming out of a pot with gravy, etc. The pricing here is very fair and for two people with two orders of food plus coffee came out to $33 I would definitely come back here again as this was a solid choice however, I do hope for warmer food

Love this mug. They place the syrup in it with hot water to warm... #smart

Walked in. Server told us to swat ourselves. Then while looking for WHERE to sit a different server told us they'd get to us in a moment. Umm... #getittogetherplease Seated. Both coffee mugs were dirty. But then things get better. The service was sweet. The food was pretty good. My husband, a pancake eater, did NOT enjoy the pancakes. I, NOT a pancake eater, did. I think it's cuz they add cinnamon... not sure. The rye bread is so good and my over medium eggs were cooked perfectly. I don't know if I would request to return but if a friend made a suggestion, for sure. There is a lot for parking.

Market & Maple in Dyer, IN, is an absolute gem. We stopped in for breakfast this morning and were thoroughly impressed. I opted for a loaded omelette--bacon, ham, mushrooms, spinach, and cheese--all perfectly cooked and accompanied by a side of homemade cinnamon raisin toast that could easily double as a hug for your taste buds. My partner went full indulgence mode with cinnamon roll French toast and eggs Benedict, both of which looked like they belonged on the cover of Breakfast Aficionado Monthly (a magazine that should exist if it doesn't already). But what truly set Market & Maple apart was the service--spectacular in every sense. Lately, it feels like great service has become more of a nostalgic concept, something people wax poetic about in colloquial complaints to their friends. But here? They delivered the kind of attentive, friendly hospitality that reminds you what dining out should feel like. As an added bonus, the vibes were impeccable. The place had a cool aesthetic, and they were playing yacht rock--because nothing pairs better with eggs Benedict than the smooth stylings of Michael McDonald. All in all, Market & Maple isn't just a great breakfast spot; it's a beacon of hope in the service industry wilderness.

Return trip and sat at the bar. Chatted with our friendly server Jackie and enjoyed our delicious meal once again.

So it's not the easiest to find unless you're specifically looking for and or purposefully reading the signs. Since it is in a short mall, parking was very amble so that was great. When we got in, there was a little to no weight, which was also very pleasant. The place is themed with all music and rock 'n' roll art and really bright bold colors. The service was OK, but she actually forgot our coffees and I had to ask a second time and when I asked the second time she only brought over one coffee instead of the original two we ordered We ordered chicken and waffles and quite frankly she told us that these were the absolute best chicken tenders and no sauce was needed, even though it did come with sauce, and I did order the hot honey sauce and the garlic Parmesan sauce. The tenders are good because the batter is seasoned however, I expected either more tenders or perhaps a smaller plate because if you look at the picture, it's more plate than it is meat The same could be said for the country fried steak. It was such a small piece for such a big plate. It didn't really make a lot of sense. Our waitress also told us that this place had the absolute best tater tots ever so we wouldn't put the tater tots and to be quite blunt these tater tots taste no different than any other restaurant This whole area of Northwest Indiana is so saturated with breakfast brunch spots that I have to say that the food has got to elevate itself to really stand out and also to stay relevant with all the competition.

The server was nice. But the food was very mediocre. The waffles aren't cooked crispy at all, but even if they did have more crisp to them, they lacked flavor. Glad we got toppings this time. They are pretty overpriced, I've had better for less at other establishments.

Absolutely not! This was the dirtiest restaurant I've seen. Yea, they need to make repairs, but…read morerepairs aside it was just filthy. Dirt on the walls. Dirt on the tables. Floors that probably haven't been mopped in weeks, but the dirt might be holding down the floor boards. The worker behind the counter yelled across and told us to have a seat. There was NO ONE in the whole place. We didn't even sit down. We just took at look at the booths and left. If the front of house is that dirty what does the back look like. No thank you! I'm sure they'll be closed soon.

This was actually our second time coming to the restaurant; on our first attempted visit, we'd actually arrived when they were still serving their American menu, which we were not interested in. It would be helpful if their website made their split hours abundantly clear to avoid any mishaps like this. We had the dining room to ourselves for the majority of our dinner. The bulk of their business seemed to be carry-out/third party delivery services. Their menus looked well-crafted, but they had been hand-modified to update their prices, which definitely impacted their aesthetic. I ordered the Paneer Butter Masala, and my husband had the Spinach Paneer Masala. Our dishes were both okay - not the best but not the worst Indian I've ever had. We both requested mild spiciness, but my husband's dish definitely had a much stronger kick to it. We shared an order of the Paneer Kulcha, which was the best part of our experience. Delicious and generously filled with paneer. The most curious part about our experience was that when our server brought out our entrees, he asked if we wanted rice. In every Indian dining experience I've had, rice always came standard with the entrée. He brought us out a dish of rice after we confirmed that we did want it. Unfortunately, this one dish of rice was not enough for both of our entrées when we took the leftover curries home with us. For dessert, we had the Ras Malai and Gulab Jamun. Both items were tasty, although I didn't find the description of the Ras Malai to be accurate as it didn't remind me of a cheese cake at all.
