I purchased a…read moreCalligaris table with a custom top and legs which was being shipped with white glove delivery to a home in the mountains in Utah. When it arrived the ceramic top was damaged so I was told to not accept it and Ken located another one with the right combination of top and legs. When that arrived, it also had been damaged in shipping and Ken said to reject it and he found another one- same problem. I guess the porcelain tops are very fragile and require more delicate handling. Ken never gave up in the quest to deliver the perfect table I had ordered and was communicative and proactive throughout the ongoing issues never complaining once. They just delivered the 4th table which arrived in perfect condition and I couldn't be happier. I've never had such a positive experience from what was ostensibly a terrible one. Calligaris had discontined the combination I originally ordered in the meantime, but Ken persisted in getting that original combination shipped from Italy. Ken, thanks for your persistence, patience and follow-through. I can not recommend you and your store more highly!!

I was going to shop around a bit before making the purchase but I met the owner and he was so so so sweet and had a really funny sense of humor. I appreciate laughter. The chair I decided to go with was on back order but I was in no rush since I had a few months before my baby was due so that was not a problem. Once I received the chair from the manufacturer, it had a squeaking noise. A sound enough to drive yourself your crazy when trying to rock your baby to sleep. Not a good combination. I decided to call the store and spoke with the owner. He was EXTREMELY nice and worked REALLY HARD to resolve the issue. It took a few weeks for the manufacture to get back to the store owner but what I appreciated was the consistent line of communication on his end. He called multiple times updating me with any information he had and let me know I am still a priority in resolving the issue. It was eventually resolved and I couldn't be happier. We love our recliner and I plan on having this chair for many years! This store has a wonderful selection with high quality items. I definitely recommend buying from Clayton Furniture. This was easily one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've had with any business.I went in looking for a sturdy bed frame and made it VERY clear to Tony that I did not want something flimsy or cheap because I've had one break before. I specifically asked about the return policy twice and both times he confidently told me there was a 30 day return policy. Based on that, I trusted him and spent $400 on a king-size bed frame. Big mistake. I picked it up, it was built the SAME DAY, and the second I got onto the bed, it literally broke. Not after weeks or even days. Immediately. That is beyond unacceptable. A $400 bed frame should not collapse instantly. I could have bought something cheaper online that would've lasted longer than a few seconds. When I called the next day to figure out a solution, I was met with attitude right away. Instead of helping, the person on the phone acted like I was the problem. Then I'm suddenly told there is NO 30-day return policy?? I was told to come in and speak with the owner, so I did go in and Tony was there, and the moment I mentioned the bed breaking, his entire attitude changed. He became defensive, rude, and completely unprofessional. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to blame me and say I "built it wrong," which is ridiculous. I wasn't the one who built it, my father was and he even told me that the bed frame looks really flimsy and low quality. The frame was assembled correctly it's just extremely cheap and poorly made. What's even worse is that the "30-day return policy" he sold me on magically turned into a "30-day warranty for parts." That was NEVER explained upfront. That's misleading at best. His solution? For me to email them the broken part so they could replace it. Meaning I'm stuck fixing a brand new, already broken bed myself. Not only that but even if they do get me the same part I'm still going to have to buy better, sturdier, and stronger parts which is going to make the price for this horrible bed frame go up even more. I should not have to put more money into a bed frame I paid $400 for. I sent the email as requested, and it has now been 12 days with absolutely no follow-up, no resolution, nothing. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The products are cheaply made, the customer service is terrible, and the way they handle issues is unacceptable. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values honesty and quality.

Upon arriving in here, we were greeted with welcomes. The workers are helpful and friendly. Service was great! I love checking out the new items they have on display, whether that's new tea or new furnitures, there is always something special to discover! There are many hard to find items and World Market is usually my go-to for those hidden gems! One in particular are the Bon-Bons candies that reminisce high school years when they were used for fundraising. Would highly recommend this World Market and Oakland location. I added a few pieces which drove the price up some more but was necessary. The coverage plan cost a lot, but seems worth it and if you don't use it, you get it back in store credit. The biggest problem I had was delivery. Unless the item is over 6k, it's 450.00 in delivery. Between the sectional, warranty, and tax I was over 6k and that didn't apply, which I was not happy with but had no other option. Time will tell the durability of the product, but it seems nice and we enjoy it for now.
