We ordered a French dip and the ahi tuna. French dip was tasty although I cannot recommend the fries. They were soggy. Get a different side. The ahi tuna was well presented and the seaweed salad was tasty. However two out of the five pieces of ahi were inedible. Fairly nice selection of bourbons and decent wines. There are two restaurants internal to the shop. We have really enjoyed Craft Bar and still need to visit the the other. Definitely worth a stop if you're looking for some great beverages or a bite to eat. read more

LOVE! Wine world has Bordeaux! OuiOui! They also carry the Casa Amigos/George Clooney tequila in the half gallon for $119! Best price in Pirate'cola. Wine World also has the best cheese selection in Pirate'cola. We buy a lot of cheese as we make a LOT of pizza & Italian food at home. They carry the hard to find "Point Reyes" truffle cheese here, it makes a incredible pizza. They used to carry it at Baileys, but they never have it there anymore so you can find it here. They have a Gorgeous GOLD Italian pizza oven & Italian Neapolitan pizza cafe inside that is taking off like a rocket. It's very busy every time we visit & there are many people there picking up pizzas to go. You can get $10 pizzas on Wednesday's. After a long day and a movie we decided to stop by and enjoy dinner. We were quickly greeted after choosing our table. Our waiter made several recommendations and was very attentive. We started our meal with a lovely Cesar salad. The flavors were well balanced and did not cover up the taste of the fresh greens. Also, we shared it and they did not charge us for the split. We decided to have 2 pizzas, the Italian and the four cheese. Each was tasty in its own unique way. The crust was wonderful and every bite was a flavor explosion. The waiter recommended the olive oil and garlic dip for the crust which was spot on. The inside is very nice and the back room was quite. The lighting was great, not very bright and not very dark, just perfect for dinner. We will be back again for sure. read more

This is not just your average store. They are able to get items no one else can even special order. They are part of a buying group and when you call a distillery directly and they tell you can't get a product in Florida and then you walk in and see it. I can't figure this place out. My partner and I have been here many times. Sometimes the food is great, staff is on point, and it's a lovely meal. Sometimes the food is mediocre and everyone seems to have forgotten how to do their jobs. It's the same menu, same staff, generally the same time frame and days but something is broken with their consistency. We heard there was a restaurant inside Wine World now and had to visit. There are two areas to sit. There is an open to the store bistro that is cute but more casual, with cafe style wood chairs and a view of the kitchen and beautiful pizza oven. We opted for the wine bar room. It has the beautiful ambiance of an upscale restaurant downtown without feeling stuffy. We started with the baked Brie. It's a small thing, but the knife work on the green apple that came with it was perfect. Incredibly uniform, thin slices that accompanied the Brie en croute drizzled in honey and toasted whole hazelnuts excellently. We skipped the cheese plate. Options are to pick 3 or 5, or more robust boards with cured meats and many accompaniments in the $40-55 range. Normally we would go for that, but if you're really into cheese, you probably have all the cheeses on their menu in your fridge. I'd like to see some more varied and exciting options here. My husband got the simple Quattro Formaggi pizza. The fact that their dough is handmade, and made in a brick oven is incredibly evident. It was perfectly soft and chewy with a lightly crispy bottom. The crust itself they could well as bread, it's amazing. The cheese on it was fantastic. It was under $15 and the size of a standard medium pizza. Plenty to split between two people, honestly. I got the lamb Ragu which had handmade pappardelle, some truffle, porcini mushroom and I cannot recall the cheese lightly grated on top. The lamb was slow cooked and sat atop the pasta in tender shreds. This had an excellent sauce that was well balanced and the dish overall was so decadent and perfect for a chilly night. The menu had a few more pastas, soups, a handful of dinner entree selections, quite a few hearty salads with protein options to add, and really interesting small plates/appetizers including octopus, brussels, goat cheese crostini, etc. Next time I come back, it will be for lunch as the sandwiches for lunch sounded great and were well priced. In total, with two glasses of wine, our bill was $80. If this restaurant were downtown, it would surely be 25-50% more expensive. It's a great hidden gem. read more

This review would have been a 5 if it weren't for the liquor store staff. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant - the food was incredible. We decided to look for a bottle of wine to take home after we finished eating and were very rudely told the store was closed and that we needed to leave. It was 5 minutes past closing time. I understand that when a store closes, it's time to leave. However, we did not realize the store had closed and we were treated very rudely, even after our large group spent a lot of money for a birthday dinner. While the restaurant & restaurant staff were wonderful, the liquor store staff ruined our experience. read more

Been there 3 times. There are 2 older guys working the cash register and store. Asked one about certain wines and he was quite rude. Saying oh no we don't have that. And it was a common Meioni wine. Both guys quite rude and narcissistic personality and un helpful. Very cold customer service or lack there off. Needs new helpful knowledge talent. Avoid is my recommendation. Way better wine stores in pensacola than Wine World. read more

Husband and I sat down for dinner tonight. It took more than 20 minutes to be greeted after the initial host sat us and then we had to flag the server down to ask for him to take our order. 15 minutes after, he came back just to inform us that the wine we ordered couldn't be located. Another 15 minutes goes by and still nothing. We watched him serve multiple people their drink and food orders, including numerous tables after us. For comparison, one couple came in minutes before us and had 2-3 glasses of wine plus their food delivered - including something wrong with the order so it was sent back - while we still just waited on our wine. After we saw yet more served, we walked out and won't be coming back. I wish I could say this was based on food or beverage but it was based on the poor and inattentive service.
