The experience here from a customer service standpoint was so unbelievably poor that I find it incredible, and really more funny and slapstick than reason to feel angry about it--llike I was in the middle of a Saturday Night Live skit Myself and a couple of friends popped in to watch Texas Tech basketball and enjoy beer and wings. or french fries, in my case. It took the waitress about 25 minutes to come over and take our drink orders and during that 25 minute time, the two ladies in our party left the outdoor patio and do a little reconnaissance to look inside and report that our waitress was standing at the bar chatting with a couple of coworkers, which she continued to do for at least 10 minutes, lol The girls were getting mad, but I think I made up mind not to let anything throw me and just accept everything with a sense of irony and humor, though the two ladies in my party would not hold themselves to that degree of stoicism. I had given up meat for a little while, all I ordered were fries and a couple of dipping sauces. About an hour went by and our waitress just happened to pop by and said that she was very sorry, but that the kitchen staff had walked out en masse! The entire staff quit at once! Lol. And that we could expect a delay, that is, more of a delay. The girls finally got their food and they were fine except I had still not received my french fries, and I was still maintaining my Zen, but the girls were becoming increasingly indignant on my behalf. The straw broke the camel's back when at the two-hour mark, a large party close to us on the patio were served a giant basket of hot, golden french fries "Aren't you going to say something?" I replied no, The epically bad service was worth the experience which was becoming more bizarre by the hour. Two hours had elapsed and still no french fries. After pleading with me, I finally relented and let the girls go inside to try to get my issue addressed. They were successful and apparently found somebody in charge A couple of minutes later, the manager came out and said, " we apologize, Your friend brought your problem to our attention, but our Kitchen quit all at once--but I am going to comp your ticket" I only had fries and a Coke, so it wasn't a grand gesture - but I appreciated the gesture, and the acknowledgment. So finally after almost 3 hours of waiting, the fries reached the table and the waitress asked if I wanted ketchup and I mentioned to her that I had originally ordered a couple of wing sauces to dip the fries in and she came back with them in due time. Except when we were ready to leave, I was presented a bill for $1.09-what the two 2-ounce sauces on the side cost plus tax,lol. It was worth $1.09 just for the story. I was feeling magnanimous so I even left a few bucks for the tip. The service was historically slow, but I guess I understand the dire circumstances under which they were operating at the time and that the manager attempted to make amends, but I'm glad I made up my mind from the outset not to let myself get angry or annoyed, but just to smile, go with the flow and enjoy the shit show, which I did thoroughly! read more

Had an absolutely terrible experience at a prior establishment, so me and my family decided to come here for wings and to watch football. We sat in Kymberli's section and she is just the sweetest! The wings were huge and crispy and my niece's burger was the size of her head damn near. What a pleasant experience. I was excited to try some delicious wings while I was in Texas and thought that this place would fix my appetite. I was wrong, the food took nearly an hour after ordering, despite it not being busy, my order was rung up incorrectly, and I was only visited by the waiter 1 time after ordering. Possibly the worst service I've seen at a place ever... I have ordered here several times for convenience and because the food tastes decent. They always take a long time to make my food, they rarely answer the phone and then make ridiculous excuses as to why, one time they completely lost my order between me calling and me arriving and then I waited nearly an hour for food. This place is always such a disaster every time we order. the service is actually garbage and i don't say that lightly. today my boyfriend called to place a to go order, got put on hold, after about five minutes he started putting his shoes on and driving there because every time we call we are on hold for like 25 minutes. it's about 15 20ish minutes away and by the time he got there he was still on hold.. he decided to go in and place an order inside instead and said he had been on hold to which the waitress rudely replied that it's "hard for her to be on the phone with two people at once". he was on the phone for about 20-25 minutes waiting and had enough time to literally drive there yet he's the annoying rude customer. ive worked in customer service my whole life i understand being busy and dealing with multiple customers at once, but in no world should a customer be on hold for that long, it's especially bad when it's everytime we call. and it's crazy to then give a customer attitude over it as well. and my boyfriend tends to be very polite to customer service workers as well so i'm not sure why she felt comfortable responding the way she did. wildly overpriced, terrible service, i like the food enough, besides the scent of literal mold in the entire establishment, it's tasty i guess. read more

I visited Wing Daddy's twice before sharing my impressions. The place is clean, the food tastes good, and their entertainment choices are fine. Their service and service concepts need improvement. When you walk in, there is no one to greet you. Eventually a waitress will come over to let you know you can sit anywhere, then wander off - you get service when the waitress for your chosen seat figures out that you are there. My second visit it took more than 45 minutes for a lunch special to come out - there were only about a dozen patrons when I arrived. My fries and wings were clearly fried longer on that visit than the prior visit - it made the fries very crisp but made the wings border on dry inside. The place needs an involved manager to work through the "bugs" and make it a good place. read more

The server was not attentive at all after i sent the sandwich back and said I didn't want it. We asked for silverware and never got it. When paying our check the server apologized and said it was her third day. I feel for her, but the restaurant was not busy at all, and if it was her third day somebody should have helped her with our 9 top table. I never complain, never. I worked customer service for a very long time and I get it, but half of the food we received should never have been brought to the table to begin with. read more

Our server was barely around and when she brought out the food she only got one of the three orders she brought out correct (five of us ordered). It then took over half an hour to even get another one of our orders out and her excuse was that they were "out of wings and had to get more". Us and maybe 4 or 5 other tables with some singles at the bar. Theres great parking, but the staff just seems to not care that they have tables? They were taking forever to come out and we didnt know why, when they finally did, they were loaded with sauce. Come to find out after taking the first bite, our wings were super burnt. The fries you have to order separately because they're not included with the wings. But as much as you pay for the wings, the fries aren't worth buying. They're stale and just gross. The staff always look clueless, have minimal communication/people skills, and half the time they forgot to bring something we ordered. The last time I went, I placed a to go order and was told it would be about 20 minutes, which was okay! However, when I got there on time, I was told they were a little behind and it would be 10 more minutes. If it were just me, it would be annoying but understandable. But, it gets a lot more irritating when you have a hungry toddler coming up on nap time, and you placed the order almost an hour ago. 2 Stars was generous. Slow inexperienced service and cold food. We did go at one of the busiest times Friday night dinner. The wait staff was so slow and not attentive. Multiple times we saw servers wondering around looking where to drop food off and asking customers wheat they had ordered. Our waitress forgot about our drinks. We ordered an app which came out long before our water and tea. We didnt have plates or napkins which she forgot about. We had to repeatedly ask for plates, napkins and our drinks. The name insinuates that the institution considers themselves to be the biological father of the creation of wings. Due to the confusion of sauce to wing ratio, they reached out to me via telephone and did what any food critic would do. Put it to the test. Because isn't that what this beautiful nightmare known as LIFE is.. HONEY BBQ TENDERS:we start our endeavor with the honey BBQ tenders. At first glance, you would think that these adult chicken nuggets would be bombarded with flavor considering the amount of sauce they are drenched in.. Unfortunately the sauce itself tasted like a a mix between sweet baby Ray's and playground sand. There was a grainy essence that should never be accompanied by BBQ sauce. Unless they used the honey from the common sand wasp, I saw no need for sand paper like consistancy. The amount of of breading used on the tenders was equivalent to the amount of make up used by a rookie street walker in Cd. Juarez, too much. But the real audacity here was the chicken. Speaking as someone that came from the struggle, the chicken flavor and consistancy was that of an about to expire bag of chicken cutlets found in the corner of a freezer of your local Food King. If Federal Prisons were to create a hang out spot for inmates to enjoy replica foods from the free world, this would be it. Garlic Parmesan Boneless Wings: The flavors I experienced could be achieved by simply going to Sonic's, ordering Boneless Wings, rinsing them off with tap water, and rubbing a clove of garlic on them.. there was no Parmesan infusion that could be detected anywhere in the cuisine. Chicken and Waffles: The waffles we're dryer than a crackheads elbows in West Texas sand storm during August. It was as if they threw a couple of slices of great value bread in a waffle iron and called it a day. I've tasted TDCJ cardboard pancakes that had more moisture than that..The ranch sauce was phenomenal tho!. Final Thought: When it comes to providing a house of sauce with delectable chicken wings to go with it...Wing Daddy's.....YOU ARE NOT THE FATHER!!! The best part of this culinary expedition was the Parmesan chicken bites due to the fact they had no flavor and the delicious ranch sauce did all the Justice for it.
