When I was sick I needed Alka-Seltzer, I needed toilet paper (lol pre-pandemic keep that in mind lol) I needed a light bulb, I needed a TV dinner, I needed a bottle of wine, I needed a pair of socks, I could text them and get a response within 10 minutes and have something delivered within an hour. This service existed before all of the other delivery services - you know, the big corporations. When they were on their way, they would text and gently knock on the door. (Again, pre-pandemic.) Such friendly delivery persons - I had a regular who I always liked to chat with for a few minutes. He insisted that a tip was not expected. It was 2am, I wanted to tip! Very honest, good morals, ethics etc... During pandemic: same level of service but with text and no physical contact. Very safe and resourceful. Their hours have changed but their level of service has not changed. They are pioneers in delivery services.

Chips were fresh, portion as huge for the low $5 price tag, and they were generous with the toppings. Their old-school ticketed ordering system helped keep things running smoothly and ensured everyone got what they ordered, as they turned their ticket stub in to pick up their food. Their website indicates that they do general catering, and I'd be interested to hit up the truck if I see it again to see what other food they put out.

The packaging is simply adorable! The cookies weren't what I had hoped for though: they were stale and all tasted the same, like lemon. Perhaps the lemon cookie in the variety pack somehow overpowered the flavors of the rest. I usually love just about all cookies. But I'm super particular about them: I want chewy textures. This batch was dry. Not crispy, just too stiff. Perhaps a dunk into some sort of milk could help, but the lemon flavor still would overpower the rest of the cookie flavors. Maybe I will try again another time, but instead of delivery, I'll visit the shop in person in hopes of a more fresh variety.
