My husband and I decided to finally try Wingstop one day for a late lunch . Customer service was friendly , it did take longer than expected to receive our order, but we were in no rush , so we didn't mind. Overall , we really enjoyed our wings and fries. The parmesan wings were my favorite, and my husband enjoyed the Louisiana wings . The ranch dipping sauce was yummy as well. Our 3 year old enjoyed the Parmesan fries and the BBQ wings . I go here out of convenience and that's about it. The wings are good. The dining room is usually empty so I'm assuming online and phone in orders are big here. We order online and it tells us 15-20 mins and almost every time we end up waiting 30+ minutes. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that there are a lot of online orders but if that's the case set up a better ordering system with more accurate wait times. I understand that maybe that's something that can't be fixed by the restaurant and may be something for corporate. Now on to the things the restaurant can control. Just about every time we order the fries are cold. As far as service - we usually order in the evening and the person at the counter looks miserable. I feel like an inconvenience. I'm not asking for Dutch brothers crawl in your car and ask me what I'm doing with my day levels of service (frankly I avoid DB because of that). Maybe just a simple friendly greeting would be good. I understand jobs, especially service jobs, tend to suck. What good is being miserable and letting everyone know doing? Update: I went here again just last night. I ordered online again and this time instead of doing the ASAP option I set the pick-up time for 45 mins from when I ordered. Since I usually end up waiting this long anyway when I do the ASAP option I figured it would be better. Well I was wrong. I order right around 7pm and put the pick-up time as 7:45pm. When I arrived the crew seemed busy in the back which is fine. The phone started ringing while I waited and after a few rings someone came up and greeted me but then told me to wait a second and answered the phone and started taking an order. The order was taking a minute so FINALLY someone else came up and asked if I was there to pick up. I arrived somewhere between 7:45 - 7:50pm, so with in 5 mins of when my order was set to be ready. After ringing me up the person hands me the bag that has the time 7:28 on it and I asked if that was the time it was ready. They said yes. I live about 15 mins from this location so by the time I got home (I left the location at about 7:55ish and got home at about 10 after 8pm) my food had been done for just over 40 mins. All of our food was cold and had to be reheated. I've worked in restaurants for about 10 years now and I know how to reheat food properly but other might not and get sick from this situation. Now after the first part of my review wingstops manager responded and also asked if the manager could contact me about my experience. I gave them a good phone number and a good time to call and didn't hear from anyone. I don't want a free meal. I want to have a hot meal. Really disappointed. Placed an online order and got my email confirmation at 6:42pm. We didn't get our food till 7:17pm which is past the time estimated time was 16-21 mins. We drive home open up our order and we are missing some of our order. It is our fault for not checking the order. But it is also their fault for not verifying what is packaged. My husband called letting them know we were missing an order and told them we were on our way. I live 10 mins away so i figured that they would be ready. I get there and they are not busy at all. Employees are nice but now I'm sitting here waiting an extra 10-15 mins. When the food that should have been made, should have been ready for me to just come pick up. We went there on February 14, 2020 placed the order over the phone. ordered 1 dozen wings (6 barbeque and 6 lemon pepper) extra crispy. went to pick up the order,I asked again "Is this the extra crispy?" We were told "Yes it is extra crispy". When we got home at found that the dozen chicken wings were not crispy at all. I would rate this a zero if I could. I ordered 50 wings online at 11:30am for a 6:00pm pick up. I am still waiting for my order 45 minutes later! Today is a busy day with a big fight on TV and the place is under staffed and I am watching the person in the back ripping off orders and throwing them away. Customer service is so awful here. I try to go here probably once a week everyone in the back will be doing nothing and they tell me it's a 45 min wait typically it ends up being only 20 min. I've been coming here for months since I moved back to QC and I was so excited to be able to have this close to me because I love their Original Hot and Lemon Pepper flavors, but after 3 different visits and the most god awful customer service from the manager in the back that calls out order names, I will never come back here. All 3 counter people who are usually there are super nice and I've gotten familiar with them but unfortunately they don't make up for his despicable behavior toward customers. Yeah!!! QC decided to add something other than a pizza place! I stopped in here yesterday to check it out because I have never been to a Wing Stop. Yes it is a chain but they are locally owned. I have to say it was pretty good. Pros - nice and friendly staff, clean well put together facility, good selection of wings and the most important..... the wings were delicious! Only con - since they make them when you order them, it takes a bit to get your order out to you. I had the garlic parmesan and the mild. I definitely recommend the garlic parmesan they were delicious and the mild were tasty like every other mild out there, but tasty. Excited to go back and try all their different flavors. Came here on Sunday for lunch since I've never been. Walked in to a few people waiting for a takeout order and another couple sitting in the dining room who were also waiting for their food. Facility was very tidy and clean. Nice TV's with games on for the guests to enjoy. Decided to grab a small order of 8 wings with two flavors- Hawaiian and original hot. For it being a wing restaurant, they sure don't have a lot of sauce flavors. There are 11 total but they didn't have staple flavors like medium, honey BBQ, or honey hot on the menu. Wings were mediocre at best. The flavors were off for typical wings. Point blank, they just didn't taste good. The size of the wings were great! The concept of the restaurant is there. I ordered 6 wings and celery, was quoted an 18 minute wait (random number, but ok). 36 minutes later I approach the counter and alert them that three people who came in after me had already been served. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. There is a reason that this restaurant has TWO stars on yelp. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT SPEND OR WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I have never had as horrible of an experience as my husband and I did at this Wingstop location. My husband placed an order online on July 22, 2022. At the time that we ordered online, it said it would take about 16 to 22 minutes for our food to be complete. My husband went to the restaurant 30 minutes after we placed the order, thinking that our food would be finished. He was told by an employee that he had to wait 5 more minutes for his food after he paid. Then 10 more minutes passed, without his food, and asked the same employee for a refund. This employee then told "the shift manager" who was very rude, telling him to wait and take food. My husband did not want the food any longer, so he asked for a refund. The name on the receipt of this employee says JoAnn -- but the employee had red hair, glasses. If my husband chose to wait, that would be a total of 45 minutes for the food to be complete and a total of 15 minutes he had waited inside the restaurant for food that WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE. Now mind you, there's a kitchen of about eight employees full of people, and for some reason orders were not being completed when they were promised. He did not accept the food, and asked the cashier to refund him his money. She refused, was very rude to my husband, and actually cursed at him. Furious at this point, because of the customer service that my husband has received, he obviously gets upset and asks for the employees general manager. At this time, the general manager is actually walking out the door to his car. Now mind you, again, we are in the middle of a DINNER RUSH and orders are not being completed on time, and the general manager is walking out the door. He does not even try to help out his employees. So, my husband walks out the door to follow the general manager and ask him for a refund himself. This "shift manager" then curses at my husband, yelling at him not to f***ing follow the GM. I did not get the GM name at this time. The GM was just as rude as the other employee. He also refused to give my husband a refund. Also -- just for context, we did not pay for this order online, so he was trying to tell my husband that he could not refund the money because it was an online order. He wanted my husband to wait until he called the district manager, then he would have to wait for it to be approved, etc., trying to have him jump through hoops just so he didn't have to give him the refund right then and there. However, we paid at the restaurant. This was just the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!!!! So, naturally, my husband was upset, and furious at this point. The general manager then accuses my husband of threatening the cashier. So what does the general manager do? He calls the police on my husband. He calls them because HE feels scared of my husband. Now mind you, there is a whole lobby full of people eating and enjoying their dinner, and they witnessed this whole encounter. I even spoke with one of the witnesses that was there and she told the police that my husband did not threaten anyone or any employees. I, myself his wife, was also on the phone with him hearing every single thing that was going on before I went to the restaurant myself. So, the police came to the restaurant and basically tried to mediate a situation that could have been resolved by the general manager giving MY HUSBAND HIS REFUND, which the police said he should have done. The general manager then after all of this drama, ended up VOIDING the transaction altogether..... in less than 30 seconds. And guess what? Now the general manager has chosen to ban my husband from returning to this Wing Stop for one year. In addition, this general manager and this franchise location decided at this point to waste our tax dollars for the police to come to this restaurant for a situation that was not needed. The fact of the matter is, the management here and the employees here are incompetent, lazy, and unprepared to handle a very simple situation. This is the worst customer service my family and I have ever received. WE WILL NEVER give our money back to this establishment or ANY Wing Stop for that matter. I can promise you that anybody in the Queen Creek area will know about how horrible and distasteful this location and this company is. In addition, I have reached out to the corporate office TWICE now in a matter of three weeks, and have not received a call back from the district manager, the corporate office, or from the general manager. I AM APPALLED THAT THIS COMPANY ALLOWS THEIR EMPLOYEES AND THEIR MANAGEMENT TO ACT IN SUCH A HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL WAY. Heard good things and wanted to try this place out. Thought I'd give the boneless wings a whirl. Not a big fan. Straight from the freezer to the fryer. I guess that's one way to get consistency in a chain. I assumed that they were fresh based on the price, but as I was waiting for my order I watched a lady in the kitchen accidentally drop a whole bag (maybe 5lbs) of frozen boneless wings and they scattered across the floor. I love me some Wingstop and while all locations I've been to have been awesome, this location in queen creek is the first I've seen the guy actually walk out the order to all customers' tables. Second, place is not clean: sticky tables and chairs, no trash cans, crew goes straight from handling phones and register to servings food! No hand wash in between! Third, boneless wings were overcooked and hard outside, but cold and undercooked on the inside. And the worst: undercooked chicken made my kids sick! When I spoke to the manager she wouldn't acknowledge the issues. Instead she was full of excuses and no solutions... She was absolutely sarcastic and unpleasant. Ordered 100 wings, got 6 boxes w a total of 65 wings. I specifically asked the employee if they were all there before I left and he said they were. Called the restaurant 9 times over 1 hour and they never answered or ringing line went to disconnected. All I wanted was to order more wings and have them delivered. We ordered the meal for 2 15 bone in wings with Louisiana rub and lemon pepper to go. It seemed to take 30 min for our order to be made. While we were waiting we were disturbed by how many flies there were in the restaurant. Even the couple 2 tables down were being annoyed by the flies. When we got our order the girl wasnt sure if it was our order and then asked us if we had already gotten our food....it was in her hand...the wings were hot because we could feel through the paper bag. The disappointment was when we got home....the skin was bouncy and didnt seem fully cooked...we placed the wings in the microwave for about 2 min and still had a rubbery feel. How can they come out that way when we waited for such a long time....very disappointed and wont be coming back. Walked in, girl at the register didn't even make eye contact and greeted with the most forced "welcome to wing stop" ever, I almost started laughing. Never asked if I was ready to order, just sat there on her phone until I asked if she was ready.
