    Godfather's Pizza

Godfather Pizza, although an older establishment, is a new arrival here in Queen Creek. It is small, and a quaint pizza joint with minimal, indoor seating. There are not a lot of options outside of your usual garlic bread, monkey bread, appetizers in addition to a few different types of pizza. It is great for kids because they have a small pizza that is the perfect, shareable size for kids. The pizza comes out pretty fast and is definitely inexpensive compared to other, local pizza places. The service was great, there are not a lot of drink options, you can get a few different types of salads, and parking is available in the lot. There are fun pieces of heart hanging about.Overall, the pizza was good-the kids loved it, and if you were looking to get pizza for your kids, it's a pretty quick inconvenient place to do so.

What a little gem! We ordered in store and it took only 15 minutes for the pizza to be ready. There are crust options and many topping options as well. We ordered a medium all meat combo with golden crusts. The size was perfect for my husband and I to share. They go as big as an XL size. Pizza is decently priced and tasted delicious! The place was clean and there are seats available to dine inside. Service was very friendly! No complaints and I will definitely be back.

Came here with friends, as we'd been jonesing for Godfather's since hearing they were opening. I know they've only been open less than two weeks, but now I see EXACTLY why they have low-star ratings so far. First of all, this "restaurant" is VERY small, only having FOUR tables. Second of all, there's barely any room to wait for your food, let alone be able to get around in. The cashiers are very nice, but overall, the workers here are CLUELESS! In the time we were there, FOUR pizzas were made incorrectly, including my friend Melanie's pizza, & she waited FORTY-FIVE MINUTES for hers! Totally unacceptable & inexcusable! The manager at least took a good percentage off her bill to make up for it but still! I could hear shouting in the kitchen. Not good for customers to hear that. ALL they have to offer for drinks is bottled water, unless you buy a 2-liter of soda but who wants to chug that? The ONLY good thing that came out of this visit (other than the laughter my friends & I shared throughout our hangout), is the fact that the pizza was still as delicious as I remember from the past. I REALLY hope this place ups their game & works out all the kinks because they have the potential to be successful & besides, their pizza & salads are so darn good! It makes me sad seeing a good place fail & I really want to give this place the benefit of the doubt since they're still newly opened & are learning. I WILL return again once the hype dies off a bit...especially since the Taco Pizza & Hawaiian Pizza are my favorites!

Another delicious pizza from Godfathers pizza today. I ordered online and my pizza was ready when I arrived. My only suggestion for the management would be to add a fountain drink station for those who decide to dine in. They do offer 20 oz bottles of soda but an ice cold beverage would be great.

I ordered from Godfather's today and went in to pick it up. I was early - my order stated it would take 35 minutes - and sat inside to wait. The restaurant was sparkling clean, the seating was very comfortable, and while limited, I'd definitely go back and eat in if there was a table available. Otherwise, I'd be good with takeout. My pizza came out about 10 minutes early and was just as delicious as I'd hoped for. I sat at a nearby park and ate it. Unfortunately I forgot to grab a photo before I had a bit and the photo's blurry, but the pizza was very good. I had pepperoni, mushrooms, and onions. I loved that the onions were small pieces because that allowed for a good distribution of onions on each slice. There were lots of toppings and they were very generous with the cheese. The young staff members that were working were friendly, eager to help, welcomed me in and made sure I had everything I needed. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try!

I was happy to see that Godfather's pizza was opening an actual storefront in AZ. Currently they are located inside of gas stations and nowhere near the East Valley. For opening day, ordering online was easy. It told me a 40 min. wait which I believe was good. Pickup was easy. There were quite a few people waiting but they were shouting out pick up names. There's some tables available for eating. It's not like an old school restaurant ambiance if you ever ate at Godfather's Pizza back jn the day but it's a nice area as most pizza places don't even have a sit in option anymore. Ambiance was friendly and lively: not relaxing right now but they just opened. I will likely review this again in a few months to see how the pace is after the adrenaline rush is over. Overall though, I say try it.

First time trying pizza from Godfather's and it was amazing! I love the mini pizzas. Fresh and delicious.

We had super high hopes for this nostalgic pizza but it certainly did not meet our expectations. Not only was it delivered 40 mins past when it was supposed to which was an hour wait to start, it was clear the pizza had sat for a very long time as well. It was cold, hard, and dry. Esp the desert pizza, very dry and sadly nothing like what it was. Not sure we will be back.

I grew up in Washington State with many Friday nights at Godfather's Pizza. I saw one was open in Arizona and had to have it. I live in North Phoenix, but wanted to bring the pizza home for my family, so I ordered a pizza delivery bag to keep the pizza warm. I drove an hour (102 miles roundtrip) to pickup the pizza and get it home for my family. Pizza was ready on arrival and warm when I got home. Absolutely loved this pizza growing up and it tasted just the same and my kids liked it better than Barro's. I hope we get one closer to us eventually. Even with these crazy gas prices, I didn't care and made the trek! Delicious pizza!

For all that grew up in the Midwest and have been craving godfather's Pizza , this will definitely punch the ticket..... Taste exactly like godfather's Pizza in Nebraska when I was growing up... And if you've never tasted godfather's Pizza, do yourself a favor and give it a try...... Best tasting Pizza in the valley..... Well done Godfathers!

I like how they have their own seasoning for the fries! I haven't seen a fast food restaurant besides Freddys in my area have a fry seasoning in their French fries. Yummy! : My grandma ordered the Blue Zalad and thought it was awesome. She said the chicken and lettuce was fresh and tasty. The blue cheese dressing was good too. Sauces: The Zax Sauce did NOT disappoint. I've heard great things from my friends about this sauce and pretty much came here to see what all the craze was about! To be honest, I loved it! : The cookies were great! I loved how the chocolate chips made its way through each bite of the cookie. For $2.99, you can get three cookies. : The bread was alright, probably my least favorite part of my meal. It wasn't as good as Raising Canes. It was just a grilled piece of toast. : It's around $10-$15 per person, which isn't bad, but still a little much. For three fingers, a toast, and a drink, it was $10. Service: The service was good. The lady who took my order was kind and patient as I looked at the menu for what to order. My food came zippy quick, and began eating in no time! Did you know this is the first location besides the East Coast area? Yep! Zaxby's was an enjoyable dinner. I see myself coming back here again for that sauce and fries, ha ha!

Not under seasoned as some had said. They were also very fresh and tasty. I tried the Zax sauce and it was delicious! Also a huge portion. Not a tiny little sauce cup. All that says, I will be making another trip or rather place another order for delivery! Yumm Zaxbys!

We started off with a few adult beverages & wings Did the two sauces (12 ct) buffalo bbq & buffalo garlic parmesan. So surprised by the taste of the buffalo garlic parmesan. Best one "flavor wise", we've had out thus far. Great wings! For our pizza again we did the build your own. Went with the thin crust topped with pepperoni, garlic and fresh basil. It came out piping hot, fresh and fantastic. The crust was amazing. Light & crispy and held up to those ingredients perfectly. The way that the pizza is presented and cut into those grids gives it a stylish dimension & easier to share amongst others. A genius creation to make it effortless to handle. Atmosphere was fun. Another pizza day at home and this time around we decided to try out Crusty Pizza. This place has been popping up on my Yelp feed over and over again, so we caved and gave it a shot. And why not? It had a plethora of glowing reviews. The order: 1 large specialty pie, 1 large pepperoni pie, and 1 small pepperoni and mushroom pie. This place is located on San Tan Blvd. One of the many sneaky spots on this road that looks seemingly dead, but if you are paying attention you immediately start noticing all the business along it. If you haven't driven down San Tan Blvd, I encourage you to do so. A lot of hidden gems there. We arrived at crusty's and were instantly greeted by the very helpful staff. The establishment was very clean, which is always a welcome sight. The prep area is very visible. They have a home made dough. Which was a good start. The I had one slice of each of the pies we ordered. The dough was cooked well. Crispy and fluffy all at once. It had a lil char on the crust but could have been a little more charred. I don't know about you, but there is something about those big black bubbles on the crust that really make it good. They don't bake their pies in a gas or brick oven pizza. They have one of those electric assembly line type ovens. The one you put the pizza in on one side and it rides the conveyor belt to the end which completes the cook. I really think this pizza would benefit a lot from a traditional over either gas or brick. Especially that crust. The toppings were fresh and very well distributed. Not too much and not too little. Just right. Goldie locks would love that. The one true disappointment here is the sauce. It's not a bad sauce, but it's not a good sauce either. In fact it just sauce. It had no flavor to it. I ate my first slice and oh maybe it this pie. I tried the next and then the next. Same results. Just no flavor to it. I would have said it was me. After all I'm on this high protein diet and it's altered my taste buds, but my wife unprompted turned to me said "this pizza isn't bad, but the sauce doesn't have any flavor". All in all Crusty is worth a try, but I encourage the owners to season their sauce a bit more. The sauce is soooo important to a good slice. Also... get an oven. Their prices are extremely reasonable boarding on generous. A small price hike would still be good pricing and allow you to get a real oven to cook your pies in.
