The thin crust pepperoni was quite literally the best pizza I've ever had in my entire life. I would hiiiiighly recommend the thin crust too - it stayed crispy the entire time with no signs of sogginess at all. My wife and I are Midwestern folks and love Casey's taco pizza, well this is as close to it as you are going to get in Arizona. Pizza was great just had to add own our own chips. We called in our order tonight and Brandon took it, very pleasant and answered all my wife's questions about the pizza. When the Uber Eats guy delivered our pizza the store forgot our cold stuff (lettuce, tomatoes and cheese) which sucked! I called the store and Brandon was awesome and very apologetic about the issue. He didn't have any drivers to run it out so he credit us for next time. 3 mins after hanging up he called back offering to run them out to us personally, but I was already in route to pick them up, can't have taco pizza without the cold stuff. What a little gem! We ordered in store and it took only 15 minutes for the pizza to be ready. There are crust options and many topping options as well. We ordered a medium all meat combo with golden crusts. The size was perfect for my husband and I to share. They go as big as an XL size. Pizza is decently priced and tasted delicious! Another delicious pizza from Godfathers pizza today. I ordered online and my pizza was ready when I arrived. My only suggestion for the management would be to add a fountain drink station for those who decide to dine in. They do offer 20 oz bottles of soda but an ice cold beverage would be great. read more

Came here with friends, as we'd been jonesing for Godfather's since hearing they were opening. I know they've only been open less than two weeks, but now I see EXACTLY why they have low-star ratings so far. First of all, this "restaurant" is VERY small, only having FOUR tables. Second of all, there's barely any room to wait for your food, let alone be able to get around in. The cashiers are very nice, but overall, the workers here are CLUELESS! In the time we were there, FOUR pizzas were made incorrectly, including my friend Melanie's pizza, & she waited FORTY-FIVE MINUTES for hers! Totally unacceptable & inexcusable! The manager at least took a good percentage off her bill to make up for it but still! I could hear shouting in the kitchen. Not good for customers to hear that. ALL they have to offer for drinks is bottled water, unless you buy a 2-liter of soda but who wants to chug that? The ONLY good thing that came out of this visit (other than the laughter my friends & I shared throughout our hangout), is the fact that the pizza was still as delicious as I remember from the past. I REALLY hope this place ups their game & works out all the kinks because they have the potential to be successful & besides, their pizza & salads are so darn good! It makes me sad seeing a good place fail & I really want to give this place the benefit of the doubt since they're still newly opened & are learning. Second time trying this new place. Ordered online easily. Pizza was ready when we arrived. Cashiers were courteous. Ordered the individual size, with sausage's, mushrooms and green peppers. Sausage was good, but not the prominent flavor which was green peppers. Enjoyed the pizza, which was very filling with the thick doughy crust. I ordered from Godfather's today and went in to pick it up. I was early - my order stated it would take 35 minutes - and sat inside to wait. The restaurant was sparkling clean, the seating was very comfortable, and while limited, I'd definitely go back and eat in if there was a table available. Otherwise, I'd be good with takeout. My pizza came out about 10 minutes early and was just as delicious as I'd hoped for. I sat at a nearby park and ate it. Unfortunately I forgot to grab a photo before I had a bit and the photo's blurry, but the pizza was very good. I had pepperoni, mushrooms, and onions. I loved that the onions were small pieces because that allowed for a good distribution of onions on each slice. There were lots of toppings and they were very generous with the cheese. The young staff members that were working were friendly, eager to help, welcomed me in and made sure I had everything I needed. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try! read more

I was happy to see that Godfather's pizza was opening an actual storefront in AZ. Currently they are located inside of gas stations and nowhere near the East Valley. For opening day, ordering online was easy. It told me a 40 min. wait which I believe was good. Pickup was easy. There were quite a few people waiting but they were shouting out pick up names. There's some tables available for eating. It's not like an old school restaurant ambiance if you ever ate at Godfather's Pizza back jn the day but it's a nice area as most pizza places don't even have a sit in option anymore. Ambiance was friendly and lively: not relaxing right now but they just opened. I will likely review this again in a few months to see how the pace is after the adrenaline rush is over. went to the new godfather's pizza on queen creek and wow a taste I had forgotten. brought be back to my childhood in IA. the taco pizza was delicious and if you live far away ask them to put the toppings on the side. No chips but if you know that ahead of time just pick some up. Had the ham and pineapple with thin crust. Not only was it delivered 40 mins past when it was supposed to which was an hour wait to start, it was clear the pizza had sat for a very long time as well. It was cold, hard, and dry. I grew up in Washington State with many Friday nights at Godfather's Pizza. I saw one was open in Arizona and had to have it. I live in North Phoenix, but wanted to bring the pizza home for my family, so I ordered a pizza delivery bag to keep the pizza warm. I drove an hour (102 miles roundtrip) to pickup the pizza and get it home for my family. Pizza was ready on arrival and warm when I got home. Absolutely loved this pizza growing up and it tasted just the same and my kids liked it better than Barro's. I hope we get one closer to us eventually. The new place was sparkling clean with a super friendly and efficient staff, cute decor with vintage art, great selection of ready-made salads and delicious pizzas. If you're going to try this place, you have to get the Taco pizza! Get all the cold toppings on the side to add on top, & make sure to add the sauce. NEVER thought I'd like the concept, but it was really like eating a taco in pizza form, and so DELICIOUS. We typically love pepperoni, and we got one of those as well, but tbh it was just ok in comparison. So if you're going to spend the money here, do yourself a favor and get the speciality taco pizza. Do NOT get a salad at this place. Went there today and they keep pre-made salads in a case at the front ordering counter. I picked one out and it was so disgusting. Nothing but wilted, brown lettuce. It was almost impossible to find a piece that wasn't brown. As I was looking at the container I noticed the date was written on it and it had been made four days ago. FOUR. First time ordering since they opened 6 days ago. Original Combo pizza was perfect! Ordered online and came to the restaurant to wait and see if we could possibly get one of the 4 tables to eat it there. One luckily came available about 10 minutes before our pizza came out. We were quoted a wait of 1 hour on the pizza and it came out about 5 minutes early. VERY friendly staff willing to help any way they can. Place was swamped with orders and people waiting for their food. Please be patient with them as they get things ironed out. Can't complain out it being packed...no place to wait because they are crazy busy. That's a good thing! They were very willing to work with customers if there was an issue with their order as were heard a few discussions while eating there. Only 2 liters and bottles of water to drink as of now, but everyone should know that going in as the menu spells that out. We were some of the MANY people anxiously awaiting the opening, and are VERY pleased with the results. Can't wait to go back and get a dessert with our pizza. Only advice to offer is for them to wipe down the tables when they pick up dirty dishes from previous customers, but that's one of the things that will be ironed out as the go. It all went quite smoothly for such a new business, which I've been anxiously waiting on for well over a year to open. The owner and his family were there to welcome everyone, and the staff was very friendly. If you're used to Godfather's Pizza, this is exactly what you know and love. Be sure to talk with the people in line about their favorite Godfather's Pizza memory. If you're new to Godfather's be sure to give them a try, and you can't go wrong with the Taco Pie on Original crust. Go with a bit of patience, though, as they are all new, learning, and trying very hard to make your experience a great one. Don't be the old guy complaining because his pizza took 5 minutes longer than he was told it would be.
