Chris Mitchell made the experience! The food was good, but the service was phenomenal!

On Thursday, March 30th, wife and I saw the Wingers restaurant in Mountain Home and decided to go in for an early dinner. This was going to be our first visit to a Wingers. As we drove up and parked, we noticed the exterior of the building was very well maintained, with a pleasing appearance. We entered, and we were greeted by a hostess who was very polite and professional, and she escorted us to a booth. The hostess explained that they were a little short staffed, but Sonia would be with us fairly soon to start our orders. Within a minute, not much of a wait, Sonia approached us, introduced herself and provided us with some popcorn to get us started. Sonia is very professional in appearance and demeanor, and was apologetic for any delay, which in our opinion, was no delay. Sonia took our drink orders and brought them to us in very short order. We told Sonia that this was our first experience eating at Wingers, and that we had a couple of questions regarding the selections on the menu. Sonia went through the menu with us, explaining options, helping us to place our order. She was very thorough and pleasantly informative. We knew that we liked Sonia by the confidence in how she talked to us. She clearing knew the menu and helped us make our selections. She made us feel very comfortable! Our food was brought to us and it was well presented. The fragrances of the different spices used in the runs and sauces filled the air around our table. We had also ordered side salads, and they were large enough that they could have been a meal by themselves. The salads had a great appearance and was very fresh. We had a variety of chicken wings, with different sauces and rubs. We could not decide on a favorite because they were all outstanding! Most importantly was the fact that we left full, but wanting more. One of the elements that can impact a dining experience is the waitress or waiter that serves you. I think our dinner was made outstanding was because of Sonia!! We felt welcomed and comfortable having her as our waitress. She made our dinner memorable. And, the food was also outstanding. Mountain Home is over an hour away from our home, but we would make that drive to dine at Wingers, and see Sonia. We in fact have a Wingers about fifteen minutes from where we live, so we have decided to go to our local Wingers at least once a week so that we can try the many items on their menu. read more

I generally really like Wingers, which is rare for me and chain restaurants. Unfortunately, the location did not represent well for the org. It's not in a busy area and it was pretty empty when I at there around 2PM on a weekday. The food was decent, although I'd steer you away from their standard buffalo wings pretty hard. Just a tip to Wingers and any other restaurant: you're not just supposed to use straight Frank's Red Hot sauce or Durkee on your buffalo wings. You're supposed to add butter and garlic and maybe some Worcestershire Sauce and Basil. The straight sauce is way to vinegary. I ordered their bottomless chicken fingers lunch special and a diet coke. I was traveling so I was kind of in a hurry but the service was so slow that I was going 10 minutes between visits from my waiter. He was a friendly enough guy but if you order something that comes with refills, this is unacceptable. Maybe this is a policy thing for them to keep people from momentum-eating a lot of their stuff, but it's crap either way. I finally flagged him down after a long stretch during which he'd apparently completely forgotten about my last refill order and told him to pack it to go. He told me that he couldn't per policy. He reevaluated after I pointed out his poor service and asked to talk to a manager. In the end, I got that but it was a bad experience and I think I'll avoid this location on future road trips. read more

First timer here. It's actually way better than what I've tried so far here in Mountain Home. The only thing was that some of my fries were cold and some warm. This review is for breakfast only. We were given a coupon by the hotel, for a free breakfast/drink per person at Winger's. Honestly, I was really impressed! Since we were on a long road trip and drove tons the day before, I woke up starving and craving pancakes. bacon and eggs. Well, that's exactly what they had on the menu and it was all really, really good! They even added fresh fruit. The wait was long, but only because a large group of Canadian tourists arrived right before we did and placed like 12 orders of food. Just bad timing! The waitress apologized and was really polite. If you're passing through, I highly recommend stopping here for a big (but not overly large) breakfast! It was perfect for the long day of driving ahead. read more

I have been to many wingers but the one in Moutain Home,ID is probably the best customer service that I have ever had at a Wingers. Amy full of energy, bubbly personality and the greatest customer service. Amy is the type of person that you want for the face of your business, I was just passing through never have stopped at this wingers but I am glad I did. Walked in hostess young guy was behind the stand in a booth eating popcorn and completely ignored me and my party, made eye contact and walked on bye, seen him later sitting on a booth holding hands with his GF instead of working or helping customers, waiter changed to waitress with no explanation after placing drink order ? Chicken was very dry, was given incorrect food and the server refused to bring the correct item, didn't bring water to refill our glasses until we were about the leave. We had already sat for 15 minutes with empty glasses and no server even paying us any attention. Very poor experience. Won't be back. read more

Travelled to Mountain Home, ID to visit some dear friends. They wanted to treat us to breakfast and we decided Wingers was the place to go. We arrived at 1030 about 30 minutes before lunch. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. Everyone ordered their breakfast and I asked if I could order off the lunch menu. The waitress was very accommodating. I ordered the Fowl Cow burger and it was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The food was reasonably priced. I will definitely come back to this restaurant again. read more

We entered the restaurant and were told 5-10 min wait. Almost 30 min. Later we were seated. While waiting we counted about nine empty tables over half were clean. I ordered a margarita on the menu. I was asked what is that? I pointed to it on the menu and was told sorry new menu. I then watched the wait read attempt to make the drink she had never heard of before. I was Disappointed when it arrived. We ordered and waited almost an hour for our food to arrive. I ordered salmon tacos. They were cold. My husband ordered sticky tenders and garlic fries. They brought regular fries. They were like warm. We asked for garlic fries and they arrived like warm and soaked in grease. Super soggy. Not edible. While the staff was short, I can understand wait times. But poor quality of bringing Luke warm food to the table after that long of a wait. We also had to ask for water. We ordered to go last night and all but one item was incorrect. Ordered a cowboy burger with onion straws which were an upcharge and got a plain bacon cheeseburger with French fries. Ordered a side of rice, not in the bag, ordered the cake pops with bourbon sauce and got cake pops with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The only item correct was the plain wings! Have to say this was a total miss in my opinion. Will not be going back. read more

We travel from Twin Falls to Boise A LOT and we finally decided to stop at Wingers for dinner. We had a really great experience here on 2.13.15. We were seated quickly and our waitress Amber took really great care of us. It was quite busy, but we never once had a slow or "need a refill" moment. Thanks Amber for being so attentive and kind. The food really yummy! I had the blazing hot tacos & my husband had the chicken Alfredo. Shout out to Kenny the manager. He made us laugh & laugh. We have been trying to stay away from chain type restaurants but we were tired of driving around trying to find a place. My husband and I have never eaten at Wingers before and thought we would give it a try. We are so glad we did! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was yummy and served hot & fresh. The original zinger sauce is delicious, and the portion sizes were just perfect. They even have a membership program like most chain restaurants now. So join and start earning points for Free Food. The pancake deluxe breakfast and trash hash are worth the wait. The pancakes have a light and unique flavor, one I found to be very good. It's not your typically floury pancake, and the lightness is nice. Eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection. The trash hash had generous pieces of bell pepper, and the white gravy was excellent, thick, flavorful, with a hint of pepper. The sausage chunks in the hash were large, too. I had an over-easy egg on top, and everything melded together for a great breakfast with that oozy yolk running through the hash. Service was okay. The hostess seemed quite unhappy to see and seat us. Just not her day, I suppose. Our server, by contrast, was attentive and friendly. Food took a little longer than I would have liked. Pancakes typically crank out quickly, but ours apparently needed some extra special love. Luckily, there are several TVs (no sound), and I learned from a petroleum company while watching Fox News that coal is a really super clean energy source. read more

We liked this restaurant I would say it's right up there being one of our two favorite restaurants in town. They use safe practices the waitresses and other help wear mask, food was very good I got the salmon and it was cook perfect. It's a little higher priced but so far one of the best restaurant in Mountain Home. So Worth the price. read more

We really had a great Experiance at this restaurant. Just being off the highway, we were expecting something more divey. We were pleasantly surprised at the clean and safe feeling establishment. Everything was in great condition, and the staff was extremely friendly. We got seated immediately, and our waitress was with us within moments. We had a larger group, but she was more than willing to assist us. All of our food came out just as we ordered it and tasted fantastic. Nyeli was are server and she was awesome. The food was amazing and such a clean place considering everything going on. My husband got a burger and I got the bacon mac and cheese. My husband gobbled up all of his food and the mac and cheese was to die for! Will definitely be coming back! read more

I asked for one of the partitioned booths but was led to an open table instead.
