One of the most disappointing Wing Houses in FL. Local reputation of "Bitchy bartenders. If you're sitting at the bar and your bartender is "Passion" , do yourself a favor and leave. The rudest bartender I have ever met....no eye contact, constantly needs to be flagged down if you want anything, does not approach you and see if everything is ok, seems aggravated if you ask for anything. A fun place to grab a quick lunch. Of course they have great wings with a variety of sauces. But my personal favorite is the Mushroom Cheddar burger and steak fries. One of the best I have had. However I got a look at the cook: he had long dreadlocks with NO hair cover at all. His pants hung down below his underwear so much he had to use one hand to hold up his pants and the other to cook. We always hit Winghouse when in Daytona, it was busy because of the car show in town, our party of 3 we were seated right away and Juliana got our drinks (teas) and that's when the service stopped, When the folks were seated behind us and got served. We asked if we could order and immediately copped an attitude. An hour later and 3 tables after us received their food and still nothing. Finally the manager delivered the food and got us drinks. This place is I need of serious renovation . cold days it's 60 degrees inside. hot days it's 84 inside. can't keep staff as there doesn't seem to be any leadership. They had only 7-8 bottles of liquor (some half empty "we ran out Jack Daniels"), no naked wings ("we are out of naked wings"), I think the salad came out of a prepackaged bag bought from the grocery store, the men's room was disgusting (the floors hadn't been cleaned in a long while and there was no soap to wash your hands on top of that). We came here while racing several times two years ago and really liked it. That's why we came twice. Not sure what has happened since then, but we will avoid. read more

I met the manager out on the patio as I was walking my dog around the hotel next door. He let me know they are dog friendly and have good happy hour specials, so I stopped in the next day. I enjoyed my nachos and whiskey. Nice patio, and friendly staff. read more

Not a bad happy hour spot. I would have preferred to have more variety on the food options for happy hour but overall it's pretty good. They offer specials on well drinks, beer and sangria. Every Thursday is all day happy hour specials with prices you cant beat from $2-$3.50. Appetizers are $5. I will come back and review their wings. read more

I came late on a weekday night, in search of some good pub food. I ordered the fish sandwich with curly fries to go. We were staying at the La Quinta just a few steps away from the winghouse. By the time I got back to my room I was famished. I opened up the box and lo and behold my fish sandwich consisted of two very small pieces of fish. The curly fries were just ok. Everything was on the cool side, probably from sitting waiting for the bartender to pick up. This time around three stars is a gift. read more

My date and I sat outside (for the first 10 minutes) then went inside thinking that we would get quicker service... The joke was on us. It took our waitress 20 minutes to acknowledge us and it took another 25 for our 20 wings to come out. But, this place was packed, 90% men and I don't think they mind the wait... They're there for the scantly dressed waitresses and the pictures they get to take with them. I don't mind any of that, I just wanted some good wings and I didn't find that here. We ordered a combination of flavors and they all lacked flavor. I could've went in the kitchen and made them better. I think the real reason why I gave this place 1 star is because there were so many orders in the window and not enough orders on the tables! Have not visited a WingHouse in many years. Sorry to say, like the other 'wing' vendors, things have gone down hill. Wing prices are very higher, 10 pieces (flapper or drumette) for $16! No sides, no drinks, no celery/carrot sticks. Yes they are available but for a fee. WingHouse is famous for 'naked' wings. Most of the pieces I ate were as chewy as jerky. Spiced 'hot' was more of a sweet-hot vs buffalo. Service was good, which was the best part of the visit. read more

WingHouse Bar & Grill is a large chain of approximately 15 restaurants specializing in what I might term "bar foods" as being your basic burgers, tacos, ribs and of course, their specialty, wings. Though with a rustic laid back décor, the ambiance retains a certain chainy feeling. On the wing side of things they offer about 12 types. Sort of everything from Teriyaki and Blackened to one entitled the Exxxtreme in case you want to know what fire tastes like. What are Buffalo Style wings aren't noted as "Buffalo" in the wing list but in a separate section. Then, oddly enough states "non-breaded." Like whoever heard of breaded wings as Buffalo style? It then further states "tossed in your favorite sauce or rub." Like wait a minute here. I'm from the Buffalo area and, not to sound like a snip, know that the true Buffalo wings as originated by Teressa Bellissimo at the Anchor Bar are fried then tossed in a combination of margarine and Frank's hot sauce. So yes, even though that original recipe has been somewhat embellished, it gives me a credibility problem with WingHouse. I tasted one that my partner had ordered and though supposedly Buffalo, trust me on this. It just didn't measure up. For my meal, I had their "Pig Wings" which were four baby backs along with their curly fries and Dallas Sauce. Don't go if you have less than six people in your party they won't serve you. I was put on a waiting list Saturday because it was busy during Bike Week which is understandable. However the server Abby and host Mackenzey had other ideas. After waiting and standing for over twenty five minutes a couple of the cooler guys showed up flirted with Abby saying two feet away from me I'll take them. I ask why would she take them as I'm waiting for her (Abby) on the top of the waiting list told three times she is my server. Simple answer they just want drinks. Talked to a female manager who says the same thing that they are getting drinks. I told her I was never offered a table to get a drink. She answers with were you on the list which off corse I say yes and reminded her that they also came in way after me. If I could rate zero stars I would. Wings were freezing cold. Wings had feathers still on them. Fries didn't come out and had to remind them to bring them out. Waitress never came by. Waited about an hour to get a check. Asked a different waitress for the check and she rolled her eyes and never came back. I had to get up and find my waitress for her to finally bring a check. At last night...5/21. Love a good dive wing bar!!!!Food was good...what we ate of it. There were 6 20-30 year olds alteady very intoxicated who bought pitchers of beer from which they were drinking directly out of. Did a few shots , too to where they were way over served and loud. They then started throwing phones and food across the bar to each other. The food arrived hot with extra wings for our poor environmental experience. When they started talking about cutting foreskin and throwing it, I was so grossed out, I couldn't eat my food and we had to leave. The bartender was sweet, but didn't take control and no manager ever came out to control the situation or apologize. This clearly fell on the manager hiding in the back who lost our business and didn't seem to care. For a place that supposedly specializes in wings these were the worst wings we've ever tasted in our lives. No joke. Slimy inside, barely sauced. Plus they claim buffalo style wings, but there's no actual "buffalo" wings (meaning the sauce). The garlic Parmesan wings were literally disgusting. The "hot" wings we ordered were mild heat at best. The Thai chili sauce was tasty though. The tater tots were tasty but obviously just frozen from a bag. The Budweiser burger was decent, but not worth the visit on its own. The place was filthy, and the side salad we ordered came well after we finished our meal of burger and wings for some reason. We think they forgot it. It was tremendously disappointing and we would not be motivated to come back. I am positive you can get better wings at virtually any other place nearby. Despite any errors at the restaurant, the servers were friendly and relatively attentive. Hence the two stars. read more
