Glad we don't always make decisions based on others experiences or complaints. We happened to be in Brighton for an appointment so naturally we had to have lunch while we were there. Hubby was craving wings there's not a lot of choices in the area and wingman's ratings weren't so great but into the unknown we go. GLAD WE WENT! It was the lunch rush and they had a steady flow of customers the service was professional and fast. I ordered carry out from the Grand opening for Wing Shack. The store layout is the same as the previous store. The staff was friendly. The Quality of the food was not good. I ordered 20 traditional bone in wings and fries.We tried two different sauces they recommended. Golden Hot and Buff / Q. one barely had any sauce on them and the other was just ok. Nothing special. The actual wings were overcooked and kinda gross. They also charge a 3% employee benefits fee, not sure what that is for? We were both disappointed, and will not be back anytime soon. read more

Do not give this business your time or money! I placed an online order to be delivered at 5:00pm. I had to call three times to find my order, it didn't arrive until 6:22pm. The food was cold cold, not even warm, like cold cold. Half of the order was missing and my family went hungry. I then spoke to Stella again for the 4th, time. She said she's the owner, and that she was so sorry and was going to call me back first thing in the morning and refund the money back to my card and "make it right". Next day comes, no call from Stella. Called the restaurant and was met by a very hostile man named Martin that also claimed to be the owner. He told me he would not refund my money and there was nothing he was going to do about it but say sorry. Then when I told him I was going to review him he cussed at me and hung up the phone. We were starving when we visited wingman. I love buffalo wings. I really do. Next to bacon they might be my second favorite food item. These wings were just ok. We ordered medium and thought they could have used a little more heat. I would order hot next time. The wings themselves were average. I guess the main problem would be that they were not fresh. We placed our order and they were ready to go in under three minutes. I watched the cook re-fry the wings, sauce them and place them in a to go container. Service was a little weird. Perhaps its a Colorado thing? But when I asked if they had any dipping sauce she was completely confused. She asked what I meant and I said sauce to dip the wings in. She then said "like dressing,? we have dressing". I asked for blue cheese dressing and she said she would put it in the bag because it came with the wings...when we got home there was ranch in the bag. Fail all around. read more

I have went to this restaurant for takeout three times and was disappointed all three times. They don't offer delivery out where I live so I had to drive in and pick up all three orders. The first time they forgot the fries that I ordered and I called and he asked me if I wanted to come back and get the fries. Are you kidding me? The second time there wasn't any real issue it just look like I got the tiniest wings on the planet. This third visit and the one that I decided I would no longer do business with this restaurant was the fact that they did not label the containers and I had ordered five different kinds of wings and upon getting home they had not given me all of the wings that I purchased and I called to complain as I did the first time they screwed up the order and Martin asked me "what I wanted this time to make it right?" I just told him to credit me the wings that were not in my order when I picked it up because I no longer care to do business with a restaurant that treated customers that way- I will not give them another dime in fact my neighbor was going to buy wings from them as well and I promptly went across the street and told him not to order from them- Not really sure if Martin understands that people do talk when they get treated poorly at a restaurant. Some of the best wings I've ever had - and I just discovered this place last week. The wings have plenty of meat and the "hot" sauce has the perfect combination of heat and flavor. I walked in and was greeted almost immediately by a friendly young lady. I ordered the lunch special, medium, with an order of mac n cheese wedges. The dining room was clean, but honestly for $16.00 was pretty skeptical about it living up to expectations because the price was so steep. Soda was perfect, which for some reason is getting harder to find. As I sat there mulling over why I just spent $16.00 on lunch when I could have gotten $6.00 subway, I began to believe I just got ripped off and buyers remorse began to set in. I ordered my meal to go, and it was brought up me as I sat in the dining room, he was very polite and thanked me as I walked out which was appreciated and seemed genuinely friendly. I sat down and began to unpack my meal, it was immediately apparent there was much more food than I expected to see. The wings were perfectly sauced and appropriately crispy and hot. The fries were cooked well, and the wedges a nice golden brown. The wings were very good, I like mine crispy and moist, these were both! The flavor was tasty and I thought a nice medium heat just a I ordered. These were big meaty wings compared to a lot of places. The pre packaged ranch was sufficient and flavorful, but I would have preferred blue cheese which wasn't offered. The fries had a bit of a odd taste, not bad, just odd, I can only assume it's from the oil and cross flavors. The mac and cheese wedges could be better, I'm assuming they are pre packaged, they use regular old box mac n powdered cheese. I think they could find much better than these, but they were ok. Overall since I went to a wing place that's what I was looking for and they gave me very tasty wings, I think next time I will just get wings.....and a pop. We have been calling our orders in because of COVID. Service and food good. Food always hot and ready when we pick up

Past two times we've tried ordering/eating here we have been majorly disappointed both times. Most recent - Ordered (30) wings and only received (10). After calling in the owner simply said we should have checked earlier and would not offer anything. This after years of being return customer and he didn't care. Earlier - called to place an order and the young guy said "they just got a large order and could not make any wings." Isn't this what you do for work? The place definitely fits the bill for a hole-in-the-wall wings joint. I came in for their XXX-Hot wings, but was surprised to see they had a number of other things on the menu (like hamburgers) and that they had a decent number of non-spicy wings flavors. The XXX was a little bit hotter than Franks, but not by much. My 10 wings also came with *a lot* of sauce on them, which always makes me happy. This place was once Woody's Wings. The place was always hoping and good. The good reviews for this location are from the past. The place is different today (March 2022). I went on March 22, 2022, looking for the 7wing lunch special and was told that it was discontinued and what was available was the 10wing combo because it was too expensive to serve the lunch special anymore. Why is it advertised on the web page??? The place was clean but completely empty. A sign at the door states that there are no public restrooms which turned out to include customers which I suspect is illegal in a place that serves food. I've had wings there this year. The wings turned dark indicating that either the oil isn't changed enough, or the wings have been sitting and reheated. One napkin and no celery provided. The Wing Cave in Thornton has celery included in the lunch special along with all the napkins you need. I will not be going to this wing place again. read more

My husband went in this evening to get food for our family (6people) with a coupon from.the Entertainment Book stating if you order 40 wings. You get 10 wings free. The manager flat out told him no. And informed him.that the coupon was "unauthorized" because she didn't get a call asking to have that coupon in the book. My husband asked I'd there was someone else he could speak to. She said no. That she was the manager and her word was final. The coupon had their address and phone number on it. And I am.pretty sure that something as big as the Entertainment Book aren't in the habit of putting random coupons in without authorization. We got the weekend special of 40 wings and a large fry for our first time here. We had the choice of traditional or boneless and did half and half. We could choose 4 sauces however their sauce choices were extremely limited and nothing special. We took our order to go and got it home and were not impressed. The wings were small and a large fry was extremely small, the wings were not nicely coated in the sauce they were basically swimming in a pool of it in the Styrofoam to go containers. The food doesn't come out in like 3 minutes so sometimes I believe calling ahead is best suited! They also have great specials, which give u more wing for your buck LoL. worst wings i have ever had and I have eaten in many wing shack in the Denver metro area. we had a few friends over on Friday Jan 13 2012 and decided to get 100 wings from this place. The wings were way over cooked, dried out, most of the wings had very little meat on them some had no meat at all. I do not know who their supplier is for wings but they are ripping off the restaurant and the restaurant is ripping off its customers for actually serving them. We were very disappointed to spend that much money on wings and get crap back in return. Also the sauces are a joke. we got XXX hot which is not hot at all, the Teriyaki which had a weird off flavor, and the BBQ and honestly the Kraft BBQ that sells for 99 cents at king soopers would have been a better choice. its astonishing how somebody can screw up wings but this place is a pro at it. What happened to this place? A year ago it was great. This visit was so dissapointing. The wings were small and shriveled. Maybe they had been cooked hours before? The pickles (in fried pickles) were paper thin and shriveled up as well. We won't be coming back. read more
