My husband and I come here at least once a month because we love wingnuts chicken wings. This time we order our usual 10 medium 10 plain extra extra crispy with an order of the Parmesan onion straws. Usually we do not finish the onion straws but this time they were by far the best parmesan onion straws we have had. So much so that we finished the onions straws and actually had wings left.(this never happens) I was listening to others who were there who also stated their food was just a good as ours. Not sure where everyone else who reviewed this place ate, but it couldn't have been Wingnuts. I was not impressed. The chicken wings were tasteless, except for the poorly executed "sauces." (huge chunks of raw garlic on chicken wings is not an acceptable wing sauce in my opinion). Despite being fried, they were also soggy. How does that happen? The burger we tried was practically burnt, super dry and also tasteless. They didn't even get the toppings right. Wingnuts is not all the rave. I'd rather drive 20 minutes down to Hog Body's on Bayshore. Their wings are consistently good. I've tried quite a few of their 50+ sauces and haven't had a bad one yet. read more

I've been going to this place for some time now with my co-workers for lunch. Had some hiccups here and there but nothing like today. When we arrived it wasn't crowded. We asked the waitress will it take long she said NO. Well after sitting there for over 40 minutes we asked how much longer she said a few minutes. It takes 25 minutes to cook chicken. So I nicely asked her can they put it in a box to go? She came back at 1250 with our checks but no food. When the food came out my salad was all messed up the wing box had a whole in it and the sauce was dripping out everywhere. When I told her that my order was wrong she bought back another salad that I didnt order either it had bacon and cheese on it (which I don't eat) the wings were soggy and undercooked. So I told her that I'm not happy and I didnt want the food. The owner came out and said next call and order because I cant stop cooking just for you. I never asked this man to do such thing. It takes time to cook the food I said I understand that but the service and treatment we got was ridiculous. He blamed everything on the waitress and since we came in with our scrubs he said he was going to call our manager because he knows him. O_0 I didnt understand that statement because we were very nice. So being that we use to go there 2-3 times a week because of the distance we will just travel for better quality and better service. Perhaps the worst ever dining experience of a lifetime and I am 74 years old. Each and everything delivered had a charge -even the condiments. It's a wonder that even the paper plates were not charged. As for the wings I could throw raw chicken into boiling oil and then pull out and serve - oogh - and the fries arrived a good 5 minutes before the wings.
