This place made me a bit nostalgic because growing up my dad would always make fried rice and wings for dinner. They have a small chinese food menu so the basics like egg rolls, wontons, orange chicken, sesame chicken, beef broccoli, lo mein, etc on top of all the fried seafood and chicken wings one could ever ask for. I ordered 10 wings which came with a side of fries separately from that, I also ordered a side of egg fried rice. I think bean sprouts/onions is optional but does have an additional fee. The menu can be found on their facebook page since they don't have a website. Ordering is simple -- call the number and place your order + give them a time that you will pick it up. Place isn't presentable, I guess you get what you paid for. It's too many flies, they are lacking cleanliness, grease build up everywhere. Good wings. Great NY style fried rice. Divey little spot, but that, as I say, adds flavor! I usually order wings and shrimp fried rice. This time I opted for the Kung pow wings xtra crispy of course. Man! Mmmmm yummy crispy sweet little things these were. But for me the fried rice was almost perfect. Almost because I wish I ordered onions ($1.00 extra) and bean sprouts (.50 extra) and an extra egg. How much that is not sure, but I will find out on the next visit. I just checked out this place run by a Asian couple, & I had the 8 pc wings w/shrimp fried rice. The wings were cut in half & the fried rice I had to pay extra for onions, sprouts & spicy flavor! It was fairly good when you are on the run. If they added more veggies in the fried rice, that would be an improvement. I haven't tried anything else, but they were very busy. read more

Nice little spot for good wings and fish. It's been around for a long time, originally on Chicago and Lake, now on 34th and Nicollet, and very well known for their wings. I had eaten there before for a while, then I stopped eating there once my diet had changed. The last time was over a decade ago. Yesterday, my husband and I decided to check it out and stopped in. The place is small within, but not too small--enough for a few people to come into the place and wait. The A/C was blasting, so it was nice and cool (it was quite warm yesterday, so was grateful for that!). There are two chairs inside as well as a bit of a window seat where one can sit and wait for their order. The woman who served us was very nice and polite. That always helps. :) There's a pretty good range of food from which to choose--Chinese food, seafood, chicken, etc.--and fairly affordable. I had the red snapper and fries yesterday, and my husband had catfish and fries. I loved the red snapper and would like to try their walleye on the next visit. We will be back! read more

After breaking through an initial language barrier with the cashier/cook, one is presented with top of the line fried deliciousness. Ordered the #6 (chik'n tenders and shrimp with fries), some jalapeño poppers and fried scallops. Combo receives 4.9 of 5 stars for freshness, seasoning, presentation and taste. The poppers grade out at 4.7 assessed with the same categories in mind. Moral of the story, don't judge a book by the cover and try a place where they serve chicken that is more juicy that Carrie Underwood's thighs. read more

I paid an extra $2 to make it pork fried rice. I GOT TOOK! The pork in the fried rice was of good quality, and tasted good. There was the right amount of egg. The rest of the fried rice was hopeless. No flavor. No onion, no spice, nothing but bland. Ahh but the wings. They don't explain your order of 8 wings is 4 wings cut in two. The drummie 1/2 and the wingette 1/2. The wings were cooked fresh. I did not know it was new owners, but I order the Cod and shrimp with fries which came to over $10.00 but I thought it was fresh seafood!!!!! When I got home and open up the container, I was too done to see pre-breaded shrimp and Van de Camp cod/shrimp deep fried with shoggy fries! If I wanted frozen seafood, I would of went to Cub and brought some. I called and ask the lady and she explain they order pre-breaded seafood since they do not have much room. Best fried food dive in the city. There's a lot of these "wings and seafood" places, but this one is my favorite. No room to dine-in, this really is only a "to go" place. I like to call ahead of time and it's always ready for pickup within 10-15 minutes. Not sure what they do to their fries, but they're delicious. The fish fillets are always kinda disappointing, but the shrimp and wings are spot on. Order a shrimp/wings combo, there's plenty of options to do that.
