This is a hole in the wall. Combo deals are great for their value and price. Front lady was very nice and helpful. They ran out of boba for our orders of bubble tea, so to make up for it - she gave us Large drinks and offered for alternatives if we were not satisfied. Best boba place in Wilton Manors, and I am proud to call this my new go-to spot for boba and snacks. All the love and support is what this mom and pop shop deserves.

It's Friday and while i didn't feel like sitting down in a restaurant I didn't want to eat a sandwich either so Chopstix being right around the corner was a solid choice! . Got two lunch combos (because who wants just one?) , boneless ribs for the sweet and smoky and General Tsos chicken for sweet and spicy. . The ribs were thin with the perfect char to meat ratio. Pop a couple into your mouth and continue salivating after each bite looking forward to the next! . General Tsos chicken executed perfectly as well. Crispy thin breading on the outside with tender moist chicken on the outside. Each piece coated in their sweet and spicy sauce. . . Rice and egg rolls as expected. Rice had good flavor and small pieces of tender pork with veggies. Egg rolls were fresh! Crispy wrapper filled with piping hot veggies. All in all a great lunch for under $20! .

First time trying this place. I'm always looking for an inexpensive Chinese food spot. I was unfortunately underwhelmed. Everything was under seasoned. Once you add a bunch of soy sauce it got better. Won ton soup broth tasted like plastic. The Beef and Broccoli and General Tso's were ok but the fried rice was also bland. Price point is good and you do get a lot of food for your money. I'm going to try to add more seasoning to the leftovers but probably won't order from here again:(

I tried this place as a recommendation from a friend and is really good. The food is fresh it's hot and yummy. Service is good fast. I can't say enough about it.

The extra half star is because they were open on a Monday. After my Dr appt, I was craving junky Americanized Chinese "comfort" food. Unfortunately the three other places I tried to go to were all closed on Mondays. This was the first place I could find that wasn't only takeout and was open. They have 4 tables inside but it's mainly a takeout place. I ordered their lunch special of chicken with cashews (I had really wanted chicken almond ding or sub gum chicken chow mein -- Hey, I said I wanted American unauthentic) but no almonds. So I figured I'd still get nuts -- just cashews instead. It didn't take long for the food to be ready. Although the gal forgot I was eating in and wrapped it to go. Since I was the only one there... draw your own conclusions. While I was eating 2 guys came in -- to eat in. And a gal came in to order takeout. The lunch came with white or fried rice. I got the fried. The rice was yellow colored rice with peas, carrots, tiny bits of pork and onions. The chicken dish was also yellow (why?) and came with cashews, celery, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, onions, carrots, peas, baby corn, mushrooms, and flattened pieces of chicken. You also got your choice of canned sodas. The food was bland (but that is the dish) and was helped a bit by adding some duck sauce. Don't think this would be my place of choice on regular basis, but if nothing else is open and you're craving Chinese in the neighborhood... maybe. Otherwise keep driving.

Is it possible that a restaurant can have better sides than actual main dishes? Each time we order from them the entrees are just ok. This is a small take-out/dine-in restaurant that is not the most comfortable to dine in due to the lack of decor and usually small children are there of which are the employees. We have tried the dine in experience, take-out, and Delivery Dudes as they do not offer delivery. Our most recent visit was take-out. We were on our way home and decided to stop and order dinner. We made our order which included extra crispy General Tso Chicken. Paid and pick up in only 10 mins. After running next door to Publix we were back and they already had it all packed up in a brown bag. Everything was included in the bag that you would need to complete the meal (abundance of sauces, silverware packets/napkins, fortune cookies, and most importantly all of our food! We ordered Hot & Sour Soup and Egg Drop Soup; both have good flavor and are hearty soups! The order of Crab Rangoons come 5 in an order and are filled generously. They are the best we've come across so far in SoFL. As our entrees we split the Beef Lo Mein as well as the "extra" crispy General Tso Chicken. The Generals lacked the most, of course not being crispy and overall not much flavor. On the other hand the Beef Lo Mein had good flavor but was very greasy and even greasier the next day as leftovers. The portion sizes are very large and we always have leftovers. Prices are reasonable and they are quick to make your order. If they could improve their entrees with less oils & salts and more flavor/seasonings then this would be a great local spot.

As for the General Tao's chicken, nobody ever served General Tao any chicken like this, because if they did, the General would have put them in front of a firing squad and had them shot. It was overly salty and consisted mostly of skin and fats. Though eating here was my first big mistake, ordering a dish with General Tao's chicken was a second mistake. A third mistake was to have a sit down meal because Chopstix is clearly nothing but a Chinese takeout place though they have three tables each with a four chair seating capacity. When you get your food, it comes in a takeout containers and the flatware they give you is nothing but flimsy plastic. Trust me, trying to eat General Tao's chicken with a cheap plastic fork and knife is no easy task nor is attempting a bowl a Won Ton with a tiny little plastic spoon any easier. Also, if you order a drink, don't expect them to have opened the bottle or that you will get a glass to drink it from. And though rather well behaved, the proprietor's children use the customer dining area for their computer playroom. On the bright side, it will give you a chance to hear a lot of computer sounds that you've most likely never heard before. I spent my entire time a Chopstix wishing I had gone just down the 26th Street to Lotus Chinese Kitchen where I could have had much better food, service, eating utensils and atmosphere at what would have actually have worked out to have been at a lesser price. Needless to say, I won't be back and sorry to say that I think the advice of some of the other Yelpers with regards to this place is totally off the mark.

Two friends and I walked into Thirsty's on a Friday night and were the only people there. We ordered at the front and took seats at the counter, which had not been cleaned off since the last customers left as we were walking in. The same boy who took our order went immediately to the back to start cooking our food. During that time, several people walked into the restaurant and a couple of them walked out after waiting for several minutes without being served. Our food was finally brought out, but we had not gotten our drinks or silverware to eat our food with. We waited while he took another customer's order, and had to catch his attention as he went towards the back to make that order. This process rinsed and repeated, with the same boy taking someone's order, walking to the back to make that order, and not returning to the front until he had that order ready. This meant every time we needed any level of service, we had to wait for him to emerge and try catch his attention as he rushed to wait on other people. It wasn't a busy restaurant so I don't think they need a giant staff, but two people would have been immensely more efficient. I ordered a simple burger and fries. My fries were very good, with a delicious seasoning sprinkled on top. They were served without a sauce, and by the time I got his attention for ketchup they were basically gone, so I didn't even bother. My burger was ok. I try really hard to support local businesses, especially on Wilton Drive, and this tiny establishment is the perfect trap for someone like me! However, I don't know that I can wholeheartedly recommend Thirsty's if the owners are not willing to make an attempt to create a positive experience for their customers at the expense of one additional employee.

Upon scanning through the menu, my eyes zoned in on the thick Banana Pumpkin Seed Pound Cake and the right side of my mouth drooped slightly and began to salivate. Upon inquiring about the cake, the server, Dolly, alerted me to the dense texture and it's freshness. It seemed like a win win decision so I paid the $4.00 and Dolly lightly heated the cake per my request. The cake slice was presented on a wooden serving paddle which was a nice touch. Found a seat at one of the simplistic slightly chipped black wood square tables accented by a lacquered mohogany chair with an ultra comfortable red faux ostrich cushion. At first bite, the sweet banana was obvious and followed by a light pumpkin seed taste which was appreciated by my taste buds. In addition to the moisture of the thick cake, the scent was also welcoming. The handicap accessible gender neutral bathroom was clean with industrial terrazzo flooring which flowed into the rest of the café. The vintage photographs on the walls provided a comfort vibe. The café definitely does not hide the throwback ambiance by any means. The 60's jazzy music set a relaxed tone while devouring my morning treat.
