I was craving some Chinese food the other night and found this place here on Yelp, liked the reviews and decided to give it a shot. It's your typical Chinese take-out style restaurant with a couple seats on the inside if you really want to eat there. The girl that took the order was very friendly and accommodated my request to switch out the rice from the dinner combo with veggie lo-mein. As other reviewers have mentioned, the food is exactly what you expect from a good Chinese restaurant and maybe a little bit more. Whenever I get the itch for more Chinese, this will be on the top of my list. Only complaint and the thing keeping this from a 5 star is they forgot my vegetable spring rolls. Oh well! read more

I may be new to Chinese food at 51 not! but moo shu comes with a rice pancake. Was told I had no idea what I was talking about when i received a flour tortillas ( you get 24 of them for a 1.99 at Publix) I didn't realize I was ordering Mexican. I have ordered food from here a few times and have never truly been impressed. My last visit this past week will be THE last. I ordered fried rice, steamed dumplings and wings. The rice was bland and almost undercooked but the real disappointment was when my friend opened her steamed dumplings. The BEST Chinese food in Wilton Manors, maybe Fort Lauderdale. I'm a native New Yorker...so good Chinese is everywhere, unlike here in South Florida..only place better than NYC has to be L.A. Chopstix isn't quite as good as a Chinese joint with the bulletproof glass and a dollar menu..but still tasty as hell. I loved the General Tso's chicken. It was crispy, tangy and a little bit of heat.. The Lo Mein was also good..I will update this review as I try more Chinese restuarant staples. Really solid Chinese food. Definitely has less grease than the take-out places I have used in Boston, so that alone is an improvement. I tried the beef with broccoli, General Tao's chicken, and Szechuan shrimp, all which satisfied my craving for Chinese food. This place is perfect for late night take-out runs! read more

This was my favorite Chinese take out restaurant, and the only one I ever ordered from, until recently, when they must has started using MSG. I react very badly to MSG, and almost immediately after eating a recent meal from Chopstix, my face became flush, my blood pressure spiked and I felt like my head would explode. This is a plain and simple basically takeout Chinese restaurant. The prices and portions are quite adequate. They only have three tables inside for seating and trust me it's nothing fancy. Having said that. I usually get sweet and sour chicken. It certainly is enough for two I eat it with my friend there and it's more than filling. High end cuisine, absolutely not. But basic Chinese food, it is fine. If you are in the neighborhood stop in. Better value than nearby places at much higher prices. Easy parking. Easy ordering. Don't usually eat here because I generally don't care for it but we decided to try it again. Ordered combos, added soup and also an appetizer. General tso isn't bad though I always question when all pieces are perfectly shaped the same as that's just not what chicken looks like. Rice was over-filled with carrots peas and bean sprouts. Today is my second time trying this restaurant and this time I did it for lunch the other day was for dinner and I have to say this place has completely won me over. It's more of a takeout Order place but there are a few tables for you to eat but the prices are fair and I love their true hot mustard. Pot stickers steamed fell apart. Taste was blah. Fried pot stickers were chewy. Their idea of Mongolian was meat and onions - that's it, with a thin sauce that didn't add flavor. The sweet and sour chicken was a fried breast cut into slices - our daughter wasn't pleased. The only person happy had the General Tao. Decide to try this place was shopping in the area. Normally go to the ones on Federal. This place is horrendous!!! I ordered a Hot n Sour Soup and its hands down the worst one out of all the Asian places around and Ive tried all of them. I also ordered Pepper Steak and Onion. it was the smallest portion with only a few thin slices of steak. They also serve in the small round containers on purpose to cut food cost yet they charge what others are charging still barely even filling the container. This is my first time writing a review anywhere, but I'm compelled to write this because our experience was so awful attempting to eat the garbage this Chinese restaurant, located at Five Points in Wilton Manors sold us. We ordered their: - subgum wonton soup for two. It was basically tasteless. A totally uninspired concoction of overcooked, soggy vegetables and a couple of wonton in a brown broth with almost no flavor. - a dinner platter combination comprised of BBQ spare ribs and fried rice. There were just three ribs, the scrawniest, overcooked, dried-out ribs I've ever had -- seriously -- with almost no sauce on them at all. I was shocked at the condition of those pathetic ribs. They came with a bucket-load of yellow rice (fried rice is now yellow?) with some bits and pieces of vegetable mixed in. The rice looked inviting, but was tasteless and on the dry side. - a dinner platter combination comprised of pepper steak and that fried rice. The pieces of steak were very sad. Tiny and dried out even with the sauce and onions to cover them up. And once again, more tasteless food. This restaurant will never see another penny from us. It was the first and the last time we'll be their victims, aka customers. They must have the absolutely worst Chinese cook in all of Broward County. Never again! read more

Ah! Finally another Chinese takeout place in Wilton Manors other than Lotus Chinese Kitchen. This place, which recently opened up, is actually more of a fast food takeout place, without losing the quality of the food. There's only a couple of tables at the place, in case you're planning to eat there. They have all the usual items on the menu. I've tried a few things and they're all pretty tasty and not too greasy for Chinese food. You can see all of the kitchen while they prepare your food, and it's all nice and clean. I would always do here for the beef lo mein. Service was always great, the restaurant CLEAN which as i always write i VERY important for any restaurant business. However, one day i went a few months ago, and ordered the lo mein lunch special. I got a little soup with it which was great. They stuffed it so nice and full so you really get you're money worth. However......when i got home and took the lid off the styrofoam....there was a very long hair, obviously from a woman (who was doing front of the house as well as the cooking) laid atop my rice. Stopped here last week and wish I had not. Ordered sweet and sour chicken but asked, several times in advance, if the chicken was white meat. The woman who took my order insisted that it was. It was not. I found this out after taking it home. It was dark meat. To make matters worse, it was just not good. The dish came with no onions or peppers, as I usually find in sweet and sour chicken. Instead, it came heavily breaded, like a corn dog with a tiny piece of meat and a lot of fried dough. It was really awful. Too bad it's so close to my place. Tonight was the first time I tried this restaurant. I was impressed overall. The atmosphere in the restaurant itself was nothing special, but it was clean, well-lit, and inviting. The staff was friendly and prompt. The fare is typical for americanized Chinese food. We had the General Tso chicken, sesame chicken, and crab rangoon. It was served so hot, temperature-wise, that it was still hot to the touch--almost too hot--when we got it home. The chicken dishes were both tasty. The General Tso chicken was sweet with a spicy flavor that catches up with you. The sesame chicken had a mild, flavorful sauce, slightly sweet but meaty. The rice was the typical sticky white rice. There was enough food in each dish for lunch tomorrow. The crab rangoon was sweet and creamy, and they didn't skimp on the filling. While I liked the rangoon shell itself, my friend thought the shell was too crunchy and had an off flavor to him. All the dishes came with sauces, but they could have included more soy sauce.
