Wings Etc. has the best chicken wings around! While this location is smaller than most, I like the (small) outdoor seating area here. I love the lunch specials, daily drink specials, and a surprisingly expansive menu of food and appetizers that has something for everyone on it. Place is an awesome sports bar. We went and took the kids. Friendly staff you can sit in or outside. TVs everywhere. I got Wings and wow the best I have ever had. My husband and I are big wing fans so we decided to try this place out. We both ordered the rib combo and we were able to choose what sauce we wanted on our ribs. The wings are huge with so much meat on them. I was able to choose two different sauces for only 6 wings. They were all good but if you'd like a recommendation, choose the tweener, which is the sauce my husband chose for all his 6 wings. I wish I remember the name of the bartender, but lucky for her, I don't (short, blond girl). But, she may have been the rudest bartender/server I've come across in my life (I love bars, so that's a bold statement). The things she said to my fiancee were disrespectful, rude, and beyond unprofessional. I get that finding good help is difficult, but if that's your idea of an employee who's on par with meeting your standards and qualifications, then I'm sorry for the management and the job they're tasked with. I'm not advocating that I eat at wing joints frequently, but I haven't looked back since that day and I've taken 100% of my business to anywhere else. It's sad, because I think the place has great potential to be a nice sports bar. But, when you hire individuals that treat customers like crap - you leave people an easy decision to not return. read more

This place is a not as good version of buffalo wild wings. The decor is not quite as good. The chicken is the same. The sauces not quite as good. There are not qjite as many TV's. There are not quite as many beers on tap (although the bottled beer selection is decent). The waitress did not refill our drinks once. All in all it was an average and boring experience. read more

Wings are pretty good, but the service at the Valparaiso location is pretty disappointing. We've eaten inside a few times and the service was always neutral. I just got wings to go and got treated terribly. I called for 20 wings carry out and was told that it would be 20 minutes. I showed up shortly after and waited at the bar. They were awfully busy, but I got suspicious after I had waited about 25 minutes and the bartender still hadn't checked the kitchen. I spent another 20 minutes trying to get the bartender's attention before she finally looked at me and said "We're awfully busy. They're backed up. I can go check again if you want, but I just checked." I didn't say anything, but my eyes had been on her for nearly 20 minutes. Not only had she not left the bar, but this was the first time she talked to me since I sat down 45 minutes earlier. A couple minutes later she left the bar and came back with my order. Everything was ice cold. I honestly don't know how long my food had to be sitting in to go boxes to get so extremely cold. My entire family is so disappointed. read more

First of all, I love the music playing in here. Listening to rush while you eat is awesome! Our waitress was super nice and helpful. 10/10 she was awesome. The wings were delicious too. I didn't like the blazin Asian or the me so spicy sauce, but the sweet chili was delicious! The pretzel bites appetizer is good too. I just think the nacho cheese sauce needs more of a kick to it. It just tastes like regular cheddar cheese with a hint of something else. Other than that our meal was awesome! Totally gonna come back when we crave wings again! read more

Terrible service. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer. There were only 3 other people in the bar area. I sat there looking at the menu for ten minutes with no offer to order or explanation of specials. When my beer was empty, she never offered another drink. I love this place, a lot. The wings are excellent and the waiters and waitresses are mostly nice. The waiters are there right away to ask for your drink and come back with it very fast. The food is great and so are the sauces. I love how there is an arcade for the kids waiting for their food. Wings Etc. lost one star for cleanliness. The bathrooms are disgusting. I would honestly rather use port-a-potty at a Mexican place than sit on that toilet but it is a boys bathroom so I really can't say anything because boys are gross so you get eased off there. I also feel like the waiters and waitresses could wipe down the tables a little better but it's not too bad so no stars lost for that. Love this place so much!!! read more

I really like this place, it's a nice alternative to someone who loves BDubs, but goes there too often. :p The boneless wings are softer, and are covered in more sauce (which I prefer). The pickle spears are pretty good, too! Plus, there's a sign in the bathroom that reads, "I wish I could trade my heart for another liver, so I could drink more and care less." The wings aren't bad, but when I ordered the fries and mac n cheese it tasted so bland. It tasted like I was eating air. I couldn't bring myself to eat the fries without seasoning them myself. We have loved coming to the Valpo Wings etc for years. However, this last year, I have been disappointed multiple times with their take out. We always give restaurants multiple tries because everyone has a bad day. Every time we have had take out there has been something wrong with it. This last time, we had over half of our food missing. I called the restaurant to explain what happened, spoke to a manager and just asked if they could put the money back on our credit card. That manager, Dylan, ended up getting locked out of the system but told us another manager would help. We had to call the next day and we were told that they were unable to put the money on the card and would put the cash in an envelope with our name on it to get picked up. I went to pick up the envelope and what they gave us was "store credit". The amount of credit that they gave us was less than what was charged to our credit card. The disappointment of how this situation was handled by them makes me wonder how much they don't need anyone's business. We used to love going to this place but lately not so much. read more

Food is actually pretty decent. But the service is on another level of terrible. Servers look like they don't want to be there. They weren't attentive. I asked what time they closed they said 11pm. Reason why I asked there was nobody there. So since there wasn't anybody there we continue to order drinks. The waitress literally rang us out 3 times and the first time she brought the check we didn't ask for it. Then the second she picks up the check and says I guess I'll pick these up. Remember I asked when they closed I wanted to spend my hard earned money there but if they don't want the business I'll gladly go elsewhere. For $70 we had over cooked wings barely any sauce ( and I mean drizzled) fish and chips was 1 flat piece from grocery freezer (gormans fisherman) $11 was crazy. Curly fries were soggy. Shrimp special jumbo .45 each were over cooked and terrible again like out of grocery store freezer. It was one of the worst meals we have ever had and not worth the money. Tried this spot while back in town for the holidays. We really wanted wings, and I'd prefer to support a local chain rather than Buffalo Wild Wings. We ordered beers, boneless wings, and a salad. Maybe the meal would have been better if we hadn't ordered boneless wings. If so, I would give more stars. However, the boneless wings were too deep fried, they lost the flavor of both the chicken and the sauce. They tasted much more like chicken tenders and not wings. We got exactly what chicken tenders are. The service was good--but a little slow. We sat in the bar. Would return again next time I want wings, but I would order wings instead of the boneless wings. read more

Everything on the menu is pretty solid besides the burgers, I've tried them countless times and they are always dry looking like hockey pucks. I would suggest getting the homewrecker hotdog with chili and cheese and ask them to "rip it" so instead of grilling if up, they fry that puppy up! Pairs well with a nice schooner of Bud light.
