The food was absolutely incredible and the service was incredible, by far the best food in Reno

This is our first time here and it won't be the last. We drive up to hot August nights every year and I found this place in Yelp. We love Korean fried chicken wings and this place did not disappoint. We ordered the 18 piece chicken wings with sweet honey and honey butter. The wings were just fried and crispy and meaty. I think I devoured 5 of them and wasn't sure if I could fit dinner later. We also had a small order of sweet potato fries. We are Used to having daikon come with our order. Next time we will order it for $1.50. The small fries was only $4 and the Guinness was only $5. The wings I have to admit were Delicious and hit the spot. read more

Today we had a disappointing experience at a restaurant. Before we even sat down, I informed the staff that we had a service dog with us. The employee asked the owner if it was allowed, and his first response was, "We don't allow dogs inside." I explained that he is a service dog. The owner then asked for paperwork to prove it. I respectfully told him that businesses are not allowed to require documentation for a service dog. His response was, "How am I supposed to know it's a service dog?" At that point, I ended up showing my personal medical paperwork, something I should never have felt pressured to do. I also explained that as a business owner, he should know the laws regarding service animals. We decided to leave without eating because the entire experience made us feel unwelcome, embarrassed, and we completely lost our appetite. I hope this serves as a reminder that businesses should educate themselves about the rights of people with disabilities and the laws protecting service dog handlers. No one should have to disclose private medical information just to be treated with respect. read more

If you're looking for amazing Korean food in the Reno/Sparks area, I highly recommend Wings Korean Chicken! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and comforting. My absolute favorites are the tuna kimbap and the Korean corn dogs -- the tuna kimbap is so satisfying and packed with flavor, and the Korean corn dogs are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seriously addictive. I also love the soy wings they are so crispy and delicious! The atmosphere is casual and cool, and it's become one of my go-to spots when I'm craving Korean food. Everyone that I know has been telling me how good this place is so I had to try it. It's a small chicken shop with music and a small bar. Friendly customer service. Ordered 4 different flavors to try them out: original crispy, angel kick, sweet honey and honey butter (all small orders). I was not disappointed with the flavor nor the crispiness of the wings. They were delicious. My favorites were the original crispy and angel kick while my kids loved the honey butter a lot. Besides offering beer and soda, there is a free water dispenser on the right side and all utensil is up by the counter along with gloves. Didn't realize we had fried wings up in LT when it first opened a few years ago. That was my first introduction to Northern Nevada Korean chicken wings actually and I've been a fan since. Tried this spot tonight and overall it was a pretty good wing. The counter service was polite and accommodating and it's a cool little spot. I was expecting the chicken to be a bit more crunchy and the sauces to be a bit more different from one another but they were fairly angular. Good wing execution though. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to see that their menu offered authentic Korean dishes such as kimbap, which was very well wrapped and freshly prepared. My wife had heard about Wings Korean Chicken and really wanted to give it a try, so we decided to venture over on a Saturday night. We arrived around 8:00 PM, about an hour before closing. The space itself is pretty small, with only about five tables. When we got there, four were already occupied, so we decided to order our food to go. That said, the inside is nice and clean, and they play good music, which definitely makes the wait more enjoyable. When we walked in, the lady behind the counter immediately asked what we wanted to order. We were hoping to take a minute to look over the menu and ask about the different wing flavors, but she seemed to rush us a bit, which was a little surprising since everyone else inside had already ordered. Still, we went ahead and placed our order. I got a small order of wings in the galbi flavor, and my wife got the K sauce wings. We also wanted to try the corn dogs, so we ordered both a regular corn dog and a cheddar corn dog. Our food took about 20 minutes, which felt reasonable. The wings were a decent size. The galbi flavor was okay, but they were a bit light on the sauce. I definitely found myself wanting more. I tried one of my wife's K sauce wings and thought that flavor was better overall, with a nice bit of spice to it. The real highlight of the meal was the corn dogs. They were perfectly fried, and the breading was excellent, with a great balance of sweet and savory. The cheddar corn dog was good as well, basically a big chunk of cheddar cheese coated in that same delicious batter. I thoroughly enjoyed both and would absolutely come back just for those. At $4 each, considering how big and filling they are, they are a solid deal. Overall, this is a good spot. The wings are decent, but at $10.99 for just five wings, they feel a bit overpriced. It is also disappointing that if you want two flavors, you have to order the 18-wing option, which is around $30. Some of the flavors sound interesting, but the pricing makes this more of an occasional wing stop for me. K sauce was not much of anything and lacked flavor as absorbed by the chicken. We saw this spot after going to their neighbors Macho Tequilas and decided to circle back this weekend to give it a try. I ordered the super spicy wings, garlic parm fries and some strawberry soup. The wingers were sizeable, the cook was excellent and the sauce was great as well. I also tried the angel fire and the k sauce and all were solid, my recommendation would be the angel fire and super spicy. The garlic parm fries were crinkles fries and were cooked perfectly. They retained their heat through our whole meal and left overs were still warm in the box we took home They had mma on the TV, a relaxed and friendly vibe with Korean hip hop in the background. The not as good: The cheese corn dogs was a lot of batter, too much batter and my cheese was not melted or even warm when I bit in. The wings also had a lot of batter and everything seems greasy to us and hard to eat. If you're intoxicated or just need that fried food fix, this is the place. But if I just wanted wings I would maybe go elsewhere. Also the place has like 4 tables, it is much easier to get it to go. The wings were also good, the K-sauce has a little bit of spice but is barely noticeable if you have high tolerance and the sauce did leave me wishing for a little more flavor. The superstar of the show was easily the corn dog. They are decent size with thick batter that is pretty delicious. With all the shakers and some sauce they go from great to amazing. Unique little spot in sparks! The seating is limited, so I wouldn't recommend for large groups. It is a nice spot to grab a bite to eat with a few friends. Very clean and nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and efficient. I tried the pepper jack corn dog. It was good, but I did wish there was more cheese it especially with how thick the breading is. I also had the wings and they are great! I love how they're just the right amount of crispy and are a good portion! My first attempt to come here was on a Sunday at 8pm and unfortunately they were closed, although their hours say open until 9 on Sundays. Turned 42 and my wife had a wonderful idea to celebrate with some deliciously crispy fried chicken at one of the top rated spots with some great friends, and it was excellent! Admittedly, I was a little concerned, knowing that my group was around 20 to 30 people, but we took over the row of tables and booths along one wall pre-ordered some food for the crew and some drinks and we're ready to roll when everyone started showing up. We ordered a bunch of fried wings served naked with all the sauces on the side and for sauces I would say that's the way to go. If you're getting dry rubs like the honey butter it works just fine to have it done for you. My favorite sauce had to be the angel kick because I really packed a spicy punch along with delicious sweetness. The chicken was crispy on the outside and super juicy inside and something. I definitely am craving. I had to try a Korean corn dog, which I'll say something. I'll probably enjoy once and not again. It was super dense and delicious with a huge amount of mozzarella cheese in the center but there was no actual sausage or hotdog inside after looking at the menu again, I realized you have to choose whether you're gonna have sausage or cheese And the cheese was just too much for me. I did get it with the added potato and Ramin crust on the outside, which was a super fun texture and flavor but ultimately just not something I could finish. Heard good things about this new spot in town. Came here a while back to check it out with a group of friends. The place is small, so if you come during busy rush and you want to dine it, it maybe a bit hard. The service was good, the folks in the front were friendly.
