What a tasty place! We had heard about this place from many people and finally made it. You can smell that they are legit just from the smell when you walk in! (And the constant line out the door!) We got the family pack and man, it was amazing. The cornbread was sweet and perfectly moist and served with butter and honey. We got the chopped brisket, ribs, pulled pork, Mac n cheese and beans. What an absolute feast! The sauce was the perfect complement to the entrees without overpowering anything. We loved mixing and matching all the goodies for a new perfect bite every time. We ordered to go and got food quickly considering it was a packed Saturday. We ended up sampling everything before leaving the restaurant because a table opened up. Back again on Hot August Nights for some barbecue. This time the family pack is $65. They were also out of sliced beef brisket. I don't know why they chop it! Leave them in slices even for sandwiches!! I love Brothers but they need to smoke and/or barbecue their pork ribs longer so that they fall off the bone! It was tough to eat even using a knife. Fantastic. Best and most tender brisket I ever had. Mac & Cheese was flavorful. The cornbread was good, better than most, not as good as some. Food portions were very good size. We managed to catch a lull in their busy time, because right after we left we saw the groups coming in. We had help choosing what to order, because it all smelt and looked amazing. It is in a little Victorian home with indoor and patio dining. I loved the stone cactus on each table. I would like to actually make my own now! The employees were friendly and helpful. Corn bread was not good. Beans weren't good either. The beans were called BBQ beans but taste like chilly beans which they let me know. That did confused me though. You order and pay at the counter and they will bring your food to your table I ordered a plate with 3 ribs, hot sausage, mac n cheese, and a glass of sweet tea. The side portions are huge, enough for 2 persons. The spicy sausage was the equivalent of 2 link sausages. The ribs were cooked to perfection with the meat falling off the bone. The spicy sausage was as advertised: spicy hot and delicious. I have never been a big fan of mac n cheese, but this one won me over. I loved Brothers mac n cheese. My other side was their standard cole slaw and it was an excellent choice as it cooled the spicy hot and balanced the fat from the pork ribs. The flavors and textures complemented each other so well it was such a pleasureable dining experience. My glass of sweet ice tea was Just the way I remember it from a few decades ago - it was strong and not overly sweet. The only thing missing was the absence of dessert. My dining experience reminded me of a cookout at an expert grilling friend's home on a holiday.
