The only difficulty was the parking. Not many spots and I didn't see any handicapped parking. Delicious, authentic barbecue spot in Reno! I was looking for a lunch spot while in town, and some friends recommended Brothers. We tried the plate with brisket, sausage , cold slaw, and corn bread, as well as the mac n cheese bowl with brisket. Both were amazing!!! The house made bbq sauce on the tables paired perfectly. We had been meaning to come here for some time. Used my daughter's coming graduation as a reason for a meal out. We managed to catch a lull in their busy time, because right after we left we saw the groups coming in. We had help choosing what to order, because it all smelt and looked amazing. We each chose to order something slightly different from each other, but ate some off of each others plate. It all was super tasty. As a fam, we had a lot of the menu and we were all thoroughly impressed. I ordered this on DoorDash and it came super quick it was a little under $50 for 1/2 rack of lamb, coleslaw, beans, corn and Mac&cheese. Coleslaw: super tasty, you can't really mess this up. My boyfriend loved the potato salad, we also got Mac and cheese and beans. The beans taste like chili - not spicy but more of a savory flavor than sweet as they are Texas style beans (this was explained to us when we ordered). I enjoyed everything I ate. The service was fast and friendly - they checked on us multiple times while we were eating. We arrived about 30 minutes after opening on a weekday and it was getting busy but the food came very quickly. We moved to Reno from Texas in the fall last year and tried a couple of other BBQ joints (BJ's and Char-B-Que) and were so disappointed that we almost moved back to Texas. Today my husband and I went to Brother's Barbecue for the first time and it was excellent! First, the appearance of the restaurant is colorful and cute. It is in a little Victorian home with indoor and patio dining. I loved the stone cactus on each table. I would like to actually make my own now! The employees were friendly and helpful. You order and pay at the counter and they will bring your food to your table I ordered a plate with 3 ribs, hot sausage, mac n cheese, and a glass of sweet tea. The side portions are huge, enough for 2 persons. The spicy sausage was the equivalent of 2 link sausages. The ribs were cooked to perfection with the meat falling off the bone. The spicy sausage was as advertised: spicy hot and delicious. I have never been a big fan of mac n cheese, but this one won me over. I loved Brothers mac n cheese. My other side was their standard cole slaw and it was an excellent choice as it cooled the spicy hot and balanced the fat from the pork ribs. The flavors and textures complemented each other so well it was such a pleasureable dining experience. My glass of sweet ice tea was Just the way I remember it from a few decades ago - it was strong and not overly sweet. The only thing missing was the absence of dessert. My dining experience reminded me of a cookout at an expert grilling friend's home on a holiday. Went here for a quick treat. Parking is a bit tricky but we parked at the cluckers lot, and wasn't sure if we would be towed. Not sure if they are partners.
