I've been coming here for literally 20 plus years since I was a kid and know I bring my kids here's it WAS a tradition until my last visit me and my son were the only ones on our side of the restaurant I was showing my son something on my phone the Manager comes out of her way to tell me to turn it down because I could potentially disrupt other customers . Which is fine but then she proceeds to yell from the front counter to the bar telling them to hurry up over and over again yelling across the restaurant but I need to turn my phone down. On top of that the waitresses have no personality whatsoever . That I can deal with but I can't deal with a rude manager 2+ decades . Manager (Fat white "lady" with glasses. Been going to this wing place since I was a tiny non-spicy-food-eating baby. The wings are the best in town IMO. This is my favorite Buffalo sauce -- I like to get hot and add garlic powder, extra wet if I'm getting them to go. Fantastic homemade ranch dressing. Curly fries are good and huge portions. The worst wings I have ever had here. My husband and I have been eating here since the day they opened over 35 years ago. The wings were over cooked, they were so dry I almost choked. Well where do I start. Parking lot was weird coming off of 290, small and very tight. We placed a to go order and they were fast and friendly however the food was a mess.. we ordered 16 bone in wings (10 lemon pepper 6 Parmesan) also had a kids meal and my son had the 4 wings 2 chicken strips. Now let's get into it, the wings were dry like they had been cooked earlier and then re-cooked. The imitation lemon pepper was liquified but still tasted dull, no pazaaazz, at all. I was outside so can't speak on the inside or ambiance of the place but food would get a 1/10 in my book. The chicken strips were breaded with some thick (funnel cake like dough) nasty, e we asked for bbq sauce on the side and it was runny and tasteless. Like why have a big building and name it after wings if that's not the specialty. The worst part of it was the fries, which seems to be a houston thing, haven't had good fries anywhere at this point, they were curly but no taste and before we made the uturn to get on 290 they were already cold and just ugh. The bar is generally top notch. It depends on the people working. Tonight it was busy and the bartenders were rude to me and my buddy. I looked through the menu and decided to get the chicken strips/wings combo. It comes with regular curly fries. While this place many not have as many flavors to choose from as other chicken wing places, I always tend to get parmesan and lemon pepper anyway. I love how you can have your strips plain or pick from any of the flavors they have. Wait staff service was very friendly and always checked in with me. This place is AMAZING! I've coming here for a long time and you are greeted friendly and the waiters are always the same people which is good, shows that this company cares about their customers as well as their employees. The waiters are very fast and attentive to what you need. The hostess lady is so friendly and I feel like I family when I go here because they treat you so nice and with a smile. Now the food is just as amazing. The chili cheese fries are to die for. They come out so warm with just the right amount of chili and cheese. The wings are so good too, just the right amount of sauce and you don't have to wait long to get your order, they are pretty fast. They serve the best ranch dressing I've had. I used to work off of Hollister @290. Boy was I happy to find Wings n Things close by! Service was ALWAYS fantastic. If any mistakes were made - and they were few and far between - they were always rectified quickly and efficiently. The wings, I have to say, are the best in town. They have the perfect combination of size, quality, sauce, and freshness for their traditional bone-in wings. I wouldn't THINK of getting boneless. Lemon pepper wings also PARTICULARLY good - I often would split an order half and half hot/lemon-pepper. Never breaded. I hope they put a location in closer to the Woodlands - I've also visited their Kuykendahl location, which is just as good. Highly recommend! read more

The guy answering the phone needs some training, all he says after you give him your first selection is "anything else?" Over and over again with an attitude. The restaurant moved It's location to across the parking lot in the previous Black Eye Pea restaurant. It was a much needed change. The wings are delicious and fixed as ordered.
