My wife and I use to go to the Tavern before COVID and we're glad to see someone opening a new place in the neighborhood! The interior is very nice with lots of tables and very comfortable chairs. The food was delicious. I tried the pastrami slider, the chicken tenders and the parmesan garlic chicken wings. My wife had the sweet potato fries and tater tots. Desperately wanted to love this place since it's within walking distance from our house. My husband and I were craving wings, so figured we'd try this place out. Staff was very friendly and kind, everything else definitely needs some work. Table we sat at was sticky and gross. We cleaned it off with some napkins and tbey were pretty brown after. Men's bathroom had no paper towels and my husband said it was pretty gross. I didn't want to chance checking out the women's. Beer was cold, served in a plastic cup. Wings were AWFUL! Flavorless. I couldn't order alcohol because of a medical condition I have, but the server kept recommending beer and soju until I asked to see if there was any non-alcoholic beverages only to settle for a diet coke that tasted like a mix between regular root beer and part cleaning solution. Also ordered the fish and chips and while the presentation looked good, the fries were soggy and the fish tasted like it mixed with something that didn't taste right. Not even the tartar sauce could cover the aftertaste on the fish & chips. I would like to patronize the bar while I'm there to support my friends that run their karaoke night, but after the experience I had with the food and drinks, I think I'll just ask for a water. read more

I went to this place on Saturday for the first time and let me tell you I was impressed. It is a nice location. Big & spacious. Plenty of seating. Great pool tables. The wings are the bomb! Nice, crispy and flavorful. I tried a sweet garlic & mango habanero flavor. We also ordered tater tots. All bomb. They have a great variety of beers and seltzers on tap. Bottles as well.
