When I first had bbq chicken, it was incredible. So juicy, crispy, perfect amount of flavor, quick…read moreservice, easy meal. One of my favorites, except for the fact it is a little pricey. I kept going back for awhile but started to notice the fry on the chicken wasn't the same so I stopped for maybe a year. After I finished dining at the restaurant next door, bbq chicken looked like it was closed (like permanently!). I was actually so disappointed because I did want to give it another try. A couple weeks later I checked online and they were open again! I went back and omg it is SO much better! I don't know what they did.. did the recipe change? Did they change the oil? Different oil? Whatever it is, keep it up because this chicken is so smacking good. Even my brother said this is actually pretty comparable to the ones in Korea. Only one thing to note is the original spicy isn't as spicy as it used to be! Maybe add a bit more kick to it? Otherwise, it was a great experience, plenty of seating, very clean and casual interior. Can't wait to go back!

It gives off fast food place but at the same time it's also somewhere that I could see a lot of people sitting and drinking with friends at night Service: 8/10 Like I said, it's more like a fast food place. You place the order at your table and they bring it to you. Other than that, theres not much checking in. But the lady was so nice! Food: 8/10 The water had some weird specs in it so we decided to order sparkling water lol. We ordered: - side of coleslaw The Portion was PERFECT - Soy Garlic Chicken It was good but the seasoning was more on the salty side - So Ddeok So Ddeok Love love love the rice cake, I don't really like sausages so I put it to the side, but my boyfriend ended up eating it all anyways. Overall, it a great place to come, hang out and grab a bite. The chicken was just a little too salty for my liking but everything is such a reasonable price!

The atmosphere was eclectic, with K-pop playing on one television and Animal Planet on another-- I was also the only one there. The service was incredibly warm--the woman who helped me was so kind and made the experience feel very welcoming, even dining solo. Everything came out impressively fast, which is perfect if you're looking for a reliable lunch break spot. I'm already planning my next visit; there is so much more on the menu I'm eager to try. Highly recommended if you're looking for an authentic, no-fuss meal.

They use onion and zucchini in their version, which reminded me of college because all the Korean restaurants there had onion and zucchini in their version as well. I, however, do not like onion and zucchini in my tofu soup because it makes it sweet. I like my soup spicy. I did ask for extra spicy but it was not spicy at all. The jalapeño sauce they have on the side was amazingly spicy though. I would not recommend their soft tofu soup; however, I did try the soup with the tendon and that one tasted great. 3.5 stars rounding up to 4 because the lady was so nice.

Instead of quickly explaining the credit card minimum (which is the same in many restaurants ) he took four excruciating paragraphs "virtue signaling" about apologizes, courtesy, respect and making customers unwelcome. Instead of having his workers back he threw them under the bus after following the managements own rules. Who would want to work for such a moron.

This side of the plaza didn't really seem to have much happening. The nearby stores were closed. Honestly this restaurant felt very home-y like a mom and pop biz. Menu is easy to read with lots of pictures. We ordered the seafood pancakes, special combo {galbi + mul naeng myun}. I love the ban chan here!! They have japchae, fish cakes, kimchi, eggplants, spicy tofu, bean sprouts, potatoes, and broccoli. Refills please!! Honestly everything we ate did not disappoint. Crispy seafood pancake. The cold noodz hits the spot. Galbi was well marinated and not overly charred. The staff here were attentive and super sweet! I'll definitely be back!! Recommend!!

I didn't know that you could call for a reservation, or get on their waitlist with Yelp. I was going to do my order to go, when I was asked if I wouldn't mind sitting at the bar. Not at all. I was seated right away, and I was helped by Allison, who was also tending bar. She was a very nice lady, and she took very good care of me. The restaurant has. A nautical theme to it. I decided to go with the Cajun chowder, and the softshell crab po' boy. . My food comes quickly, and the order was huge! It was a very good, rich chowder, with just a tiny bit of a "zip" from the Cajun spices. They definitely gave it a good flavor. There were lots of goodies inside. The one thing about the chowder, was they didn't take out the bay leaves, and I did get a couple.. I just put them off to the side. I'm not going to take off a star, because the chowder was so good. Hey, It happens.... The po' boy was huge! The softshell crab was not over breaded. I could taste the crab with no problem, and it was a little bit sweet, a little bit savory, with that wonderful "crabby" flavor. The roll was a soft roll, , but it still held up to the sandwich extremely well The lettuce, and tomato were crisp and fresh . The Cajun fries, had a little bit of a zip to them, but not too much. they came with ketchup, and their house Cajun sauce. I didn't even touch the ketchup. The sandwich already had some Cajun sauce on it, I put a little bit more. The rest, I used to dip the fries. I only made it halfway through the sandwich, and the fries. The rest came back to my room with me for another great meal. I also got another little "tub" of that sauce to take with me. The entire time, Alison was so personable, , we chatted a little bit about this and that... She is definitely an asset to that restaurant. (Tell her boss to give her a raise...:). The price was extremely reasonable for such a wonderful meal, and they also have a military/veterans discount this was such a great meal, I would gladly come back here again. Thank you so very much
