Alright.. So, at this point I would consider myself a regular of delivery from Wings Over Milwaukee. I've gotten delivery here several times, mostly due to the inexpensive delivery charge of $1.50.. but also because they've been fast and accurate each time I've ordered from them. Here's my gripe: Most of the time when I am hungry for fast delivery happens to be late at night (go figure) and although Wings Over does deliver late (I believe until 3am? could be wrong) I've noticed the quality of the wings is just not the same late at night. Every time I have ordered Wings Over past, let's say midnight, the wings have been very dry, and at least one time the fries were completely inedible. I'd have chipped a tooth had I tried. All that being said, Wings Over will continue to be my late night delivery destination, as they are cheap, and haven't forgotten anything in my order yet. And as far as late night delivery.. a few mishaps are to be expected, but I would order far more often if it was more consistent!! read more

Got these delivered for a lazy night, and was pretty satisfied with it. The wings were crispy and tasted delicious especially with their dipping sauce. The waffle fries however was slightly off for me, it arrived slightly soggy (probably due to the moisture) but still edible. I guess I should have tempered my expectations a bit but after hearing a friend rave about the one in East Lansing we walked in with high hopes. It was early Saturday night. It wasn't too busy and although we did have to wait, I have no problem waiting for food to be made fresh. The drunken vagrant hanging out in front of the building offered some entertainment during our wait and after a while he walked inside and started yelling and cursing at people. About 5 minutes into the show our food was ready, the man was removed from the building by another customer and we were on our way back to the apartment to enjoy some wings (or so we thought). After the unboxing of the feast, visually looked like your typical grease laden drunk food and it smelled great but the taste was another story. Disclaimer: I'm a firm believer that BW3's Caribbean jerk sauce is pretty much the best thing that's happened to the chicken since the invention of the boneless wing. With that being said, naturally I went all in on a pound and a half of the boneless wings lathered in Jamaican Jerk sauce instead of sampling different flavors. Upon first bite it was immediately clear that I had made a huge mistake. The "Jamaican jerk" tasted more like that shitty buttery hot sauce you get on 10¢ wing night at a local dive bar but laced with hints of BBQ and vinegar. It was inedible even in my intoxicated state and I ended up wiping the sauce off a couple of wings with paper towels just to eat them before finally giving up. We had considered walking back and giving them to the homeless man but decided that would be offensive because even he wouldn't have enjoyed them. (It was really that bad) The waffle fries were the saving grace of this experience. Without them I would have stayed drunk and starving for the rest of the night. I think I'm willing to go back once more and try something else before I give up on this place for good because my friends seemed to be enjoying their dry rub wings. Disregard the bad reviews you read on here. I had a basically perfect experience with W.O.M. last night. The lady who answered the phone was polite. I was told 30-40 minutes for delivery, and was pleased when the driver arrived in only 20 minutes. My food was hot and well-made. Being the sous chef at one of the Journal's top 5 restaurants, I know what I'm talking about. Boneless wings were pieces of real breast meat, not mechanically separated chicken like you get in a McChicken, and they were definitely hand-breaded in the store. The garlic-parm dry rub was not lacking flavor at all. Waffle fries were crisp and properly salted. I will absolutely order from them again, and soon. read more

Update: I decided to give Wings Over Milwaukee a second chance. This time the food was hot, tender and pretty good. They were very nice and welcoming. The Jamaican jerk is more sweet, so it doesn't really have a kick to it like I was expecting. Overall, I think I'll give this place another try when I'm craving wings but don't want to fight for a seat at Points. First things first: I am very picky when it comes to wings. I like my wings slightly crispy and not soggy from not being drenched in sauce. Oh, and I like all food to at least be warm. Knowing that, I'm sure you can figure out why I gave this place one star. I was very hopeful going here since wings is the main food they specialize it. Despite having several beers prior, I was still incredibly disappointed with the food! We got 2 orders of wings (one with a rub and one with a sauce) and fries. Both the wings and the fries were cold! In addition, the environment is uncomfortable. The tables and chairs are wobbly (weird considering it's a new place, right? Oh and there's only 2 tables), we were not greeted when we walked in, and the music...we'll just say that I'm pretty sure this place is owned/ran by a high schooler. No joke. I'm giving Wings Over Milwaukee a three for two reasons: I think they're moderately over-priced and despite their Brady location, my house in Riverwest is not in their delivery area. After discovering their tiny delivery radius my panicked boyfriend had to choose between missing the beginning of the Cowboys game (never!) or not ordering wings. So I ended up running over there to grab the order. We paid $25 for 12 boneless wings, three sauces, one dip, and waffle fries. They did not provide carrot sticks so I had to chop my own because what are wings without carrot sticks? It is not a big place, just a few tables and an order counter so don't plan on eating there. Now, this place, was impressive for the amount of food that we got for the amount of money. I approve. Here's why: 1) Their boneless, we're just chicken nuggets that you get at Buffalo Wild Wings. They are litterally the largest pieces of breast meat. Not to mention, they charge by pounds not by pieces. The chicken was good! I've eaten there a few times the food is fine for what it is, late eats. However, service sucks. Recently, I ordered on line to have it delivered at a specific time. Two hours after the time specified I still had not received my food. There are many late night eats where this would not be a problem while still having the same or better food. I gave it two stars rather than one in expectation of not being charged for food I've not received and called to cancel. I guess if it works out otherwise I'll alter the rating. If you get food from here don't order online, it's not reliable. I can't speak to calling in but I'd temper your expectations. Since that experience I was contacted by the owner with the intention of fixing the issue. I have not order from there as I did that night. When I pick it up or order for asap delivery it's fine so far. I've added a star in hopes that this amounts to a legitimate quality improvement and not a rating appeal. I'll update should the consistency change and/or if the same issue occurs. Had this delivered through DoorDash, just to try something new. I tried the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich combo with Waffle Fries. The chicken sandwich is by far the best buffalo chicken sandwich I've had! Large piece of moist chicken and just the right amount of sauce! Waffle fries were okay. It's always such a mission to find great boneless wings anywhere...but look no further. I stopped here when I was visiting a friend in Milwaukee last weekend. First off, let me start with the downright (amazing) basics this place offers up. 1. Fresh, never frozen chicken, and boy, could you tell. Their boneless chick is slightly bigger than the norm and i'm ok with that. The meat was so fresh and so juicy, how chicken should be. 2. Breaded in store. Again, goes along with the fresh never frozen chicken. The crust on the boneless was amazing. Crunchy and very decently breaded (the chicken to breading ratio was perfect which can be an extremely hard thing to find. There is nothing worse than too much crust and not enough chicken. This place has their ratios down!) 3. Sauce choice, sauce choice, sauce choice. Say no more. I am a sauce person, so the more options for me, the better! It's so hard to choose what sauces i want with over 20 different options! I'm on a mission to try every sauce in the store (knowing i'll have my favorites of course, but as a sauce connoisseur, it is a mission of mine). 4. On top of the amazing wings, they serve up waffle fries! Who doesn't love waffle fries? Can't go wrong there! 5. The sauces on top of sauces. There is nothing more I hate than bottled ranch (it must be homemade from the hidden valley packet). However, this place has managed to get ranch that tastes more like homemade than bottled. I say the same for the blue cheese (even though I opt for ranch in most scenarios) i had to try knowing their ranch was up to par. Overall, a wonderful wing experience. Amazing food, fast delivery. My first attempt at ordering here was a poor experience, but the owner was kind enough to send me a gift card to make up for it. I'm glad he did because I am eating as I type and it is good. To be fair, my bf has ordered food from here a few times, so I know the chicken and the fries are good... really good, actually. I love the parm garlic seasoning on the fries. Anyways, tonight I ordered online, which I have to give points for because ordering online should be easy, yet somehow many businesses make it way too difficult... that is not the case here; very easy, which I appreciated. I placed my order, I went and picked it up, it was ready on time and the staff was very nice. My only complaint was that I wish my food was a bit crisper. Its softer than I'd like. Absolutely love Wings Over Milwaukee. I must say, I was a huge fan when I lived in Madison and nothing has changed. The new Milwaukee location has been able to replicate the same high-quality wings I grew accustomed to in Madison. I often hear people state how much they love Buffalo Wild Wings, but let me tell you this: Wings Over is real, never frozen, BIG pieces of boneless chicken, not that gross over breaded "chicken" BW3 is serving. Nothing comes close to the amount of food you get for the price. I've done the whole BW3 thing for years and years, and Wings Over was a much needed boost to my taste buds. You're definitely getting more bang for your buck by hitting up Wings Over. It's not a sit-down wing place as it's primarily delivery and carryout, so don't expect to be able to go in with a few friends and find a table, there won't be any tables (only a couple where most people wait for their to-go order to be ready). That's the beauty of Wings Over Milwaukee. It's not just delicious chicken, it's chicken that can be delivered to your front door! The flavor. Oh the flavor! Honey Barbecue is my go to sauce choice. Nothing spicy, but sweet, tangy, and oh so delicious. Dip your combo (almost ALWAYS crispy) fries in some of the Honey BBQ, heaven. Kind of like a Wingstop without the franchise quality. Just about adequate if you're spilling out of The Nomad and need to line your stomach with something greasy. Otherwise nothing special. The interior was like a shady kebab shop. Shabbily decorated and not very clean. One of the workers was eating her lunch on an upturned cardboard box behind the counter. The chicken was hand cut into fingers rather than nuggets, which was a plus. But it was tough and overcooked. There is nothing for kids - no smaller portions, no milk or juice. I ordered online, through Eat Street (the only online ordering option) - and chose a 25 minute delay. When I arrived at the store, the order seemed to have been sitting out for a bit but it wasn't until I arrived home that I found cold, soggy fries with my wings. It was quite disappointing considering there are more fries than wings with the daily special. Although the wings were ok, they fell apart too easily which made them difficult to eat. We were at The Eastsider bar for the Badger game when I ordered food. Probably took 20 minutes for them to bring the original wings and boneless wings but they forgot the waffle fries. They offered either a $4 credit for next time I called an order or to bring my fries in about 20 or 30 minutes. I told them I'd be fine with them bringing the fries since I don't live in Milwaukee and wasn't sure how soon I'd be back. Fries came in about half an hour but tasted old and stale, like they gave me my original fries and not fresh ones. Next time, no matter what, I'll take the credit. My first review was based on the first day they were open, so that can be taken with a grain of salt, and my last couple of visits have been just fine. Their namesake wings are some of the better ones I've had. They're bigger and juicier than what I was used to from other places, the selection of flavors is great, and they arrive hot and promptly. I definitely recommend Wings for, uh, wings. Their other menu items? Not so much. I've ordered one buffalo chicken sandwich, one cheeseburger, and two Caesar salads with grilled chicken and was dissatisfied with all of them. The chicken sandwich was so heavily sauced that both the "crispy" chicken and the bun were soggy and began to fall apart when I picked it up and basically collapsed when I took a bite. The burger patty and the chicken on both salads were all so aggressively grilled that the coal-black grill marks not only dried them out but left an acrid taste as if someone had cooked them with a blowtorch, perhaps dripping some fuel in the process. Honestly, this used to be my favorite cheap delivery place and I used to order from them a lot. But after the customer service I received tonight I am going to take my business elsewhere from now on. First off I ordered through Eatstreet because it is easier than navigating their poorly designed website. There must of been an issue with the order because instead of it going through as a combo with barbecue boneless wings and a side of waffle fries with blue cheese sauce it went through as a combo of waffle fries and regular fries. What they sent me was a plain wing, waffle fries and a ranch, no regular fries(which I didn't want but put it in here as context to how they knew that that is not what I wanted to order.) When I called the guy I gave him my first name and he looked up my order and the first thing he did was acknowledge that my order came through weird. When I asked if I could get it fixed he said no because it was against policy but he said he could give me a $5 credit to my next order. When I asked "why didn't you call me to verify my order if you knew it was off" I got completely ignored and was told AGAIN that I could only get a $5 credit on my next order. I asked for his supervisor and all I got was "I am a supervisor" probably just so he could ignore the issue. Luckily Eatstreet understood and refunded my money but the sheer unprofessional and immature way this was handled has turned me from a frequent customer to a "never again" customer. I advise that if you're thinking of trying this place out, don't, go to Wingstop because they have much better food and better customer service. Update: The owner had reached out to me regarding this experience. He was extremely polite and helpful. Because of this I will say that this restaurant is definitely worth trying just because it seems like the owner does care about customer service. read more

The wings here are okay. The sauce is a bit much. It's a bunch of chicken drowning in sauce but some people like that so I can't complain. My biggest issue is When ordering for delivery online it seems like they don't pay any attention to the special requests. I've tried making special request to have sauce put on the side twice and both requests have been ignored when my delivery came. Maybe it's just not possible?. I've tried the burgers too and well... they are kinda bad. The patty is VERY overdone, almost burnt.
