We stopped by Limanskis while on a makeshift wing crawl, as we had heard their wings are some of the best in Milwaukee. We ordered the grilled and crispy - the grilled wings were tiny, good but super small and the crispy were decent but a bit too greasy. If you're looking for flavor though, this is definitely the spot. There are some really crazy flavors and so many options for sauces! Their fries were super good though! I was heading over to the West Allis Classic car show and I remember that the food scene was like one Bbq food truck and a couple of 0 interest stands so I did a U turn and stopped here to grab a beer and some lunch. The bar is your typical neighborhood bar with regulars eating and drinking. The place has a long bar with pool, darts and some tables behind it with plenty of TVs. I order the New Glarus October fest as my beer with lunch and I was told that a mini pitcher is $1 more than a pint so that's a no brainer. I ask to see the menu and the wings sounded good with way to many flavor choices so I order the buffalo wings. My jaw hit the floor when the bar tender said she needed a credit card to place my food order to start my tab, I'm a party of one with $12 worth of wings and a beer lunch, seriously. I'm completely insulted by this because this usually happens with a group that I'm with and I expect this but not when I'm having lunch by my self so I tell her here's a cash $20 spot, that should cover the $12 lunch and your tip if your worried about a dine and dash situation. WOW I honestly can't remember ever having to leave a credit card before my lunch order can be placed from any place before this, this is not a good first impression at all. I ordered my buffalo wings naked, grilled and finished off in the buffalo sauce with blue cheese sauce. When the wings hit my table I noticed no celery like the business owner photo shows. The wings looked good but the smaller kind I noticed. The wings were average/ok and not even close to knocking off my favorite but I still liked them, just past moist but not in the dry zone and probably previously frozen texture wise. First off let me say I usually LOVE this place. However, I noticed my bill seemed a little high and then asked for itemized receipt. Then saw they charged gratuity with NO advertisement of that anywhere. Then I posted this in the Facebook group, Milwaukee Foodie to let people know and the bartender TOOK A PICTURE OF MY RECEIPT AND POSTED IT. I tipped on top the gratuity which wasn't even deserved due to the inadequate service and long wait. I asked for part of my food to go and some of it for here and got it all to go. You know those small neighborhood bars where you walk in and everyone from the staff to patrons stare you down like you don't belong? Well, that's not Limanskis. We grabbed a spot at the bar on a Wednesday night and we were greeted by every staff member throughout our night, even the line cooks. We came here for one thing, wings with their fabled sauces and dry rubs. I've heard about the unique sauces that vary from glazed donut to jalapeño cheddar bacon, chipotle peach to cinnamon bun, so I was intrigued. Wednesday is their 50 cent wing special, with a downright awesome minimum of four wings per sauce. Another unique feature to their wing deal is that you can choose between grilled, naked or crispy breaded. We ordered a few combos of flavors, along with hitting up their $7 domestic pitcher special. The wings came out at an alright pace, you could tell some of the regulars got their orders before we did but beer in hand we weren't bothered. The wings were smaller than I expected after getting used to a lot of the jumbo wings that are out there these days, but at 50 cent a piece I don't have much to complain about. They were cooked perfectly, sauces were delicious and not overly salty, and that glazed donut flavor I mentioned earlier?! It's a must order. Think of chicken and waffles but with a richer and deeper flavor profile. We ended up getting another pitcher, so we decided to grab an order of their gooey cheesecurds. They came out quick and were a monster helping of fresh, gooey, stringy cheese curds. Definitely top three curds in Milwaukee. Anywho, get yourself here, grab a spot at the bar and enjoy. Ordered delivery from this pub! First time trying it. Used the UberEats app. Delivery was fast and the driver was nice. The sauce on the Memphis bbq wings was really delicious! Very sweet and flavorful. I liked that they put a lot of sauce on them. The dry rub was okay, you couldn't really taste any Cajun flavor on them though. I saw this place on Channel 6 on I believe was on a Real Milwaukee segment about their wings which looked pretty, pretty good. And no sooner after that, I've heard from a few friends that the wings are legit and to try to go on Monday or Wednesday when they're .50 cents. Me a friend of mine decided to stop up there after work yesterday for .50 wing night. She's been there before for drinks but never had the wings. I asked the bartender if they had a happy hour and if so what were their specials. He told me that all domestic taps/bottles were half price and rail drinks were $3 till 6. I went with a pint of Coors Light and thought damn! I can't remember the last time paying a $1.50 for a tapper and a pint a that. My friend finally arrives and after talking for about a half hour we decided to order our food. I like to dip my wings in my sauce, so I went with breaded and got your classic buffalo sauce on the side with teriyaki as well. My friend got the jalapeno, cheddar and bacon wings which were a dry rub and also their maple bacon which were served the same way. The teriyaki was decent and the buffalo sauce. I really like how seasoned the wings are and I can see myself ordering them in the future just like that without sauce on the side. My friend really like her wings. The jalapeno, cheddar and bacon she said it wasn't too spicy which was fine with her and enjoyed with the maple wings too. There is no doubt we will be back again and I would like to get up there for their fish fry. I heard some good things about it so if the fish is as good as the wings, I'm in good hands. And BTW, the list of sauce they have for their wings has got to be as long as my forearm! Kudos Limanski's! read more

Wednesday wing night is always amazing! I always enjoy the company of amazing bartenders and amazing wings with a cold beer. I always ask for the sauce of the week because the owners are always mixing up something amazing! Make sure to go early on Wednesday or deal with the night rush grill is open from 11AM-10PM. Amazing wings! Definitely get them crispy/fried and get the cinnamon bun flavor, you wont be disappointed! I also loved the sweet memphis bbq and and pickle fries appetizer. Definitely will be coming back again on a monday or wednesday for wing nights! The only complaint I have is it's sometimes difficult to order on a busy night since there's no servers, if you're not sitting at the bar. My wife and I got wings to go and trying the food here for the first time. These were some of the best wings we have ever had. We each got wings that had sauce on them and they were sauced up. Juicy bites and cooked perfectly. I cannot speak more highly of them. Drinks at the bar while we waited, our bartender was very friendly. Great atmosphere with plenty of TVs for viewing. I've heard of Limanskis and their offering of grilled wings through friends. During this pandemic I have seen their specials on Milwaukee Foodie Facebook daily. Took the plunge and ordered the 24 traditional wings with fries for only $20. The customer service on the phone was great, offered multiple sauces per 6 wings. I chose Spicy Garlic, Spicy Ranch, Thai Peanut, and Garlic Parmesan. I did order the wings grilled. When arriving for pickup I received great customer service as well! With this being a global pandemic I did not get to dine in, I did bring these home about 10-12 minutes away. The wings were a little smaller than I anticipated, but the sauces were incredible and the wings were cooked to perfection - crisp, not burnt, and juicy. The spicy garlic was my favorite sauce. I do plan on ordering from them again, they offer a wide array of sauces and dry rubs for their wings and offer special and limited time sauces as well. Inside their dining are they do have multiple dart boards and run leagues I was told. During a time of craziness in the world it was a delight to get a great meal and scratch my chicken wing itch I had. read more

WEDNESDAY WINGS* Second time at Limanskis Pub (for discounted wings on Wednesdays). It was extremely packed around 7 o'clock as expected. My first venture here was much early in the day a week prior, and I highly recommend stopping by earlier than later if you plan on getting wings. We had a 30 min to an hour wait on our wings, and the service was okay--a lot of people to wait/serve on, so I understand that the bartender was fairly busy. Unfortunately, it took nearly ten minutes to close my tab, and I had to wait several times to get napkins, blue cheese dressing, and another pitcher of beer. The establishment is nice--a haunt for sure. I can tell it is only on its second year in operation under I assume is new ownership. One half of the bar is set up for competitive darts, so it was hard trying to find a seat at the bar or at the few tables there. There are some tvs set up around the joint. The bathrooms were clean enough and the employees were friendly. The food was excellent as usual (per having gone here twice). I recommend getting more wings than less because they aren't jumbo wings. The blue cheese and ranch was included, and there are some asterisks involved when buying wings on Wednesday. The flavor selection is solid with over maybe 20 flavors. I got 24 wings: teriyaki, buffalo, razzle dazzle, and honey garlic. My buddy got some sweeter sauces and while they were "good" (sort of gimmicky), I wouldn't suggest them. My wing flavors were all very good. I recommend checking this place out just as long as you find a decent time where it isn't busy. The bartender made some good flavor recommendations, so don't forget to ask if you're lost on selections. I would like to give the fish fry a try... read more

Might be best wings in Milwaukee. Very solid competition for Tomken's and Points East. They have soooooo many wing flavors and many are excellent. I highly recommend getting the buffalo and parm mixed. It's an off menu sauce and excellent. Service can be spotty. Not because they are lazy, but just under staffed. Tonight was the 1st time I have ordered anything from here and I decided to order the baked pretzel bites and the chicken quesadilla. The pretzel bites were AMAZING! I wish I would have ordered more of them! Unfortunately, the quesadilla was DISGUSTING! It was seriously lacking on the chicken (maybe 2 small pieces of chicken per slice of quesadilla) and the chicken tasted like it was past its expiration date and had a very nasty taste to it. On their wing night you need to realize that DINE In means DINE In. Ordered a dozen wings because they require a minimum order of 6 wings per flavor and I wanted to try 2 different flavors. After sitting with my buddy for an 1 1/2 hour, ordering 3 beers each, a dozen wings each, I asked for a box for my 4 uneaten wings. The waitress looked up at me and said that she would need to charge me a $1.00 for the box. She then referred to the wing sheet that did say DINE In Only.(This seems to be funny with the regulars since several of them told me I should bring a ziplock bag with me for any that are left). I honestly thought that this was a bar prank that they just did to unexpecting customers. It Wasn't I guess in my world Dine In means to me that you sit at the bar, eat your food, have some drinks, and do not take advantage of the special, in this case wing night you have met what Dine In means. Like the guy who had to put up a credit card to run a tab and I have also run into the same pathetic rule, this was the last straw for me. I now have reacquainted myself with McGinns on Bluemound. Their wings are $.10/ea more on their wing night which is still a reasonable price and $.75 normally which is cheaper than Limanski's regular price. Their wings are also larger making it a better deal than Limanski's $.50/ea special and less likely to be dry which I have also had preciously at Limanski's. Bottom line is that I will not miss Limanski's. As we left my buddy did offer a solid suggestion to the waitress. Charge $.10 more and don't piss people off charging for boxes. By the way McGinns does not charge for a box for any wings that are left. read more

Nice size, and full of sauce and dry rurub they offered breaded, deep fried and then grilled, or deep fried alone. My girl likes to try different places for wings and some places call themselves the king of wings of the city. So the first time I went here I got the basic buffalo flavor and lemon pepper flavor, I figure if you can't get the basics right, that tells me what you need to know. The buffallo flavor were just about like any buffallo wings at so many bars. The lemon pepper wings were so salty I could barely test the chicken. Wingstop ones are way better. At this point I am thinking Limanski's is super overrated, although my buddies swear they have best wings in Milwaukee. I come back a week later to try different flavors, their maple bacon is their award winning one, I say give it a try. And my oh my, was I surprised. I got it crispy and it seemed to be a dry rub. I thought this would be gross...maple sweet flavor and bacon flavor? On CHICKEN WINGS?! Has to be gross, right? It got brought out to me and it smelled like breakfast...these are wings, though. I am VERY skeptical...but then. Then I bite in. And the flavor! Ohhh yesss the right amount of seasoning and what appears to be a combo you wouldn't think works, DOES. MAPLE. BACON. WINGS. And it is amazing. I have since been there 3 days in a row for these. Maple bacon is the truth. This pub won best wings so when I moved here I couldn't wait to try it out. They have over 40 flavors combined with their normal and limited edition. Our party of 3 got 6 different flavors. They were cooked fine. The flavors were extremely bland. The best wing flavor was the garlic parmesan which wasn't even that good. The maple one that won wingfest was so bland I have no idea how it won. They all tasted like something was missing. We all went home hungry. Sometimes you just need to pick your best flavors and stick to those 6 or so. On the plus side they do categorize the wing flavors in how spicy they are. But even the three stars aren't that spicy so if you are looking for hot hot then look at the end of the list. read more

My friends and I stopped here because we were sent a flyer via text about their ladies night "$20 AUCD rail, tap, and White Claws". When we arrived the bartenders had no idea about the ladies night, but said they would honor it anyway (we showed them the flier too) which was nice.
