    R & R
    Bruce F.

R & R's wings should be eaten when you're trying to enjoy some "R & R"......... R&R specializes in wings and they do it very well. They have a wide selection of sauces and flavors along with spice and heat levels. I normally like dry rub wings but opted for the Parmesan Garlic which were a wet rub. Not everyone does spicy garlic well but they have mastered the art of savory, juicy and seasoned. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of these small yet satisfying wings. I'll probably double the order next time as just awas taking my last bite did it dawn on me that the meal was over. Fries came with the order and they were crispy on the outside and well seasoned. The ladies behind the counter were helpful and entertaining. Great food, great service!

So freaking good' I've been turned on to this place because of people I work with, we have had it two times in 4 days and I need to get control of myself. The wings are tasty, I had the sweet chili and the lemon pepper, the flavor/ spicy was awesome. All around tasty on its own and with hot sauce and ranch, perfection as well. The fries "slap" as well, not soggy, perfect amount of salt, and having them with the dipping sauces is perfection. Loved both of my sets of wings, I love traditional wings, and was impressed. The price point is also great and the quality doesn't disappoint! I'll be a repeat customer since both times we've gotten wings they have been awesome. I'm glad I've gotten turned on to this place!

An order of frozen Mozzarella Sticks they sent home as a replacement for the onion rings they were out of
    Veronica L.

Placed an order online. Showed up a few minutes after the time it was supposed to be ready, sent my husband inside alone because I wasn't feeling well. He had to wait another 50 minutes. They store was full of other frustrated people doing the same. When they finally called him over, it was to tell him that they were out of onion rings and asked if he wanted mozzarella sticks to replace them. He said no, we'll just take another order of fries. The order was ready a few minutes later. When we got home, not only did they not send more fries, they sent FULLY FROZEN MOZZARELLA STICKS. They hadn't been near a fryer. Just completely frozen. It sucks, because the food we waited 1.5 hours for was actually really good (well, not the mozzarella sticks, those went in the trash). But I can't ever go back to a place that in good conscience sent uncooked food home with someone. Honestly insulting to do that to a paying customer who waited patiently.

Founders favorite (left) and garlic permesan (right)

Officially my favorite saucy wings in Indy...especially that garlic permesan The wings are smaller than what you might find at other wing spots, but what they lack in size they make up for in flavor. So order more than you might from other wing places, and even if you end up with leftovers, you'll know they won't go to waste.

I'd prefer these wings over some of the chain places. I love the Founders sauce which is like a BBQ with a little heat. This time I tried the hot honey garlic which were tasty. For fries, get it with the garlic parm sauce. You will thank me later. You can get any sauce on top of the fries, but some don't work as well. For example we got the hot garlic on top of one of the fries but it was dry. Gotta get out of the national chain game and try this place out!

I have eaten this a few times and it has been tasty each time. I like to try a different sauce each visit. So far I've tried Founder's Favorite, Honey BBQ, and Sweet Chili. I've tried the wings and boneless wings. I always get the Parmesan garlic sauce added on the fries. They currently offer a lunch specials and certain deals on certain day. On Wednesdays, they offer 50¢ boneless wings. A $5 chicken sandwich is the special for Thursday. There are other locations on the west side and northwest side of the city.

10 Pieces of Traditional Wings Fries

finally tried some of the most talked about wings in the city! I had the 10 piece traditional wings with fries topped with their Parmesan Garlic Sauce. The sauce I got on my wings were their house sauce! The flavor of the house sauce was a little heat and a little sweet which I loved. The sauce on the fries were so good. Pricing is very reasonable and they do have specials on certain days.

Parmesan Fries & Mild Buffalo Wings
    Jessica L.

Ordered delivery and my food was still warm when it arrived! 6 Mild Buffalo wings with the Parmesan fries - perfect and under $10! I've had this location and the one on Michigan, I am impressed with this chain!

The fish was fresh, hot, seasoned and delicious! It did not have a "fishy" taste or like it had been frozen. The garlic parm bone- in wings are my fave! I will go back everytime. I have only been to the west Lafayette rd location tho.... soooo I can't speak on the other locations.

Founders sauce wings drizzled in garlic parm. Fries drizzled in garlic parm.

The ball spent more time off the table than it did on it :D This visit, I built my own gluten-free pizza with olive oil, garlic, basil, rosemary, arugula, prosciutto, and goat cheese. It was fresh, flavorful. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, and the patio made for a great place to spend the evening. It's one of those spots that's just as much about the experience as it is the food, which is why I keep coming back.

Delicious and fresh food, so much fun for the kids, and service was good but a little slow. Only downside is the location. Area is pretty worn down. Food: The pizza is delicious and fresh. Nice chew, a little bit crisp and the great smell of freshly dough. We got the sausage and pepperoni; sausage was better but both were good. The breadsticks were hot and delicious. A little soggy with butter but I mean.. it's butter. Is that bad? Dipping cheese was better than your standard stadium nacho cheese. Chopped salad was very fresh. Not the most interesting but still good. Hot Honey chicken wings were clearly freshly battered and fried. Incredible. Very similar to Korean Fried Chicken. Alcohol: Beer and wine option were good. Could use a couple more wine options. Beer and wine had a great range of styles and prices. Bar looked very well stocked for mixed drinks or drinking neat. Service: Staff was kind and helpful. They could have been slightly more available. The food did take a while longer than I would have expected for it not being that busy. But with how fresh it was, I'm sure it's because they were making it fresh. Ambiance: Tons of space. Ultra family friendly. Board games, yard games, ping pong, fire pits. Awesome! Train tracks across the parking lot were a fun side benefit. Kids loved watching the trains go by. Drinking out of plastic cups wasn't my favorite but I understand why. Location: Next to North Mass Boulder. Not a great part of town but felt safe once you're there. Final thoughts: If you're downtown and have kids, you gotta stop here especially if it's nice outside.

Once you step inside, it's much bigger than it looks, and the patio is reason enough to visit all by itself. The outdoor space is one of my favorite parts--string lights overhead, plenty of seating, and just an all-around laid-back atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a drink on a nice day. The drink prices were surprisingly reasonable too, which never hurts. Brooke and Daniel took great care of me and made the experience even better. Friendly service always stands out, and they definitely delivered. I ended up ordering the pulled pork pizza to take home, and that turned out to be a fantastic decision. The smoky pulled pork, tangy barbecue sauce, and generous layer of cheese all worked together perfectly. It was one of those pizzas where you keep reaching for "just one more slice." Bonus points for something a lot of places overlook: the bathrooms were spotless. Clean enough that you actually notice--and yes, they even smelled clean. Whether you're looking for a casual neighborhood bar, a great patio to relax on, or surprisingly good food, Dugout Bar checks all the boxes. I'll definitely be back.

We complimented it, asked where they found it, and before we knew it, we were chatting with a wonderful couple who had traveled all the way from overseas just to watch Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever play that night. Moments like that are one of the reasons I love Indianapolis on game days. The patio was the perfect place to soak it all in. Fever fans filled the sidewalks, kids proudly carried homemade signs, and there was an excitement in the air that only comes from a city rallying behind its team. We could have people-watched for hours. Our waitress was exactly what every server should strive to be. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun to talk to, she somehow mastered the art of appearing right before we found ourselves looking around for her. We never felt rushed, but we also never waited for anything. The food held up its end of the bargain too. The fried mozzarella disappeared embarrassingly fast and earned a solid 9.3 on my unofficial stretch meter. Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside, with a marinara sauce that was every bit as good as the cheese itself. The chef salad was fresh, generously loaded with toppings, and easily big enough for a meal. I honestly couldn't tell you what beer I ordered... Because what I remember most is the experience. Sharing appetizers on a sunny patio, meeting fellow basketball fans from halfway around the world, and watching Indianapolis come alive before tipoff. Our server was friendly and responsive to one member of our group (male) but repeatedly didn't acknowledge another (female). This wasn't a one-time thing, it happened several times over the course of our visit, and it came across as dismissive. As for the drinks: beer prices were nice and cheap, but the margarita was on the expensive side and not really worth it. The place seems geared toward bigger dinner crowds, which may be why a two-person drinks-only table didn't get much attention, but being essentially ignored isn't a great look either way. We wouldn't return. 2/5.
