Walked in to order our food. The staff were nice and attentive as soon as we walked in. My order took quite a bit time to come out online orders were popping out even though my name was on the top of the list. The inside was clean and I always love the decor. Given this location a lot of business in the year and a half I've lived in the area (at least 1-2 times weekly). It has been perfect up until the last six months where it has started to go downhill. Picking up orders the staff has been rude, restaurant filthy, opening bag in front of them and stating items are missing and they deny it. Ordered twice for delivery, both times they forgot half the order. Called and female employee stated it was all in one bag (it's not possible to fit fries and 60 wings in one bag in the first place) Spoke with their corporate and they told me they would reach back out within 72 hours, it has now been over a week. Every time I come here, something seems to go wrong. Most of the time my orders aren't ready, but I've learned to adjust by setting my pickup time earlier than when I actually arrive. The workers at this wingstop are all very professional and courteous they are not the problem. The manager(s)/management here are very bad at running the restaurant. The store is always understaffed so the workers are overworked and the orders are rarely on time, especially during any event like every Sunday during football season. I ordered online and then went to pick up my food towards the end of the project time window, because I knew it would be a little busy due to it being a Sunday during football season. When I arrived I asked for my order with my name to pick up my food. Then I sat down, 30 minutes passed, I was wondering what was going on. I politely asked when my food would be ready just to check in and see the amount of time I needed to wait. Someone then told me my food had been ready for 30 minutes but I was waiting on my fries. I then went to my car to make a phone call so my friend grabbed the food about 10 minutes later. They handed him the wings that had been sitting for about 40 minutes by then and also an order of fries that were undercooked. The right thing to do here would have been to remake my order since it was sitting around somewhere for 40 minutes. A wingstop should not serve that to a customer that eats here several times a month. Food is fresh. If you order online and pickup it's better than ordering at the counter. Ordered a bunch of stuff without seasoning because of a low sodium diet, so it's nice that those options are available for the corn and fries. Other reviews complaining about the customer service don't understand how busy this place gets and how rude the customers are to the staff! I was waiting inside for my order, and I just see the staff hustling and still being friendly to the customers coming in. It's a Wingstop so it's basic decor. They always have the TV on sports games like the NBA playoffs or NCAA track, and football. My only issue is that they don't have regular napkins just a roll of paper towels. So let start with I order a bundle that is on their website stating that u can have 4 flavors, the shift leader said he can't do it he has to charge me for the it. I said no U should honor what is on ur website he just kept doing the order. We paid and I asked for the receipt. One of the staff members tells us we need to wait outside, he's very lucky his shift lead stepped in because he finally told everyone they had to step outside because otherwise he basically just singled us out because I expressed that it is ridiculous to advertise something and then tell the customer they would charge for it. Once outside I look at the receipt he still charged me for the damn sauce. So I go back inside to discuss why he charged me. He then proceeds to tell me his GM said it had to be done that way, even tho he manually added the charge. He said it's not a big deal, it's only 1.50. I told him if it's not a big deal then he can give me the refund out of his own pocket. He then proceeds to tell me he doesn't have to serve me. Ok so at this point this is not only horrible customer service but these staff members are down right rude with attitude. In which case we said we wanted a refund. I asked for the general managers name he said he didn't know it and couldn't give it to me. I said U can't give me the GM's name?!?!? He tells me it's Jon. I ask for a last name he says he can't give it to me. I'm sorry what?!?! So got the shift leads name deandre and the other rude employee is EJ. However, over the last few weeks the service has really taken a nosedive. Tonight, 8/30/22, I submitted my usual order via the Wingstop website and paid as required. My confirmation email arrived at 6:56 pm, with an estimated 16-21 minutes. I gave it about 15 minutes before I arrived at the restaurant. I gave my name to the guy at the counter who told me it wasn't yet ready. There were people waiting and more arrived as I waited. It didn't take long to see that the skeleton crew was getting overwhelmed. At 7:30 I stepped up to the counter to ask about my order. It took another 6-7 minutes before I finally got the guy's attention. Lo and behold, my order was sitting on a shelf. No one had bothered to call out my name when it was set there. Now for the kicker; the guy deliberately KEPT my receipt when he handed me my food. I didn't think much of it until I got home, microwaved my lukewarm wings, and decided I was going to leave feedback. Guess what? You need your receipt to leave feedback. The declining quality of service warranted feedback, but now it appears that there is some dishonesty at hand in trying to keep a customer(s) from reporting on this troubled location. I wish I could like this place more. It's very close and the family likes it, but I feel like between the inexcusably poor customer service and health violations I've lost any desire to come back. Without going into too much detail, read the other one star reviews here and you'll get the picture. Like so much of the world, the very concept of customer service seems to be on life support. People in customer-facing positions just don't seem to get it. Maybe they've been camping out during Covid too long and missed out on how to behave. It's a recent and unwelcome phenomenon. No greeting when I entered, no asking if I'm there to pick up an order or order there - nothing. I witnessed rude behavior to two customers. We all seemed to be waiting past the stated pickup time. Apparently it's a regular thing here. That aside, the aluminum trays that large orders go in...there were two stacks sitting in the floor that the employees, uniformly attired in stained and in-need-of-washing uniform shirts, just walked over them as they shuffled to get the dozen people's orders put together. Finally the employee doing, well, nothing apparently, picked them up, put paper liners in them, then stacked them and put them on the shelf. This location needs to pay for a manager who can manage.
