To the owner: 1. Came here around 10:00 pm and the restaurant was not tidy. 2. The soda/Iced tea machines dispersed lukewarm drinks. 3. Soda machine had no ice. 4. The chicken was raw in some parts and the fries were not fresh. If your business doesn't change then it will more than likely get someone sick and close down after a health food inspection.

Staff was friendly and store clean. Food was done on time. Wings were meaty, well seasoned, juicy, and crispy.

Skimpy fries, waited 40 mins to get the left overs

Many things could improve at this location. We walked in and there was no one. We order and sit down and wait for 40 mins and are given our food after other customers who came after us had ordered. Then I look at our fries and I see skinny leftover fries & no ice in the soda machine. Customer service wasn't good either, I walked in and the lady couldn't even say Hi.

    Hot lemon tenders

Ordered tenders and they're the size of boneless wings. Most of time they make them pretty well but I do notice that the consistency in quality can range greatly. Very disappointed they are usually pretty good

I went for an early dinner so I was the only customer at the time. They were able to make my food quickly and it was delicious!

New favorite restaurant, if ur Chinese this has all of the childhood restaurant favorites. All…read moregreat prices for the portions. We had the seafood tofu hotpot, shrimp wonton, garlic green bean, mongolian beef, half hainan chicken, and ny steak spaghetti to-go. Was a little busy at 7 on a holiday so we waited like ten minutes to get our order in, the guy memorized our order right as I said it lol. He confirmed and we got our soup in ten mins, ten mins for green beans and mongolian beef, another ten minutes for our chicken, then like seven for hotpot. Most disappointing was chicken, it's not hainan at all and just standard hong kong white chicken. Taste is fine and fresh but was sad. Best was the seafood hotpot AND the wonton soup. Both had great flavor and saltiness and was just sooo good. Wontons were very tasty and had a lot of meat, definitely both pork and shrimp, and soup even had little shrimp in it ifkyk. The seafood hotpot had great variety and flavor, my parents were pleased with the fish bits in it, the tofu was yummy bc it's fried tofu, the crab texture was not great maybe overcooked and I didn't like the soft cucumber but otherwise the broccoli scallop shrimp tofu fish bok choy was all great. Green beans and mongolian beef SERIOUSLY needed some wok flavor and wish the beef had black pepper because the seasoning was a bit lacking (wok flavor would be great here) and overall the vegetables were a little undercooked. They were addictive though I definitely kept going back for more. Hot tea is jasmine tea. Service was a bit lackluster but totally understandable and even though I was in a rush we were in and out by an hour and like ten minutes which worked. Ambiance wise, I didn't like how the lights are half brighter and whiter than the sun and half nicely softly lit. Tables are nice wood and a bit sticky but okay. There's random Chinese TV on the walls, very traditional lol and I think no music. Overall very pleased! Will definitely come back as much as possible to support, and highly highly recommend. I went harsh on Tim's because I was expecting perfect dishes, and even though some stuff didn't hit, everything was way beyond average.

We got Woodstock's pizza for a gathering and it was really good. I'm not familiar with Woodstock's,…read morebut I've heard about their pizzas from the wife who's an Aggie so she's had her share of Woodstock's. Since we didn't dine it, can't really speak of the ambiance, but the service was efficient and friendly. The meat choices were the Davis Classic pizza (Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushrooms, Olives, and Onions) and the Bacon and Onion so I got one of each. There was also a vegetarian one, the Pesto Primavera with pesto sauce, broccoli, artichoke hearts, sliced red onions and fresh tomatoes that was really loaded. And a vegan one that was mostly cheese with some veggies, I think it was the Woody's TGB (Tomato, Garlic, Basil). I didn't try the 2 meatless ones. All in all, the pizzas were tasty, fresh, the crust wasn't too thick, it was interesting that they fold over the edge and that's the crust. The sauce was good too and the Davis Classic pizza and the vegetarian pizza were loaded, but the Bacon and Onion was a bit lacking and a bit dry. Other than that everything was solid and I look forward to trying other pizzas on their menu.

Since, I live in Los Angeles, it's best to leave it to the locals who know the good spots. I let her do the ordering, since I am not too picky and wiling to try new things. We ordered her favorite Davis Classic pizza (Pepperoni, Sausage, Olives, Mushrooms, Red Onion), Ranch Garden salad with Pesto dressing (Greens, Red Onion, Mozzarella, Bacon, Croutons) and Man Cave Chicken Wings (BBQ and Dry Rub flavors). The pizza was fully loaded with toppings, they do not skimp! One slice was hearty and good enough for me, along with the salad and wings. The restaurant has a dozen TVs for watching all the sports. There's an upper level loft with additional tables for groups, and celebrations. This was a great choice for the location, tasty food and good value for the price. Sincerely, Rosemary

Great authentic chinese food!…read more We ordered the original style fried fish and the chef accidentally fried their marinated sliced chicken as it looks similar - we totally get it and we did not mind at all as it was delicious! As soon as the owner realized, she immediately told us she will get us a new one and was very cordial and friendly about it all! In general we feel while both are good, their fried chicken is much more flavorful compared to their fried fish. The space is shared with little gem Belgium waffles, is spacious and very clean. We are looking forward to trying their other food!

Everything here is made in-house, super authentic, and at a great price. It's clean and well-lit inside, and I even got a tour of the kitchen/storage which is well-organized and I saw that everything is made from scratch. I had the xiaolongbao, $9 for 8 pcs which is easily the best price in Davis. There's a good amount of meat inside and the meat is really soft. The chili oil was also great imo, not overpowering like other places and perfectly spicy. Unc Wei has made xiaolongbao for 20 years and is looking for feedback as he wants to make sure the filling suits local tastes. Highly recommend and will be coming back often!

My friends and I made a reservation for Saturday at 7pm, and the restaurant had some patrons but it wasn't too packed. Majority of the tables were booths that would fit 4-6, but if you're there for ayce, I wouldn't suggest more than 4 at each booth since the grills are small. The service team was friendly, but I think they're still working on the most efficient system. The ayce menu had a limited selection (in comparison to other kbbqs) for $32, but there were some highlights that my group enjoyed- salt and pepper wings, scallop and vermicelli, garlic noodles, sesame balls, and cheese corn. The meats were okay, but nothing to write home about. The bulgogi sauces were lighter, so that was nice, but I thought the marinade was off. I requested for the salt and sesame oil sauce, but that didn't taste right either. I hope they consider reworking the sauces and marinades because it would truly enhance the food.

It is AYCE so you can order a few sides, appetizers, and meats with every round. My favorite items that I tried include the salt and pepper chicken wings, garlic noodles corn cheese, bulgogi, pork bulgogi, scallop with vermicelli, and sesame ball. The brisket, galbi, and pork belly were just okay. They have multiple different sauce options, be sure to ask to help flavor your meats. Service was doing the best they could considering they just opened recently. I feel like we had to proactively seek their attention at least a dozen times. For $32 this is a very good value, so I recommend trying it out if you feel like pigging out!
