This was an interesting, though ultimately pleasant experience. I arrived yesterday at about the same time as an obnoxious couple that thought themselves exempt from this location's requirement that you wear a mask prior to entering the store. Needless to say, they exemplified the typical spoiled rich Boca kid, and a gentleman at the register by the name of Morris handled them masterfully. Ever heard of the term "grace under fire"? That was Morris. Never mind the fact that the boneless lemon pepper wings were delicious. He handled it with the kind of professionalism you see in those instructional videos, and you could tell he was managing both that and a bad day. Very dirty location and very unprofessional staff! Waited 45-50 minutes and it was not worth it. Tacky signs all over that say "no mask no service" but none of the staff were wearing masks properly. The ones who had them on at all had them below their nose or on their chin. Staff eating while cooking. Staff taking raw bags of dripping chicken from the cooler and then also tossing cooked wings in sauce without washing their hands. Person taking orders was rude. In both cases we ordered online, we're given a time of 45 minutes and then received "your order is ready for pickup" confirmation. Only to arrive with a ton of other people who were told their order was ready. Only to find out they can't find any of our tickets and when they do they say "we will start working on it". Then we check in 15 minutes later and they have to go and create another ticket and say "we will start working on it". This was happening to everyone. It took OVER 2 HOURS in both cases and everyone waiting was also waiting for two hours. They give false hope to people arriving who order takeout telling them it will be 15 minutes. How do you quote 15 minutes to a walk up knowing you have people who have been waiting for 2 hours for their one order of wings. If it happened once I would think it was a fluke (which we did) but this is literally a week later and the same thing happened. Once I got there I still waited about 15 mins for my food. I didn't open my order to check its accuracy before I left. I opened my box of food when i got home to find it is wrong. I had bone-in wings instead of boneless. I called the restaurant. I asked if i could come back to get what I ordered. They told me to come back and to bring the bone-in wings with me. I waited another 10 mins and my order was ready. I checked the order and it was wrong again. This time the flavor. I told the staff member who took those wings from me. I was asked another two times what I ordered. Another 10 minutes later I was given the correct style and flavor. My order was 8 boneless wings 4 hot and 4 garlic parm. There was less passion. This place used to be better back in the day. I hadn't been here since 2010 but it enticed me over Taco Bell. We ordered the lemon pepper and Cajun chicken. The lemon pepper had too much butter and the Cajun appeared undercooked and concealed with too much sauce. The fries had a sponge-like, buttery consistency and they didn't have mayo. To whom it may concern- I want to start off by saying I love wingstop to the core! The wings are so amazing. I have had a terrible experience the last few times being there and the last time being on February 13, 2022... which is also my birthday. I ordered a nominal size of wings, see below. After waiting for over 2.5 hours I never received anything. The franchise is so terribly run that they were randomly filling orders without a care. So I said let me try calling the franchise locations throughout the next 2-3 weeks and not once they have picked up, as a matter of fact the voicemail system is full.
