I recently dined at Legends for a weekday lunch with a coworker. We were seated upon arrival, even though they were quite busy. The menu is mostly bar fare but with some unexpected items. My friend suggested the chimchirri bowl with chicken (which in my mind seems like an odd choice for a bar) but I was pleasantly surprised. The portion was great, the rice was cooked perfectly & the pico / avocado was so fresh. The server was very kind. I will say service was a little slow but I do think she was one of the only servers. We arrived late on a Sunday night and seated ourselves and thankfully hardly anyone else was in the restaurant! The chicken was fried up perfectly and the batter was not too much. I got the buffalo sauce on the side along with some ranch dressing since I'm a little methodical with adding dragons/sauces as I eat a salad to make sure the lettuce doesn't get all soggy. It was a great experience and out server Taylor was very attentive and great! Tuesday wing night! This was my first time eating inside legends and first time at this location. Amazing deal and great service! We sat at the bar and got the wing special which is half off wings. Between 2 girls we got 16 naked wings crispy with sauces on the side to try. We tried their hot sauce, jerk, bourbon, and mango habanero. I'm a hot girl but the jerk was sooo good. The mango habanero was spicy! Bourbon was thick and sticky. We also split a side of shoestring fries they were golden and crispy. And our drinks were $2 off since we came during happy hour. Visited with son for a quick luncheon on a Friday. The bar had about 10 clients and maybe two booths filled at noon. We sat where we wanted and awaited menus. With self seating, they should keep menus up front to grab as you go. We ordered a couple sandwiches. They have a luncheon menu on weekdays however you must buy a 3.99 soda or bar type drink which knocks out any deal. No issue .... The shrimp Po'Boy was fresh , hot, and nice size for about fifteen bucks. The shrimp were lightly breaded and sauce had a little heat afterwards. Really nice choice. Son wanted the black and blue burger (blue cheese) and it was huge and had about every topping from mushrooms to grilled onions. He loved it and was beyond full. Pricing was about fifteen bucks also. The staffing was light but more than covered the clients. One barkeeper kept dropping glasses and trays which was annoying. Came here yesterday with a co worker of mine and was extremely satisfied with my meal. We ordered the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer - they were super crunchy and filled, wasn't a fan of the marinara sauce though. I ordered a BLT on multigrain bread which was perfect and the coleslaw was really delicious. My coworker had the wingers which were super crispy and delicious- make sure u specific with what sauce u want on the side or they bring u blue cheese. Stopped in based on the proximity of the restaurant to where I was already and honestly wished I had not. The service was TERRIBLE, and the food was bland. Came in to a sign that said seat yourself, so chose a high top table to the left of the bar. I had to ask for a menu from the bartender after waiting 5 minutes for the server. The place was not busy, so I couldn't use that as an excuse. When the server came over, there was no greeting, but a "what would you like" instead. Brushed that off and ordered a dozen wings with half being dry rub and the other half medium. To be honest, neither had a taste whatsoever. They both tasted the same, which was odd since the medium was wet. The fries I ordered, however, were fresh and crispy. Fries were definitely the highlight of the meal. Back to the server issues, after dropping off my fries with nothing said I never saw him again until I had to flag him over to get the check. He never checked on me during the meal, which was a shame because I would have liked another blue cheese dressing, but that wasn't in the cards. When he brought the check back after taking my CC, there was nothing but dropping, and I mean dropping the check on the table and leaving. Normally I would give a solid one star, but two stars were given based on the fact that Tues night is half wing night, the fries were really good, and it was trivia night which made eating alone a little more enjoyable. After a long day, I drove past Legends. I remembered a friend telling me to check out their chicken chili. Overnight low will be in the 50s, great reason to eat chili! So, I turned around and went in to order some to go. This was my first experience at any of the Legends. It won't be my last because I've also heard they have great wings. That was my expectation going in. I figured I'd order the chicken chili and have a beer while I waited for it. I never got the beer. No one wanted to take my order, let alone greet me or ask if I need help with anything. After waiting at the front of the bar (it was quiet) for over 5 minutes, I decided to walk around the bar to where the servers were and asked if I could get one to go. The gentleman asked me if I wanted crackers with it and I said no thanks. He didn't ask me if I wanted anything else, or something to drink while I waited. I stood on the side for a few minutes and he handed it to me. I have him a dollar tip as a courtesy. When I got home, I sat down and opened the container. The aroma was wonderful and the chicken chili looked vibrant! It was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious! They put a layer of cheese on top on the container. When I opened it after getting home, the cheese had melted perfectly to where it blended in with the chili. You could taste the chicken, red onions, cheese, and seasonings individually and add they blended on the tongue, YUM! I will say that I did add a little bit of hot sauce about 1/4 of the way to finishing it to the last drop. As I've looked through others reviews here, it appears people have had problems with the service here, but usually rave about the food. On arriving we noticed the place well lit and clean and we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server Jordyn was very friendly and helpful and attentive and that in itself was an extra star! We all went with the $ 5.99 lunch special except for the wifey who had the Mona Lisa that she loved! My partner in crime ordered a hot dog with onions, peppers and tomatoes, it was huge! So large that he brought half home. I ordered the bacon bleu cheese burger with caramelized onions medium rare,, it would have been great but it was over cooked for my liking.. no I didn't send back as I hate to waste food. Decided last minute to have a mini reunion. We literally picked this place from Yelp. Its proximity to everyone was pretty centralized. I contacted Legends to give them a heads up. Spoke to Joyce, who also put together a snack and appetizer table together for us. The food was delicious (wings, potato salad, coleslaw, chips and salsa, mini corn dogs, and mozzarella sticks).
