I sat in my car watching this chaotic scene from my car. But it's a fairly new business, so I ignored the optics and went in anyway.... We ordered for pickup 6:00, app says 15-20 minutes, the order will be ready. 30 minutes later, we go in and ask about our order only to wait another 30 minutes inside. They said that we never ordered, and then magically came out with the cold food. She started off by insulting the previous customer. We waited about 45 minutes.... It seems they give priority to Doordash/UberEat orders rather than walk-ins. Spare yourself the headache and disappointment. I've been a huge Wingstop fan for many years. This was the first time the food was inedible. The carrots seemed old and moldy. Plus the wings were dry and tremendously unflavored! Dry rubs you can usually see the seasonings but these wings were old, oily and unflavored. I called and was told to drive back (30+ minutes) to return the food or to exchange the food. Mind you it's raining and I have a newborn. Finally the refund was promised by (awaiting this persons name) I was appreciative of his understanding although he was unprofessional speaking while consuming food and used mild profanity. I was assured the transaction would be refunded in several days. I called back because the refund never happened. I was promised a call back and that the refund will happen and nada. I've been here 3 times so far since they opened and it is the best chain wing place I've ever been to far and away. They are always busy and despite this, the quality doesn't dip. They did just open a month ago and do have some wrinkles to iron out (y'all don't need to have a dedicated employee pouring drinks for customers when you have a free form drink machine in the lobby, just sanitize it frequently and I think you'll be fine) but all in all it's the best takeout spot to hit on the late night in the area.
