Uh folks, these things were huge, the first I've ever seen in a bar. Tasty, they were with the house sauce. Thin batter and very moist. I also ordered the fries. A mistake on my stomach, I couldn't eat them all and they were big Crinklecut crunchy fries. Everyone I asked in the bar eating said their food was excellent. So I can imagine the rest of the food. Eugene, one of the owners, was cooking. He was also pleasant to talk to. I saw their wings and they looked yummy as well. Be advised that none of their chicken is frozen pre-battered. Hint hint. Is why it's so good. It doesn't appear there's anything on tap if that's important to you. Drinks were a good pour,but don't expect them to have everything. They have a DJ playing on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday's; which gets a decent crowd according to the bartender. It's a mixed crowd when it comes to age. They offer dessert as well but I didn't try any of them. Overall great carry out experience and when I got to work my coworkers went nuts over the delicious smell, but I didn't share!! The patronage seems to be a steady stream of regulars, which is cool, but I suspect that is what's keeping this place afloat. But hey, our bartender was nice! The place itself, while divey, is pretty big, with lots of booths, a few pool tables, darts, etc. They have a lot to offer they just have to make some adjustments to their food provisions. It was spicy, and the pepperoni was perfectly crispy on top. The other stand out was the Cole slaw! It wasn't too creamy and had a great vinegar note with a little spice as well. Unfortunately the web (which needs to be updated with their prices) nor the menu we got didn't say anything about the dinner time menus, so we were stuck with the limited luncheon menu. Customers that came at 4:20pm were able to order dinner. The waitress was not very friendly but was attentive. Now, that said, my wife & I order the Shrimp luncheon and the perch luncheon. Both were excellent except for the table spoon size serving of Cole slaw. Good portion of luncheon shrimp and the perch was excellent. We may try getting there a little later next time to get the dinner menu. If would have been nice if both on the web and Resturant menu if they would have that printed when the dinner menu started.
